A charming house in a beautiful village. Perfect stay to relax and to do excursions in the surrounding area. The house offers many retreats for all family members.

My friend and I stayed in this villa in 2015 and wanted to return. We invited 5 friends to join us and we had the most wonderful week. The villa is just wonderful—comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner outside under the arbor drinking local wine from a nearby Seillans winery. The hosts recommended several day trips to us that we enjoyed so much. I highly recommend this villa and I hope to return someday soon. I would love to rent it for more than one week!

This old charming big house in perfect location (centre of medieval small town) became home for a week for our big company of 12 people: three families with small children. Best things: pool, lots of space, many dishes and glasses, all the equipment you need, amazing views from the windows. So the stay was very comfortable. Things to keep in mind: no air conditioner (upper floors were warm, but there were air fans in each room), lots of stairs, smell of an old house. Best for those who are looking for authentic experience, Provance feeling. Managers are very friendly, easy speak in english, react fast if you have a problem. Overall, we all realllly liked this villa. We made lots of good memories there :)

Always great to be back in our favorite villa in beautiful Seillans. This was our 10th time here and as always we enjoyed every aspect of the property, especially the perfect location overlooking the pétanque courts, our favorite restaurant,La Gloire de mon Pere, and the village itself. With plenty of bedrooms for everyone and the large dining room, it's always the ideal place for our large group of friends. We can't wait to return next year.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is big with lots of bedrooms and three full baths. The best part was the outdoor bbq and covered patio. If you have any mobility issues, beware that there are steps everywhere on every level. The village was disappointing. It is beautiful but not much there. Owner and property manager were great.

Fabulous week spent with family which was well worth the long wait !(booked in 2019 but delayed by covid ) . Thanks to Andy for allowing us to delay our visit. Lovely comfortable house with secluded garden and pool in beautiful village of Seillans with great views from all aspects. Our party included 7 adults and 7 children aged 1-13yrs and everyone loved it . Thank you Andy and Lisa

We visited this property 11 years ago for my 50th Birthday and had the best time, so coming back I was glad to see everything remained the same and the experience once more was everything we'd hoped for. Andy is an exceptional host , his communication and helpfulness is 1st class.
let's hope it isn't another 11 years before we're back.

So wonderful to be back at our second "home" in beautiful Seillans! The villa is ideally situated in the village, walking distance to restaurants, a 10 minute drive to wineries, and across from the pétanque courts. With 7 bedrooms, beautiful pool and very pleasant terraces we could hang out together or find a quiet area for some alone time. We have already booked our 2023 return and can't wait to get back! Wonderful property.

We stayed in this beautiful home with two families: a total of 4 adults, 4 adolescents/teenagers, 2 teenagers and 2 kids. It worked out perfectly. The house and garden are large enough for all of us to spend time alone, or with each other. To swim, to play table tennis, to read a book in the garden, to FaceTime with friends in one of the sitting rooms somewhere in the house, to stroll around in the lovely town or just sit on the upper terrace of the house and enjoy the view. The pool is a great plus and safely fenced off, the younger kids (7 years) could go and get bread at the bakery in town on their own(traffic is low and slow), it was just perfect. We found the house offered everything we needed: we were able to cook for 12 people, we used the barbecue several times, and there were some great restaurants at walking distance. We stayed during a very warm week, but the walls of the house are thick, there are shutters everywhere, and in each bedroom there was a fan, so even the bedrooms on the top floor were rather comfortable, we slept well. The outside terrace of the restaurant just next to the house can be a bit lively on a weekend evening - but that stops before midnight, and church bells may wake you up on Sunday morning. Nevertheless, we found that to be part of the wonderful experience of being in the center of such a lovely historic town. Day trips to Nice(<1hr), Gorges du Blavet (30 mins)and Lac de Saint Cassien (20 mins) made our vacation complete.

It is a wonderful house in a great surrounding. We all enjoyed it to be so close to the beautiful village Seillans. We would always book the house again.

We spent a week's autumn holiday in this beautiful house with our family of three generations, and we loved everything about this place. The location in the village is just stunning, it has a great private garden with a pool that was still warm enough in October to take a refreshing dive here and there. The house itself is tastefully decorated, spacious enough for 10 to 12 persons, and equipped with everything that you could possibly wish for.
We would like to thank Andrew and Lisa for the pleasant communication and helpful information, and Sarah Jane for her warm welcome at the house. And of course we would love to come back very soon!

All in all, everyone was very pleased! The description of the house is accurate but the pool areas is much nicer (and very safe for small kids) than the pictures show. Highly recommend it!
The contact with Andy before the stay and with Sarah (the guardian) during the time in Seillans made us feel very welcome and taken care of!

This is our extended family's second visit here, and the place retains all its charms.
The old, roomy house has lots of personality and is a perfect fit for us (three families with kids plus a set of grand parents): Big kitchen, dining room inside, plus equally large dining area outside, balcony for rose in the evenings, living room with couches and wifi, a number of bedrooms. The pool is big and deep enough for the adults to jump in and have fun with the kids.
The house is located in the most picturesque village in a completely magical location: At once at the edge of town (from the garden you see only the untouched countryside towards the top of the hill) AND smack in the middle (the front of the house has views over the beautiful town square with its splashing fountain and its incredible restaurant, La Gloire de Mon Pere - with a decent baby alarm you can dine out while your kids are fast asleep inside the house). And Seillans has a number of other excellent restaurants and just walking around the winding steps and alleyways of the town to discover them - and a number of galleries - is a pleasure.
The surrounding area offers pedal boats and water slides in the lake, numerous lovely villages with interesting markets and vineyards with local wine and olive oil.
The landlord and his representative are both very quick to answer any questions and very accommodating. Thank you!
I highly doubt we'll find anywhere to compete with this perfect gem, which is mostly booked solid - which makes me almost hesitate to leave this review. But the place certainly deserves it.

This wonderful old house has a lot of atmosphere, charm and style. We also loved the garden, specially the swimmingpool area and dining places. The central position in Seillans was a great advantage and with great views. We fully enjoyed our stay here and would like to come back.

Impressive 17th century house, sat within minutes of a charming bar and restaurant. a couple of minutes from the bakery (pan depot) with wonderful views across the valley. Easy parking opposite the house. Plenty of room to socialise of escape. Big garden with shade under the olive trees. Nice pool and a choice of places to eat.

Our family group of 12 has just returned from a heavenly holiday in Seillans. The house is so roomy and flexible, well equipped and comfortable, it's easy for all ages,18 months to 76 years in our case, as well as being beautifully located in a beautiful village amongst beautiful villages. When we could bear to leave the pool, we enjoyed eating out, specially at the Auberge Provencale in Mons, snorkelling in the Isles de Lerins off Cannes and water play at the Lac de St-Cassien. Oh, and the markets, those at Fayence, specially. But mostly we just spent our time enjoying the house and garden and pool. Thank you to you Andy, and all your family. I hope we can come again.

We spent a wonderful week here during August. The property is in the heart of this charming village which has a great atmosphere and lovely restaurants. The house is beautiful and well equipped - the children particularly enjoyed the pool, table tennis and table football - and there is loads of space for the whole family to relax. The area is great for day trips to either the mountains or the coast, and also very close to Lake Cassein for pedalos and paddle boarding fun. If you prefer to stay dry then one of Europe’s top resort courses, Terra Blanche, is also nearby. There is something for everyone here. Highly recommended.

After a busy week in Paris, our stay here was a lovely counterpoint. Relaxing by the pool, walking in the village, and exploring the countryside. The house is wonderful for several families (lots of space to spread out), games and puzzles for the rainy days (had a couple during our stay), big area for everybody to eat - both inside and out, ate fresh figs and grapes from the property. Felt so french to walk into the village to get baguettes for breakfast. Property is nicely located to be able to do several day trips in the area; hilltop villages, Monte Carlo, the beaches, hiking, rafting the "grand canyon" of France. Shops close enough to get groceries easily and kitchen nicely set up to cook dinners. Highly recommend for a great family holiday!

We had a delightful holiday in Seillan in May. The villa has true character in a stunning location - you really feel part of the amazing historic village. The house had a remarkable family feel which we enjoyed from the start, and children in particular loved the wide staircases and different levels especially the table football tucked away in the original entrance hall on the lowest level! And of course screams of joy rang from the swimming pool whenever we were home!
I can honestly say that the listing description is accurate, the property was very clean and well maintained, there was brilliant "customer service" - with excellent information made available though an app we could put on the i-phone. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend or to family - and to you as you are reading this!

Such a beautiful house in the most perfect location. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing week. Avoid travelling to the beaches ... just enjoy the local area. Worth doing a trip to Gore du Verdon though.

This is a fantastic house - especially for big groups - in a wonderful setting. We loved the garden with its many different terraces and corners. The pool was great and a highlight for the children. Every morning we went across the street to pick up delicious fresh bread, croissants and pain au chocolat from the friendly lady at the bakery. Probably the biggest compliment we can give this house is, despite the fact that it is located in an area with an abundance to discover, see and do, it was very difficult to get members of our group out of the house, out of the garden, out of the pool! One last remark: the owner, Andy, was very helpful and accommodating in his communications with us; he created a "good feeling" from the very first email exchange.

We were completely smitten, not only by the village of Seillans, the surrounding area, but by the Villa itself. As a group of 13, there could have been any number of different experiences, but ALL agreed, this was a most magical vacation, in an extraordinary area AND housed in a warm, comfortable, French Provincial countryside manor. Andy and his family made us feel welcomed as family from beginning to end. I hope to make this an annual affair! Beth Brewington

We had a really wonderful stay in this gorgeous house in Seillans. Both house and village were even better than we'd expected - and we'd had high hopes. Lots to do and see in the area, fabulous walks in all directions leaving from the village, the boulangerie was a short walk down the hill. Everything worked for our party of 12, aged from 14 to 60 and we had a fabulous stay.

Stayed at this wonderful property with some friends in the lead up to my wedding in the next village. Was perfect. The feel of a country house with fab pool, great garden, with lots of nooks and crannies to escape if needs be, yet in the middle of the most beautiful village so no need to jump in the car to get bread, visit the lovely restaurants or wander the pretty streets. Have no hesitation in recomending it to others. Book it and enjoy !

3 generations of our family(5 children and 5 adults) spent 14 wonderfull days in the villa at Seillans. every detail of the promotion of this accommodation was accurate and , for me, exceeded expectations. impecably clean and well maintained, the location exceptional for dining , exploring and relaxing. i will bore my friends to death with my stories of this stay and could not really note any dislikes. our 5 year old grand daughter wrote in her daily diary"today i lived in a beautiful house".

This is a fantastic character building, on the edge of an atmospheric medieval village. It is very spacious, in good order throughout, and fitted with high quality furnishings. The garden is large, laid out on multiple levels with terraces providing plenty of scope for outdoor dining, and while on the edge of the village, feels quite secluded and private.
Seillans is a pretty village, without ever feeling too touristy. A boulangerie is a couple of minutes walk down through the village - ideal for early morning croissants and baguettes. There are two restaurants directly opposite - the chatter and bustle from these drifts up to the conservatory adding to the atmosphere in the house in the evening.
The house is well suited for anyone who wants to experience the character of Seillans - everything is a short walk away. If you're looking for total peace and quiet you would be better off looking for a villa deep in the woods, but this I think would be missing out on everything on offer in the village.
There are plenty of opportunities for activities and day trips in the surrounding area. Walking is well catered for, there are a number of marked trails in the area, with leaflets produced by the local tourist office.
The owner was helpful, and always responded to queries promptly. The local guardian was friendly and accommodating, dealing with our unusual arrival and departure times without problem.
In all, Seillans is a good base for exploring the surrounding area, the house itself a really atmospheric location from which to experience it.

The property and village suppassed our expectations!
All descriptions regarding location, layout and facilities were very accurate. The property easily accommodated our number of 10 in all areas: pool side; indoor and outdoor dining; and lounge.
We found the property to be very clean and well maintained with plenty of helpful information about the workings of the property and things to do and see in the surrounding area.
We found the owners and repersentative who greeted us to be very helpful and prompt!
I would highly recommend this property to friends and would hope to return again.

We were a larger group from various destinations meeting up to celebrate a year of 'significant' birthdays. The house was everything described on this website and more!
The house is located towards the top of the village, and has a lovely outlook over the hills and valleys. It is roomy and extremely well-equipped, making it very simple just to settle in and not worry about anything. Parking is very conveniently located just across the road.
There are lots of delightful spots inside and out to while away the hours - the fruiting fig tree and grapevine were a big hit! If you have a need for exercise, the pool is refreshing, or there are many walks in the neighbouring countryside. We did a walk down to the bories, and another day walk over to Fayence.
The villa and Seillans truly exceeded all expectations, and we were just thrilled to be there. I can't recommend it enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home, which accommodated our group of 7 beautifully. The garden, pool, and terraces were a lovely way to enjoy the Provencal views. A quiet reading room off the dining room provided a nice space for morning yoga. Seillans is a very picturesque and friendly village and we had a great time walking in the surrounding hills.

We had a fabulous time in Seillans, the house was brilliant for a large party.
It was furnished beautifully throughout, with everything we required.
Aurelie (the housekeeper) was on hand if we needed her.
The boys spent the whole week playing ping pong on the terrace, whilst the girls lazed in the sun loungers and wished the house was theirs!!
Such a great house for 'hanging out' in that we didn't do an awful lot of sight seeing! But we did enjoy walking around the town and generally pottering around. Will have to come back again and venture further afield!
Would highly recommend this property to anybody. Andy and Lisa were hugely helpful, easy drive from Nice airport, great French cheese, cheap wine, stunning surroundings - we'll be back!!!
