About this apartment rental
If you're looking for a home with bags of character, you've hit the jackpot here. The artistic space was borne out of two incredible interior architects working closely with the owner, transforming the 1930s home into an aesthetic dream. And with a desirable location in the Sainte Thérèse neighbourhood in artsy Rennes, as well as a suntrap garden, there's a lot to love here.
Every corner of this place will have you falling in love with it. The design beautifully combines maximalism with a cool, mid-century feel to create a cheerful and vibrant space. Although this home is aesthetically gorgeous with striking artwork and designs, it's still very liveable. The plush sofas and muted colours have been carefully chosen to help anyone who stays here feel at ease. It's a fantastic choice whether you're visiting as a family or with a group of friends.
Mornings here are particularly lovely. There's certainly no shortage of light here, with sunlight beaming in from the large skylights and through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The space comes alive as the gallery-white walls light up, inviting you for a hearty breakfast around the dining table. Or, take breakfast outside to your garden space to make the most of the invigorating morning sun, before heading out to explore.
In this suburban dream, you might not realise how close you are to the city centre. While you're on a quiet, leafy street, you're just 250 metres from the closest metro stop. From there, you'll be in the city centre within just a few stops. But if you don't mind the walk, you can reach the city's famous museums, theatres, and central halls in around fifteen minutes by foot.
When you get home after a day of exploring, you'll love stepping into this beautiful space. Armed with a bottle of wine, catch the last of the afternoon sun in your flourishing garden, appreciating the peace and quiet after a day in the city centre. Your kitchen has everything you need to whip up dinner, or there are several brilliant local restaurants that are ready to take care of that for you.
Home truths:
*There is unrestricted free on-street parking here
*This home is on the ground floor
*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
