You'll find the perfect vacation rental at this Flagstaff home, complete with all the indoor and outdoor amenities for a wonderful stay! Our retreat offers modern furnishings and central A/C, with a pristine yet cozy atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing after your Flagstaff mountain adventures!
This home away from home is located in the mountains of Flagstaff. Our comfortable two story home is conveniently located in Continental Country Club in East Flagstaff and has all the amenities you expect. Our Burning Tree Retreat boasts just over 3,000 sq ft with 2 outdoor fire pits, outdoor games like corn hole and bocce ball, a large office with built in desk, and a stunning gas fireplace! You'll find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground level of the home and 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom on the second level.
The expansive windows on the primary level will take your breath away! Bask in the afternoon light filtering into the home while relaxing after your adventures! You'll love the central location of this home! Downtown Flagstaff is less than 5 miles away and only 1 mile from The Oakmont Restaurant and the 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, they feel like they're practically in your backyard!
For stays of 7 days or longer, this condo is part of the Continental Country Club that offers golf, tennis, pool access, fitness center and the Bear Paw Recreational Center. Country Club amenities are available at an additional cost for stays of 7 days or longer.
The proximity to family friendly activities will not disappoint! Santa's Workshop is less than 2 miles away and kids will love the nearby Flagstaff Aquatic Center with indoor lazy river and waterslides.
Dogs may be allowed on a case by case basis. All dogs must be disclosed and approved prior to confirming reservation. An additional $50 per dog per night pet fee will be charged ($250 per dog per week). Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding and not to be left unattended in the home unless kennel/crated.
Other things to note: This home is fully furnished and stocked with essentials to get you started on your trip!

We loved our time at the Burning Tree house! We had our family of 4 as well as some family that visited and there was plenty of space. Our favorite part of being there was the outside spaces - morning coffee on the front deck and afternoons spent running around the backyard. The location was awesome and the communication with the rental company couldn’t have been better. Looking forward to another visit to this rental soon!

We arrived on time and followed the clear access instructions. The house was big, clean and airy with plenty of towels for the three bathrooms. The only things missing were napkins, facial tissues and seasonings. All in all it was about right for our family and friends.

House was nice. Only issues was it was advertised that we would have access to the country club facilities. I even asked the owners if this was the case. They told me yes for $10 a day. This was not the case and according to the country club, it has not been the case for a long time. Pictures need to be removed from the Vrbo. Very misleading. No lights in the downstairs guest room. Had to use lanterns. Ceiling fans in both downstairs bedrooms did not work. We still enjoyed our stay in Flagstaff. Home was beautiful and well equipped. Loved the fireplace and outside fire pit. Don’t mean to be a negative Nancy, just a few things need to be addressed. We would stay there again

we had a nice family weekend here and really loved the property. the home is spacious with amazing views and the kitchen is well stocked. we cooked all our meals there during our stay so we heavily used the kitchen. the kids enjoyed the big living room as well as playing in the backyard. there was no linen for the pullout couch in the office but we didn't end up needing it. Also, some of the furniture out back wasn't in the best condition but it didn't affect our stay as we spent most of our time enjoying the warmth inside. we would 100% return to this property!

Couldn't of asked for a better house and location. The entire house was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed our stay with family and friends. Definitely recommend this place for a large family.

The house was perfect for our party of 7 (5 adults & 2 children). The kitchen and eating area are huge and well laid out, with plenty of seating. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality cookware in a variety of sizes, lots of flatware, drink ware, and plates/bowls/etc. The gas cook stove and oven were great for meal prep and there was lots of space on the big island for everyone to help out.
The living room area is large and very open with a huge couch that accommodated all of us at once. The gas fireplace to the side was nice too. The outside decks are wonderful, again with loads of seating.
The bedrooms are comfortable and the master suite is huge, with a door to the back deck. Light sleepers in the master should probably ask the upstairs guests not to flush if you’re trying to sleep in as it’s noticeably loud.
A couple of reviews mentioned spiders. We saw none nor were there any spiderwebs. The only wildlife we saw were the local deer who visited daily, including a group of 7 the morning we left.
All of us including the kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is well located and very comfortable without being fancy. Someone from the management company came by proactively to change out the batteries in the door lock because they got an alert that they were running low; obviously we appreciated that as well.
Finally, being able to check out at 11:00 was great and we lucky to be able to check in early as well.

This property was perfect for our group dynamic and purpose! With several booking options this was the best priced, best location, and best bed set up for 10 adults that are friends, majority singles lol. Host was always available, friendly, prompt, and accommodating! You couldn’t ask for more when booking!!!

Let me start with the fact that the house itself is great. The wood beams and the patios are great. The kitchen is very well stocked (although a full sized coffee pot would be a good idea).
But, here is the bad part. Lots of spiders. When I first entered the house, I felt I walked through several spider webs. Then when we had to kill several of them. I felt as though the place needed to have an exterminator. The carpet could also use a to be cleaned.
Secondly, there is NO CABLE TV, only streaming. So if you do not have a You Tube TV subscription, you cannot watch college football on Saturday of the NFL on Sunday, this sucked. They should have the dish or cable for a house this size and at this price.
The fireplace and covered outdoor patio are really nice. Sitting outside when it is raining is a nice feature. We enjoyed the house, we just wish we knew there was no TV, because we probably would not have rented it.

Amazing house- Comfy beds, love the views from the patio and office.
My issues with our stay are all with the property management company. After booking, they accidentally sent me the itemized fees for our stay. They charge you over 50% more in fees per night than the rate listed so expect your total stay will be 2X than what you think it will be. I called VRBO directly about this and they said these charges seemed exceptionally high but this was all managed by the host who uses their own software.
We stayed 3 nights and there were only 2 adults and one toddler yet we got billed for an extra person even though this house sleeps 13!! They also make you pay an HOA fee along with other steep additional charges that are typically bundled so guests can't see them.
It was too late to cancel and we were looking forward to getting out of the heat so we still proceeded with our trip. I had told my toddler that we would be able to go mini golfing and swimming at Bear Paw Recreation Center and that was all he could talk about! When we arrived at Bear Paw we were told that they no longer offer day passes and haven't for over 3 years (it says otherwise on the picture on this listing) but if the property management company called and told them we were renting they would let us in. When I communicated this to the property management company they said they could not accommodate us unless we were staying for 7 nights. Ridiculous after the misleading picture and charging us for HOA!!

Overall our stay at the house was wonderful. The location was very convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. We did have a few issues with the toilets in the bathrooms that required someone to come out and repair along with the fire pit, but the host was very responsive. The only issue there were numerous spiderwebs behind blinds and/or on the ceilings. Deeper clean is probably needed. Also, their were not any spices on hand (ie salt and pepper) when cooking.

Very comfortable place that was perfect for our needs. Great neighborhood for quiet guests who want to escape the summer heat. For those of us that need to work, the office space was great. Smart TV in living room and master bedroom. Will be back again.

We enjoyed staying a week while sightseeing in the area. The house had just about everything needed. Nice patio with lots of seating and gas fire pit. Deer joined us in the back yard from time to time. This was a clean house and comfortable. We recommend highly.

Didn't spend much time in the house as we were hiking a lot. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Awesome hand carved wood accents throughout. No complaints, would stay there again.

We had a great time. The house was perfect. The only thing I did not like was the noise in the master bedroom. When someone flushes the toilet upstairs, you can hear it in the master bedroom. I don't mean a bit noisy I mean it sounds like the ceiling is going to fall down and water will fall all over the place. But other than that it was a great place to stay and it was beautiful!
