The only thing I did like is the staff. I paid 80 US dollars for a room that was not maintained. First there was paint spots on the floor, an open electrical panel in the closet. No safe until I had to call and ask one to be placed. No air conditioning. To get cool I had to open the window and the traffic was so loud all through the night I got no sleep whatsoever. Two pillows only. The shower liquid soap and shampoo was either diluted or low quality. The room looked like a room from hotel six. The breakfast buffet was okay but was very limited on items. I am glad I only spent one night. That place should be a 30 dollar room not an 80 dollar room. The manager should put more work in keeping the rooms updated. The appearance of Ion was very nice but the room was awful.

I found 2 mice eating on the night stand. The head shower was leaking same for the toilet hose. The TV channels were not available when i woke up at around 2AM.
The staff are very helpful, friendly and courteous, from kitchen, front desk and the security officers.
The hotel owner should invest a little to bring tge hotel up to standard.

The hotel staff were great! They looked after us really well. The only thing is the rooms aren’t soundproofed.

The property was well secured as well as the staff was accommodating.

I don’t get to take photos of my stay but one word best describes the entirety of the hotel and the staff from security to front desk, to dining area and room service: EXCELLENT

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY HOTEL OTHER THAN THE ION HOTEL. How did this hotel manage to pass a health inspection when it fails at even the basics of hospitality? The lobby restrooms were poorly maintained and had very dim lighting. Toilet caulkings were yellow/black; everything reeked of a public urinal. Concierge never offered to take our luggage to our room. We were brought to our booked room - which happened to be the closest one to the elevators. Upon entering, the first impression was noticeably dark and dusty. Initial inspection showed dust on every surface - including the door handle. A section of the flooring had a deteriorated hole. Nearby the floor hole and the entrance were several dead bugs (probably termites). A blacklight test showed stains all over the sheets - disgusting; absolutely unacceptable! We went back to the lobby to complain and, after they spoke to their manager, they offered a free upgrade to a suite. After about 15 minutes for them to prep the suite, we were guided up to check it out (again, the suite closest to the elevator). Spacious, but failed the blacklight test - again, stains all over the sheets and pillows. We bolted out and declined the offer. It seemed like none of their rooms were thoroughly prepared and inspected (even after stating we're checking in late). We took video footage of both rooms as proof. Apparently, this hotel used to be a Holiday Inn, but was reclaimed under new management - hence "grand opening".

Overall it was a pleasant experience. Staff is awesome but the hotel is older and it shows. They are remodeling and each room has A/C now. Tile floors show their age with light staining. Bed was good. Location is fantastic. The restaurant was great as well. I would stay there again.

Clean although some equipment aren’t unique unlike some other hotels.

The hotel was pretty nice. Stayed for three nights. The room as very nice, and when the staff cleaned the room they did an excellent job.
The breakfast was awesome. A lot of fresh choices to chose from although some dishes that should have been hot, weren't.
Only complaint I have is that the bathroom was poorly designed. There were two showers in the room. One stand up, and one with the bathtub. Both sprayed water everywhere because there were not shower curtains or doors and the shower heads were poorly maintained making them spray in places they shouldn't have been.
Water pressure was also poor and so was the water temperature.
Would consider staying again, but would probably bring my own shower head. ;)

We stayed in baguio for a few days. Because it was a quick trip, we were busy every day. The hotel was a great respite from long days touring the city and area. Very comfy bed, great shower. Loved the excellent selection for breakfast in the mornings. Conveniently located, about a 15 or 20 minute to the night market and park in the city center. Getting a grab in baguio is challenging but there are plentiful taxi stands where you can queue for a taxi and the hotel will help you get one too.

Great location about an 8 minute walk to Burnham Park and another 8 minutes to the night market. SM mall is just few more blocks away and easily walkable as well. Parking is easily accessible at the hotel and well secured with a guard on duty. The room was clean and well maintained as well as the other areas of the hotel.
Breakfast was included and it was good but, there could have been more breakfast dishes instead of pastas and salads. Overall a good value and great location. I would stay here again on my next visit to Baguio.

Clean, modern, GREAT Buffet breakfasts, very polite and respectful staff. Overall a good experience. Not so sure if I was there in the heat of summer if lack of air conditioning would be a factor but March for 8 days was fine.

The hotel is well appointed and offers excellent service. Checking in and out was quick and efficient and the facilities were of a high standard.
We had most meals at the hotel and found them most satisfactory with a good range of dishes.
The location of the hotel was close to the centre of Baguio but wasn't impacted by the cultural events in Session Road.

Proximity to the city. Excellent staff. Good food👍! But facilities need repairs😫!!!

A wide variety of breakfast items and friendly stuff. Unfortunately our room (416) had some damages on the walls behind the curtain and behind the desk. But the room and the bathroom are very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is too expensive for the quality of the room, no room air conditioning that’s why the room are smelly, i have to turn on and face the electric fan towards outside the window to get rid off the bad smells and the floors are squeaky every time we walk on

Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working. There is no air-conditioning in the room. Breakfast was so so... limited variety of food items. The coffee was very bland and you have to get it at the far end of the dining room. Upon check in, I had to insist that the stay was prepaid to Expedia. They replied I had to pay it as it was not prepaid. Fortunately, the Reception realized I had paid and they apologized. Apology accepted.

It is walking distance from Burnham Park and other tourist spot within the city proper. Easy to hail taxi from their location. Staff and guards are courteous and polite, they will feel you welcome ince you arrive. Can't complain about the breakfast and the room was better that I expected. Shout out to Alisson from the frontdesk for assisting us with what we need and for being so kind. A great experience overall.
