I would have left but nothing else was available or open, not 1 hour's sleep gained...

Nice friendly Hotel downstairs supported local fishing club raffle, food was good, but it stops there.

Roof issues created a night of no sleep as a vent or whirly bird made a consistent loud noise all night as wind blew. Room needs a blind or curtain on door to balcony as light projected through. I tried to reach out to hotel prior to this review but guessing there happy to have guests go through a night of hell that resulted in the next day's work ending early as too tired to drive or function safely or properly. Sad as I was looking forward to returning to the area after not being there for an extended period. unfortunately, staff there really do not have any control of accommodation other than taking your money and trying to find your key (which took quite a while). At around midnight I tried to source other accommodation without travelling further than I needed for next day's work nothing available or not open, so I endured the noise. Many will say you get what you pay for yes true, but you are entitled to a night sleep not, matter what you pay. I could have gone elsewhere but wanted to enjoy the environment of a good pub stay... Not here

Worst hotel room experience

I did like the location

Nothing other than location, please see the attached photo. It was taken at 2am. I wake up in the middle of the night because of the light and sound. Light was on the whole night. It was really hard to sleep. I don't recommend it to anyone who wants to rest peacefully

They have really thought about the guests here. Reasonable prices and cleaner rooms than some 4* hotels. Simple, comfortable and clean. Can’t fault it.

Terrible , no sleep , sweated all night .

Harrington pub is a great location - staff very good . Terrific sports bar area , big eating area and lovely deck on the water. Food was excellent and very well priced 👍

The room had no TV , no wardrobe , no windows . It was like a hot box . Such a shame because it is a great pub. They could make the rooms so much better. Don’t even think about staying here !!!

It would be good to have a lamp in the room. Air con would be super appreciated as well.

We had a one night enroute coffee Harbour -we were 5of us so booked the villa and it was clean and more than we expected

The location was great and the view from the terrace was breathtaking!

The pub downstairs was noisy until midnight so won’t be suitable for people with kids or elderly people

Overall a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful location and we enjoyed our meal there.

Very very basic room with no option to open the lovely old double doors on to the verandah.

beautiful area.

single lady placed next to mens toilet. charged more than couple staying same time. no bed side lamp. very noisy. my car sprayed with milk in car park. resturant menues very dirty.

I am not sure that I'd stay there again

I loved the position of the hotel. It was old school and the bed was super comfy but it was loud.

I was hoping the meals would have been quite a bit better. They did disappoint us

Beautiful location, clean accommodation, nice pub.

Location was just awesome in the old part of Harrington, it is an old style pub accommodation, you know with the ablutions block along the hallway, and the coffee etc along the corridor. The Hotel grounds adjoin the inlet and provide marvellous views. The bedroom was very clean, bed very comfortable. The pub itself is very modern and obviously popular, meals were very good, staff extra friendly. If you don't mind not having a room with no TV etc but want peace and quiet, avoid Friday and Saturday nights. $80 for one person, $90 for two, can't beat it.

Great location.

Staff were very friendly, apartment was clean and well maintained. Location was perfect. The views were amazing from the deck.

We were there with a group celebrating. The rooms are not very well sound proofed which was not an issue for us but could be for some people. Some locals became aggressive accusing us of being rude to an older gentleman who we were talking to about fishing when leaving the pub downstairs. This could have turned sour. However we are not aggressive people and we’re there for a good time and explained that.

Great but ended up being disappointing

The bed was large Great meals from the bistro

Booked in November (7 months before check-in) I informed them I needed to check out at 4am, this was confirmed as being accepted, then they decided to hire a live band for that one night which played until midnight. Had to drive to Sydney on less than 4 hours sleep.

Enjoyable stay at Harrington Hotel.

Enjoyed the simplicity of our room and bed so comfy. There was a tea and coffee area upstairs with fridge and milk for guests to use. There were lots of guests the nights we stayed but the hotel was very quiet at night. Loved having the bistro and cafe downstairs - we used both and the food was delicious and staff delightful. The accommodation and shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Easy walk to the RSL/Bowling Club. We were very comfortable at this lovely hotel and would absolutely stay again.

Enjoyable and restful, a good hotel to break your journey at, travelling between Sydney and Brisbane

Though very basic, the rooms were impeccably clean, so were the washrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good range of food and beverages to choose from in the restaurant downstairs.

Given the location and resources available, can’t really think of anything I did not like. A TV in the room would have been good but it’s not a critical issue

The view and the dining were excellent, as were the staff. If there are only two people it is very good value for money, with no complaints at all.

The beds were not very comfortable, there were only 2 power points in the room. Didn't realise that it was a community bathroom, this isn't really a minus, but would not have booked if we'd have had any of the information above.
