Clean, welcoming, modern hotel. Convenient rooms with personal parking immediately outside the external door. Restaurant area a little functional (made for business gatherings). Stay slightly impacted by total powercut for a few hours, meaning they could serve no hot food that evening

Large room, parking at the door of the room 5 cm. A good breakfast is included. You can also have dinner. Excellent for a star trip to the lakes.

This hotel was very good and very clean. Staff were super helpful. Only comment would be that although there was plenty of cold water supplied in room fridge, there were no glasses, not even a tooth mug and although there was hanging space there were no drawers or cupboards and hanging space was too short for dresses (we were staying for a wedding) and hangers were fixed so couldn't be moved where we would have been able to hang a dress

This hotel was FANTASTIC. Varese is a 50~ minute drive from Milan, but we were there for a wedding. Hotel is beautiful and check in was very easy. The rooms are nice with two entrances. Breakfast was great. Buffet style with typical breads, meats, eggs, and fruit. There is a spot for you to drink inside or outside with your party, which we were able to take advantage of until late into the night. Roadhouse restaurant within walking distance. Dedicated Parking spot was free and right in front of your room.

Very comfortable place to stay and the staff were extremely courteous to deal with. We stayed for 1 week with bikes and they willingly allowed then to be kept in the room. The breakfast was very good with ample offerings

Unfortunately, we only spent one night here. Given how beautiful the room was, with a private parking space right outside the French doors, a fantastic breakfast and in a good location, I wish we had stayed longer.The only downside was that there is only a limited availability of places to eat in a Sunday evening. In the event, we walked up the road to a very pleasant pizza/pasta place. However, if you do not like walking, take your car! We were told it was a few hundred metres up the road. Quite a lot of hundreds - in excess of 25! We attempted to get a taxi back. Nothing doing, it was Sunday!Standard test - would I go again. Definitely.

Very clean rooms and good breakfast. You can park your car next to your room. The room does not provide any shelf space or only 2-3 hangers for cloths, so if you come for a few days take into consideration living out of your suitcase

We stayed at Capolago hotel for 4 nights using it as a base for our trips to the various lakes around. There is plenty of parking space and you could park the car next to the rear of your room thus getting convenient access to it. The room were very clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed is there is no space to put your cloths and it forces you to live out of your suitcase. It is OK for 1 night stay for not for a few nights. The breakfast was very good and the staff extremely polite.

A bit far from the city centre (nearly 8km) and everything else, especially typical local Italian restaurant or café. The nearest restaurant (3 minutes walking distance) is a steak house and there is a supermarket about 10 minutes walking distance away.The rooms are efficiently cleaned everyday and wide range of breakfast every morning.

Good travel hotel for good price. Hotel large and good breakfast. Room large and overall clean, but smokers room. I was too tired to walk back and change rooms after 5 hour drive, just opened window and slept. Do hope this doesn't happen again. I will stay here again for location for business and milan airport.

The building is modern but showing signs of wear and tear. We arrived Sunday evening to be told no restaurant was available. Breakfast which we later were billed 8 euro each for was poor in that the "hot" food was cold and poorly presented. No mention of additional charges were made when be booked in. The bar facilities were limited and there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The building itself and location were what we expected the rest was a let down. I had hoped to return with a party of 20 later in the year this will now be relocated to an alternate hotel.

This hotel is very nice, it's definitely a great deal since you get more than your money's worth. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet is amazing, the staff is very friendly. The only con is that to get to and from you either have to have a car or a bike since there's not really much to to walking distance.

The guy at the reception didn't have the expedia reservation, it was found only when we checked out the room. We had to leave our passports at the reception or wait (for a very long time) to get it. We didn't get the room that we reserved and paid for. I don't know if that was intentional or not. The room was a regular room with a bunk bed, which is a disappointment.

New and clean hotel in a convenient location to serve as a base for a Star trip in the lakes district. Super friednly staff with good English and very positive attitude and willingness to help with advice on restaurants, attractions, etc. Rich breakfasts. Lots of parking. Room was a bit small for a family of two adults and two kids, and had no closet which we found very awkward. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Very convenient WiFi access throughout the hotel.

Nice hotel, excellent staff, and some interesting to excellent restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The only issue was temperature control. Will cool weather the heating system continued to work, and the room became very hot (27C) and the only way to cool it was open a window or door that ha access to the outside. Thus, minimized security.

The hotel ambience was good bu not a 4 star hotel.. The issue is distance, yes it is 30 min drive from Malpensa airport or 45 min by train. However once u reach the nearest station to the hotel, there is no option but Taxi to reach the hotel (15EUR) and every trip back ad forth should be accounted for. Besides booking a taxi is a marathon by itself. The Station is not a safe place if you there anytime after 9p.m. Hotel cleanliness and set up is great. Staff is very helpful, but cannot much if you don't knw to speak Italian. The restaurant is not operational other than breakfast. Unless you have plans to be in Varese, do not think its a right point to stay if you wanna go around Italy.

Arriving in the evening was a pleasant surprise thanks to the abundant lighting and spacious location. Superb design both outside and inside. Clean and bright. All rooms on ground level with spacious corridors. Breakfast OK. No restaurant. But very closeby is an alternative for a simple beef-dinner altough not for those who prefer a quiet dining At leaving one small administrative mistake that was solved quickly. All in all our one night stay was more valuable than the price that was charged to us.
