There are 2 TRE train stations within 10 minutes of our home (free parking at the train station and low round trip fares to both Dallas and Fort Worth make this a very attractive option for those not interested in braving the traffic and parking in downtown)
For fans of the Arts, see who’s playing at The Theatre at Grand Prairie, catch a concert at Texas Trust CU Theatre, AT&T Stadium or the AA Center in Dallas. If you arrive by car, we have parking available for up to 6 vehicles in the driveway.
SMOKING POLICY
No Smoking Indoors or in the Garage.
Smoking is permitted outdoors. We have conveniently located ash trays around the property and they are Self-Service ashtrays. You must clean out any butts and other smoking related materials and dispose of them in the trash prior to check out.
This area of our neighborhood is Smoker-Friendly, so our backyard is a good place, just don’t be obnoxious about it.
No Parking on Street
Please park in the driveway. City of Grand Prairie regulations do not allow short term rental guest parking on the street.
NO PARTIES/LARGE GATHERINGS
Large unauthorized gatherings are prohibited. Only registered guests are allowed on the property without our prior written approval. We want you to have a great time at our place but we also value our neighbor’s right to a peaceful neighborhood. Reports and confirmation of unauthorized gatherings will result in immediate cancelation of any remaining portion of the reservation and will result in additional charges for any fines or damages.

POOL
Be aware, our Pool is very deep. It is designed for adult use so please be very cautious with small children and NEVER leave them unsupervised. We have installed a loud chime bell on the back door to instantly alert you when the door is opened. The pool is NOT equipped with an alarm so please take all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. DO NOT swim alone, always have someone watching.
ENTERTAINMENT
TVs are equipped with streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon, YouTube along with cable TV. Our High-Speed WIFI will handle multiple devices at one time, although we can’t guarantee any specific performance. Login info provided in Welcome book.
NOISE LEVEL MONITORING
Please note that in order to be a good neighbor and host responsibly, we ask that you comply with the local noise ordinances and occupancy regulations. Our neighbors are fairly tolerant of lower level noise and backyard activity between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm. After 10 pm, the outdoor noise level must be no louder than a quiet conversation. Please also be cautious of the volume of music and TV inside our home as well, although our home is well insulted, high-volume levels will disturb neighbors.

SPECIAL NOTES:
We are committed to providing the best experience for our guests so we like to point out a couple of quirks.
The kitchen floor has a couple of minor uneven spots due to a large plumbing pipe replacement that was recently completed. You will also notice that our pool is original to the house which means it is old but it is professionally maintained weekly all year round and previous guests spend every day in it and love it! We swim in it every day, weather permitting, when we are home and have for the last 23 years. We are the actual owners of the home, raised kids here and do come back frequently to visit our friends.
The home is equipped with 4 Blink cameras outside and 1 inside the garage. Other than the 1 camera in the garage, there are no interior cameras. We do not monitor the cameras unless notified of an issue, they are set to motion activate and record for liability purposes.
If you notice something during your stay that requires quick or immediate attention, or any attention at all for that matter, please contact us directly as soon as possible. This helps us maintain high standards for all of our guests.

This house was everything promised and more! We had such a great time in the pool and the gorgeous backyard. All the beds were comfortable, the living areas were very inviting and the kitchen had everything you could need. We can’t wait to stay again!

I was blown away because you never get a place that matches the pictures exactly and this home did. Very clean and great communication with owner. When you walk in there’s a peace in the home that you very seldom feel these days. My daughter was house hunting so we did a road trip. I will be back on my next trip to Texas if available. The property is located near ranger stadium. The neighborhood is very nice. The pool saved the entire vacation. Kids stayed in the pool until 830-900p. The host was very pleasant and understanding about a snafu. I would definitely stay again

I would stay here again, but the house is more "lived in" than I expected. Apparently this is not just a rental, it was their home for decades and it shows. Except for the master, everything is old or worn out. The kid's room is a mess, the towels/sheets/blankets were all worn out, and the cleaning crew could've been more detailed. The pool water is great but the walls/bottom are completely worn off. Also we could never get the LR TV to work, the owner tried to help but it never got resolved.
The location was great and the size of the house is great for a large group.

We stayed for ten days, between selling our old home, and closing on our new home. With ALL our things in storage, the Dean's home was perfect for us; we each had our own space with TV, and could also come together for TV time and/or mealtime in the family area. Mr. Dean was quick to respond to our questions. We didn't have the opportunity to utilize the pool, but it was cleaned and ready the day after we arrived. The home is clean, comfy, cozy and roomy!

We are regular travelers and needed a place that could accommodate our large family. We were so glad to find this place! We would rate Dean and Devi place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was warm and homely had everything we needed to feel at home and was a short drive to all the places we wanted to go. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful house.
