Welcome to 5 Barnacle Row just inside the gates of Wild Dunes. Your family will enjoy gathering in this newly renovated 4-Bedroom Isle of Palms vacation rental with plenty of room for the family. Walk out your back door directly on to the beach path and your feet will hit the sand in less than three minutes.
This home is professionally decorated with 2 King Rooms and 2 Queen Rooms (total of three queen beds). Additional sleeping space in the downstairs kids area on the full sized sleeping sofa. You will find a fully stocked kitchen with breakfast nook. Dining area perfect for hosting an evening dinner then gather around the fire pit on the rockers to enjoy an evening outdoors. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful beach home.
Inside, the home is professionally decorated as the perfect beach getaway, complete with coastal themed rooms and decorations, encouraging a relaxing vacation throughout your whole stay. The large living room with seating for all is great for family game nights, and the dining room is perfect for dinners with friends. Additionally, the spacious kitchen, right off of the dining room, is a faultless location for early morning breakfasts before the beach, or late lunches for guests who prefer to sleep in late. With renovated amenities and appliances, cooking could not be easier during your stay, and will make your vacation even more enjoyable. The bedrooms, two king rooms, one single queen room, and another with two queens, continue the modern coastal look, and the comfortable bedding and mattresses will ensure you and your family restful nights of sleep before big days on the sand.
Back outside, a screened-in patio, complete with comfortable outdoor furniture, is great for late night conversations with friends, and is the perfect way to end any night during your stay. Throughout the day, this already shaded patio is further shadowed with the soft green leaves of the large trees around, and receives a refreshing ocean breeze, making it the best place to read a book or to enjoy lunch after a day in the waves.
Spending your vacation this close to the beach, your trip will definitely be filled with lots of beach waves and fun in the sand, but this family-style, modern home will ensure that it will be full of memories and valuable family time as well. 5) If you have any issues during your stay, please notify us immediately. At check-out please leave the place as you found it upon your arrival. Any costs to repair or replace an item, fixture, or furnishing found damaged after your stay must be compensated by you. All damage and replacement costs include a labor charge.
6) Smoking, Vaping, and Parties of any kind are strictly forbidden.
7) Guests agree to follow the cancellation policy at the time of booking, and agree to any cancellation fee that may apply in the event of a cancellation. Guests agree there are no exceptions to the policy including illness, travel restrictions due to weather, and reasons related to Covid-19. Travel Insurance is offered to cover losses for cancellations during full penalty cancellation period.
10) Guests should inspect the property upon checking-in and notify Management of any issues, damage, missing amenities, or unsatisfactory conditions. Should there be an issue, guests will allow a reasonable amount of time during business hours for Management to address or provide a solution for any reported issues, or unsatisfactory conditions.
* It is the guests' responsibility to ensure they have all their belongings before checking out. If guests would like an item shipped to them, there is a minimum of $25 shipping and handling fee plus the cost of shipping. We will hold items for 1 week if guests would like to coordinate a pickup of an item.

We had a great stay with family! Beautiful house and short walk to the beach. Perfect place to enjoy the sun, sand and relaxation!

Good location with easy one block walk to uncrowded section of beach. House was clean and comfortable. No beach equipment available so you need to rent. Stair was broken on arrival but property manager responded quickly and it was fixed a few days later. Overall a great week at the beach.

Enjoyed the property with grill and deck great place to be! The path to the beach had warning of snakes and I am not a lover of snakes. The bedrooms stack for great privacy. The extra room with television would be great for children or two families. Love the house.

We met our friends from Boston in Charleston and stayed here for the weekend. There was a total of 4 adults and 5 kids/teens. There was plenty of space for everyone and the location/easy access to the beach was great. The management team was responsive when we needed a few things and they took care of it quickly. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home for our getaway for a family wedding. The home is beautiful and location was perfect. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable beds. The grounds in Wild Dunes are breathtaking! looking forward to return!

We had 13 family members staying here and another 8 staying nearby. Home was perfect size when all got together for dinners. The garage door was not working when we arrived which could have presented a problem with parking however, property manager had a temporary fix completed immediately and permanent fix completed next morning. Everything else was beautiful and exactly as presented in pictures. We loved our stay and would love to visit again.

Everything we expected. Close to beach, golf and tennis. Definitely rent the bikes with your 175 credit. We explored all of IOP both in and out of Wild Dunes. Kitchen trashcans could be a smidge bigger but just nitpicking here. Great layout for our 5 kids aged 8-14.

Our stay overall was great! The beds were comfy and the house was clean. Beach access was easy and super convenient. The only things that were minor issues were the doors. The patio door is really difficult to open and the front door doesn’t stay shut without the dead bolt. Also, none of the doors in the house really latched. It’s also important to note that this house can only sleep 12 and that’s if you have two in each bed and two on the sleeper sofa. When I originally booked it said sleeps 14.

Amy's house provided a great base for exploring Charleston and the Isle of Palms during the three nights my wife, daughter, mother-in-law, and I stayed there between Christmas and New Year's. It's an easy 30-minute drive to Charleston and, as advertised, literally a 3-minute walk to a gorgeous, long, clean beach. Directions were clear and check-in was easy. The house was spacious and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds, nice spaces for lounging, and a well-supplied kitchen. It's somewhat close to the street on one side but noise was negligible, and the deck on that side still felt private. We're happy we chose it.

Amazing house and location. It fit 10 of us perfectly and we loved the ease to the beach. The reason I’m giving 4 stars are due to some inconveniences we experienced while at the property.
The house comes with “kits” which is not enough for anyone to get by for three days. With the kits, we never received shampoo or conditioner, so we were left with having to go to the store and purchase many simple items to last 3 days.
No beach towels and one towel per person, so we had to do loads of laundry, just to keep clean
They didn’t have anything in the kitchen in terms of laundry pods, dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher soap or any spices/olive oil. We had to purchase many things that just ended up being thrown out, since we all flew in.
Another issue is that they did not allow us to lower the thermostat below 72, which made sleeping over night uncomfortable for us. Kind of silly that we spent so much to not be able to control our temperature.
If I were driving into this location, these small issues wouldn’t be a big deal but due to us all flying with carry on bags, these were extreme inconveniences for us.

Our travel club has been taking trips together for 35+ years and this is the first destination and experience where all want to do it again next year! The house was beautiful and in an excellent location to enjoy the beach and gave us easy access to all of the history and tourist items in the Charleston area! We absolutely loved our stay at 5 Barnacle Row. We had 6 adults during our stay and we had plenty of room in the house. The house was very clean and updated. The beds were very comfortable. It was a quick walk to the beach. The team was so easy to work with and if you needed anything they responded immediately! The check in/check out process was so easy. The pictures online are exactly how the house looks. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The property was clean and comfortable and as indicated close to the beach. Because the property is inside Wild Dunes we assumed access to pool etc. We were disappointed to find this was not the case and wish that information had been explicitly stated.

5 Barnacle Row is now our favorite beach spot! Easy walk to beach and we enjoyed the screened porch and deck area! Also loved the design/decor with lots of windows & separate bedroom areas with comfy Sealy posturepedic mattresses on all the beds. Nice renovations to home especially the master bedroom/bathroom! We can’t wait to come back! Very responsive management/owner with answers to questions before our stay.

This house is in an ideal location for walking to the beach and easy access to get back to Charleston for sight seeing. The owners were very responsive to questions and stopped by to help us with the fire-pit on a moments notice. Our large group enjoyed the 3 levels of bedrooms for more privacy. Highly recommend!

A group of 6 ladies living across the country all went to HS together got together to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This home was perfect for our getaway. Communication was fantastic and we had everything we needed ahead of time to create out perfect stay. The place was sparkling clean. Everyone commented that their beds were comfy. All of the bathrooms were updated and some commented that they had great water pressure. It was a very short walk to get to the beach and some enjoyed daily walks. One of our favorite areas was the screened in porch. Plenty of seating for all of us to chat the night away in the main living space. Truly a great fit for us.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I really wanted to because this was such a nice property! For the last few years we have been doing a Christmas trip with our kids/grandkids(ages1-12) we booked pretty last minute and this was an amazing property. Everything was very clean, all furnishing were very nice, beds very comfortable!! The location to beach was great(short walk across the street) we did a lot of things during the day, toured USS Yorktown, Charleston, Folly beach, Fort Moultry, and everything was just a quick easy drive. If there was anything I could say we missed was I wish we had some beach chairs, beach towels. There were lots of extra pillows but no extra pillow cases, so that would of been nice. Nothing that was bad, just would of been nice for those items! Super easy check-in, and we were able to get in early!! I would absolutely recommend this house, thank you for such a great week!!!

Very nice Property. Some repairs are required: Daughter got locked in the upstaires bathroom. Anchoring screw fell out of the dishwasher (I left a note). Requires a bigger screw or newly drilled hole. Installation over front door is noisey. Perfect time in a perfect place.
