Great location to relax, Clean and comfortable room. Had a wonderful stay

The view from as lovely and the villa was modern.
During the week, there is no option for breakfasts or dinner and the fridge was not big enough to hold anything to cook on the provided bbq.
This premises is clearly aimed at weddings, and there was not a lot of information provided by staff about anything for our 2 night stay.

We enjoyed the wine tasting and the staff were so kind to us and sent us to the room with a cheese tray and pizza. We were really tired and wanted to stay in and that was our only option for dinner. They also gave us bread and olive oil so we had bread and cheese for breakfast. If you spend the night there, you need to take groceries with you. We did not know that but they gave us adequate snacks to sustain us. The room was lovely and there was a grill and kitchen facilities so that you could cook if you had supplies. They had a very nice fancy expresso machine that I loved but the milk in the mini fridge was not fresh. It did not heat well. It is a beautiful property but it needs to try harder for the overnight suites which are expensive for what you get.

Beresford was beautiful, location was perfect, amenities were top notch and the whole atmosphere was relaxing, a perfect getaway. Not only did we love the accommodation, the service was excellent, we left an item behind, which was promptly posted back to us with no fuss. A must Mclaren Vale stay!

Lovely setting, only downside was because it was in week there was nowhere local to have a meal in evening, still enjoyed the winetasting

We enjoyed breakfast but felt that there could have been more menu options and that it was very over priced. We also would have liked if the breakfast could have been enjoyed on our beautiful private patio rather than having to drive to the restaurant.
The shower conditioner and body was had been watered down, which cheapened the experience for us. The body wash was almost completely water. However the overall experience was fantastic and we would definitely come back

Location, facilities, styling, quality of all items provided. The most fastidious of guests would be extremely satisfied with the grand suites.

The whole experience was outstanding...We had suite 12 ...very private and a great view towards the wedding venue and the tap house at the top of the hill.
Breakfast at the top of the hill was brilliant - we were alone with a quality chef cooked breakfast enjoying a Mc Laren Vale spring sunrise.
Loved the selection of wine and spirits and the staffs can do attitude.
Need flyscreens ASAP !

The accommodation, in the Reserve Suite we had the most beautiful views, so quiet and serene.
The bathroom just needed a table or wall mount - somewhere to put your toiletries

Room not made up on one of the days.
No coat hangers when we got there at 11.30 pm so no staff on premises to ask.
Bathroom had no storage at all.
Shower leaked all over floor so everything got wet.
Perspex glass wall between bathroom and bedroom meant room was light with the sun. Also, bathroom light at night lit up the whole bedroom area. Door wouldn’t stay closed if fan on.
Outdoor path for car park was just dirt. Room became very dirty from this.
Outdoor balcony very dirty and couldn’t use furniture.
Limited days breakfast offered. Between 8-10 am only and need to drive to the location or long walk up the hill.

The views, the serenity, the appliances, the location, the wildlife, the food, the wine and the staff.
A King rather than Queen bed would be great and if you could dim the lighting on the light switches on the bedhead.

Absolutely fabulous property!
Room /suite was warm and very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need.
The bed was very comfortable. Great coffee machine and they provided fresh milk which was so appreciated. Amazing views over the vineyards from a beautiful balcony. Location is perfect for exploring the area.
Catelyn was very helpful and lovely at the reception/tasting room.
The property was so lovely. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
But the negatives (minor issues) I will point out is the light switch lights glow and illuminate the room at night and need to be covered.
There was a layer of dust on a few items ( plastic bedside lamps esp)
Uber and Taxi service in the area is very unreliable. Not the property problem, but useful info for those visiting like us who wanted to enjoy wine and food of the area but not drive.

new and clean / relaxing and everything is right there beer whiskey gin wine
the only thing that could be improved would be the size of the fridge we didn’t take much but still struggled to fit anything in

great location
plunge pool needs to be heated. Breakfast provisions would be a benefit as we paid top dollar to stay here and for the price you expect breakfast to be included.

Amazing location! and great facilities (TV, kitchen, coffee machine, BBQ, mini bar, steamer, dressing table, robe and slippers!) The staff were also great and accommodating - there was an issue with the booking, somehow it got cancelled on their end but not on booking.com. They were able to find a room for us and did a quick clean prior to our check in.
After their assistance with the room, the room was quite dusty and dirty, we had to throw away half of a bottle of wine and the glasses had dead bugs in them after being left on the bench. I did advise the room required further cleaning the following day, however it was never cleaned properly (assume due to staffing issues as they seemed severely understaffed for a VERY busy long weekend) The dishwasher was also not working, we tried multiple times and were unable to get it to work. For the fact we were paying nearly $350 per night we would expect a higher level of cleanliness.

Great location with beautiful views across the vineyard. The room was delightful to walk into. Well-appointed, very modern and looked picture perfect.
No instructions on how to use the coffee machine. We are familiar with many different brands but this one had us stumped. Fortunately we had brought along our own capsule coffee machine so crisis averted! Mixer taps were a bit tricky but we worked that out, same with the TV remote and dishwasher. I thought we were pretty up with most things and it was frustrating to have nothing to refer to. When I mentioned this on check out, I was told very matter of factly, that it was something that they hadn't got around to yet. Not the best response.

It would have been helpful to have an after hours contact number to call for questions.
