Location is great and beach was very nice. House is older and not kept up as well as the pictures would suggest. Kitchen is not stocked as well as most rentals I’ve stayed in. Large dining table was a definite plus. Bathrooms are very small with very little room to keep toiletries in, especially since shared. We saw a few large roaches during our stay. I have been staying at Ocean Isle for 20+ years. Overall it was an okay place, but only okay. The price is way too high for what you get.

Open and bright. Well equipped. Updated kitchen.
Owners very responsive although we didn’t have any concerns.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this house. Very convenient location to Publix, restaurants and shops. There is a park in the area for smaller kids to play. Beautiful house and decor. The bathrooms are small, but very nice. House was super clean. The house rocks/sways a bit but it could have been from the wind due to storms being in the area. Overall, I would recommend this location for family vacations!

Never one to really complain, but place was very old and outdated. Very low score on the cleaning as sand was visible everywhere and kitchen sink still had food crumbs and counters sticky. Unfortuanstely this house bought the wrong type of furniture as the white couch is badly stained leaving us covering it with blankets not have to look at it. Laundry area a sandy dusty area that machines smelled of mold. To top it off we found roaches upstairs and downstairs crawling and never felt any food could be left out. Overall, other than location it was kinda a big disappointment. The king room on the right back corner had a bed the practically sank to the floor when you sat on it. No one could sleep on it. That is just not acceptable. Kinda asked a lot of money for the poor condition of the place. Would not recommend! But the truth is it's is way overpriced for the age and few if any updating. Closets are dirty looking and drawers in rooms had sand in them. Just saying do better!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I had a great stay. The house was clean, and easy to toddler-proof. I loved the big dining room table that had room for all of us too sit comfortably. Although there isn't a wooden walkway, the beach was easily accessible via a roped off path thru the dunes. We also enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching and listening to the waves, and were grateful for the overhanging roof over part of it. Overall an excellent experience.
