Upon arrival the house smelled as mold, the kitchen cabinets need repair and upgrade. The restrooms need major update, we did not feel comfortable using it. The walls were stained, the sheets were stained too. The towels had yellow stains we had to use 1 per 2 people. The restroom on second floor is aweful and has mold formed around the bath tube as well as shower curtains. Over all experience was terrible I do not recommend staying unless it is your last option and you don’t mind the filthy look of the property.
The only good/upgraded restroom Is the masters but even in that bedroom the sheets had human hair. We arrived at 1am therefore we couldn’t leave to find a hotel.

This place fit the budget and was close enough for all our London activities. We needed a little extra space for our adult kids traveling with us, and this place was just right. Michael was attentive as it was quite warm during our stay and he sent us fans to stay comfortable at night. The house is older but that added to its charm.

We had a great time in London.
Communication was good. Check would have been uncomplicated, just the lock doesn’t work very well. Maybe it could be changed?

Once we got in (the front door lock isn’t easy) we had a wonderfull time. We went there with 7 adultd and the house has enough space.

Michaell is a very kind and response host and open to every question we have. Getting the keys on a Sunday afternoon from a nearby shop went smoothly. Overall our stay (whole family with kids and grandmother) was ok. The (town)house has 3 floors, where on each floor you have a bath. On the first floor is the kitchen and the living room, while on the others are the bedrooms. Some things have to be noted:
- the house is poorly soundproofed (i.e. you hear every step of everyone) and generally could be more maintained (kitchen cabinet and oven, other bathrooms)
- the pictures gives here resemble mostly the newest room in the attic (more pictures from the other room would give a better impression)
- the "garden" is small but maybe for London its large :)
- the neighbors were a bit strange, but this you can not influence.

Booking online can be scary as you have really no idea where you are in relation to where you want to be, especially when doing so in a different country.. Michael was helpful from beginning to end related to his home and navigating the area. At the last minute we needed to add an extra night due and he made this effortless. We appreciated his home and prompt response to communication.

I stayed here with three of my friends on our trip to London. The location was about ~30m away from downtown by train, but that didn't bother us. There were plenty of amazing restaurants and cafes in the New Cross area. We loved walking through the park every day to our favorite cafes. The home itself is in a cute cul-de-sac style neighborhood with mostly families around. The place could use with a little TLC, in regards to the second floor shower and the pots/pans that look very well loved. Didn't disturb our stay, we just ended up ordering food out. Would recommend the home to anyone looking for a nice place on the south side of London!

Chill area about a 10 minute walk from the Overground station. Convenience shop around the corner. Perfect for a group of couples or a larger family. Good wifi speeds, smart tv with Google TV, lots of TV channels. A little warm in the morning sun facing rooms, but not too bad. Effective black out curtains in all bed rooms.

Lovely stay, very comfy beds. Not the safest area but would work for short stays
