We all really enjoyed our stay. The view was gorgeous and we all had plenty of room. The yard was perfect for our dog and the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have stayed at. We had a great time and I’m sure we will stay here again!

Plenty of room, nice grass lawn, right on canal - minutes to beach. Clean. Very well stocked. Be aware it is actually 2 units that don't connect on the inside. Would definitely stay again!

The manager always responded quickly. This house has a bonus a pedaling board and a canoe , which you can use it. We definitely enjoyed to stay in the house .
Just be attention, they do not provide the towel and linen bed .

The location of this property was just perfect for us. It was very quiet, right on the bay and the sunset's were amazing. It was just a short drive to get to the beach. There was a total of eleven of us (ages 2-57). There was something for everyone. The house was clean and roomy stocked with everything you need. Thank you for allowing my family to stay at your beautiful home. We can’t wait to return next year!

Property was fantastic to stay at. Lots of room to play in.

Nice home on a channel with good views of the Pamlico Sound. Has just about everything you need for your stay. All modern appliances. What’s in the description will be there when you arrive.
I would recommend ceiling fans in the bedrooms, as the air conditioning system, modern as it is, can’t keep up with the cooling requirements in the hotter months.

Great beach house right on the sound which location our family loves. Our kids had a blast fishing and boating off the dock, the sunset views are outstanding, great sunroom for morning coffee and feeling the breeze, lots of fun water toys all in a secluded setting off the main road. The house is laid off perfect for us. Very clean and plenty of room for all 9 of us to enjoy family time upstairs. The kids enjoyed sleeping downstairs in their own little apartment, upstairs the kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had. Perfect for cooking a few nights in. We will definitely stay here again!

Came down with our teenage kids, both sets of grandparents, and their dogs. Property was spacious enough for all and had large family and kitchen area. Kitchen was well-equipped. Excellent sunset views.

Awesome house the pictures don’t do it justice. Location was perfect our families pull boats & having a marina right down the street was perfect. Would love to stay at this house again if & when we return to OBX.

This was the perfect house for me and my adult children while we were there for my son's wedding. It was a clean comfortable house on the water. Spacious enough to accommodate everyone, with great space for everyone to gather. We enjoyed it very much.

First of all, we had an amazing stay! The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their trip. The location is absolutely amazing and beautiful. The dead end road is very quiet and peaceful, even though its not far off hwy 12 traffic noise is very minimal and theres practically no traffic on the actual road the house is on.
Pros: beautiful home
Layout was perfect for our famiky(fair warning for those who may be travelling with elderly/handicapped, there is no avoiding stairs to enter the house, and the main house, kitchen, etc is located in the second story)
Road was quiet, very peaceful location with breathtaking views and sunsets
Well stocked kitchen
Two full size refridgerators
Cons
Sheets/towels are not provided. I found this very rude having travelled from Montana, and reading mixed reviews on them being provided, but aparently everyone in the area does it, and thus gets by with it. I did find in the ad where they warn you, after I got there late at night. You are not warned in the check in instructions. We did find enough sheets and towels left behind to scrape by the first night, most of which were in the laundry room dirty, and had to be washed first.
Also the listing is incorrect, the downstairs bedroom has a queen and twin NOT a full and twin, so if I had noticed in the ad in time to bring sheets they would have been the wrong size.
The house number is wrong, im not sure if its to trick GPS into getting you to the right location or what. That is commom in MT, but generally specific instructions are given with the correct address to get you the rest of the way there, and eliminate confusion on arrival.
The house was filthy, we spent our entire first day cleaning and sorting out bedding and towels. It was hidden filthy; and by that I mean things like, what's that smell?, random dirty dishes in the cabinet, mold on the shower curtain, floors needed a good sweep and mop... Things that are easily overlooked by cleaning crews in too big of a hurry. The owners did apologise and refund our cleaning fee, which we appreciated greatly. It was obviously a fluke, the house and grounds are very well maintained and cared for.
Overall it is one of my favorite houses and locations Ive ever staid, just plan to get there earlier and more prepared than we did to make beds etc.

The place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view! unfortunately there were no sheets or pillow cases on most the pillows and beds. Stuff left in freezer and bikini left in the bathroom. Other than that we had a great stay and had the best view!

We had a dream of a stay at this house - the views are astounding- from the second (main) floor, you feel as if you are floating in the sound- the water surrounds on many side. The wind is strong at times- but we loved it. The house is very clean and has been updated such that the furniture is modern and stylish. There is a sunroom that looks over the sound with large windows that easily slide open to create a most amazing breeze. The ground floor has its own entire suite with two separate bedrooms, a living space, kitchen and bathroom which was perfect for my older son and his wife to have their own space. Even though we visited in December, the weather was balmy and we ate outside at the picnic table (there are many places to sit outside).
We fished and kayaked and visited several local walking trails and the great local beaches that the area has to offer both toward the end of the island and the lighthouse.
We made most of our meals at home as the kitchen is very well-equipped. Conners is a great market for food.
The washer and dryer work great through they are accessed outside through a backdoor in the exterior of the house.
We enjoyed Tavern on the 12 for dinner to go a couple of times.
Couldn't recommend this house any higher. We had no need to reach out to the owner- the stay was smooth and easy. We brought our own sheets and bath towels, which we were glad to do- but were pleasantly surprised to find a supply of both at the house (of course bring your own beach towels).
We'll be back! Bravo to the owners.

Our group of 5 had a terrific week at this well-equipped house. The upstairs is comfortable and attractive with great wifi, the downstairs is a little more rustic but amenable. The views of the sound are lovely and we saw lots of wildlife. We brought our own tandem kayak and enjoyed the easy access to Haulover. We shopped at Buxton Seafood and grilled 2 nights. This location was perfect for exploring Hatteras and Ocracoke, and I'd go back in a heartbeat!

The location was great. The house is situated waterfront with a large open yard off of a private gravel drive, so no traffic outside the home. Nice paved driveway, deep water dock and good amount of outdoor seating. The dock was a little to deep to comfortably put our kayaks and SUP in the water because it was a pretty big drop from the dock to the water, but there is a swim ladder to easily climb in and out of. Nice outdoor shower and beautiful views. We liked the divided spaces which allowed for privacy. Upstairs is the main level 3 bedrooms (2Q in 2 rooms and set of twins in 3rd bedroom) 1 full bath with tub & shower in hallway and 1 full bath with only shower attached to 1 Q bedroom. Large family room & well appointed kitchen and beautiful large open sunroom ( my favorite spot in the house). Downstairs is a kitchenette, 1 full bathroom and 2 bedrooms with 1 king anf the other bedroom 1 twin and 1 full. As previous reviews mentioned the King mattress is very firm.
The owner was easy to contact and responded kindly and quickly to all inquiries.
We loved our stay and would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is considering. This property or location. It is by far our most favorite place we’ve stayed in frisco/hatteras area

Was given the wrong property address on Vrbo email,, thankfully it was the house right beside the lot. But after that confusion everything was great, had a wonderful trip!

This house is beautiful and in a wonderful location. We had two families together with pre-teens and teenagers. Everyone had plenty of space and options to kayak in the sound, play yard games or card games together on the huge kitchen table and sun porch area. We went to the beach everyday and highly recommend getting a permit to drive on the beach. It was amazing to be able to pile everything and everyone into your vehicles, including our yellow lab and not worry about the hot sand for his paws. We went back in the late afternoon and evening a few times and enjoyed the ocean waves again and a beach fire with s’mores for the kids! We had spectacular weather and enjoyed all that this house and the OBX had to offer! The updates upstairs were beautiful and made the trip truly a home away from home. A full size coffee pot and a Keurig is in the kitchen, so you can enjoy your coffee on the deck overlooking the sound. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. When you pack your bed sheets and towels, don’t forget a hand towel or two! We will definitely come again to this beautiful home on the sound.

Loved the location of this property - right on the sound. Despite getting over 8.5" of rain this week, there were enough breaks to put the kayaks and SUP in and to fish. The property is not far from the beach and the lighthouse which we were also able to visit. It was convenient to grocery stores and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bonus was being able to walk to get delicious fudge!

This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, the house was perfect for us. There were 2 sets of grandparents and 2 couples with 4 children and we had plenty of room. The house and location worked well for us, just make sure you ask where the best beach access is from the house. It took us a couple days to figure out what worked for us. We enjoyed the beach at Cape Hatteras Light House.

We absolutely loved this house. The dock was used every day as we put the kayaks and SUP in the water and enjoyed to Sound. The house itself is fantastic, the pictures do not do it justice. Watching sunsets on the top deck were a favorite for us as well as the Florida room with the windows open provided an amazing breeze and a ton of time spent relaxing and enjoying the evenings. The house comes fully stocked with everything you'd expect in a vacation rental. The only issue we could come up with was the King Size bed in the downstairs unit was extremely FIRM which may be great for some but was a bit much for us. Since that is the only King bed in the house, we gladly dealt with it.
We spent a lot of time at the local establishments including restaurants, shops and the Scotch Bonnet (for the BEST fudge you've ever had). The town is small, quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We will certainly be back in the future!!

Our trip consisted of myself, my husband, our two young children, my sister, brother-in-law, teenaged nephew, my parents, and three dogs. This was our first trip together in over a year due to the pandemic. The property owner responded quickly to all questions and messages, and provided excellent recommendations for food nearby. Check-in was easy and we were able to immediately get going on our trip plans.
The house had been updated since the pictures we first saw on VRBO and the upgrades were really lovely. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out, plenty of bathrooms for everyone to get ready in the morning, and the yard was the perfect size to run all three of the dogs. House was clean and well-maintained.
The home is located at the end of a quiet street and there is very easy access to pretty much anything you would want to do in the Outer Banks. We cooked a lot, but there are plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
A few heads ups: 1) The coffee maker is a Keurig. We didn't realize that until we got there and ended up buying a cheap 12-Cup from the dollar store so we could use the coffee we brought with us. 2) There is plenty of parking, but only space for one vehicle in the enclosed garage.
Neither of the above items were an issue for us, but wanted to provide a heads up to future visitors. We had a fantastic time at this property and will definitely stay there again!

Booking and check in were super easy. A great house in a quiet location. We were close to the beach but could fish and kayak in the sound right from the house. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time the house contained everything we needed for our stay! Easy access to pamlico sound and marina is literally right down the street. Sightseeing was good the ocean was a bit strong especially for small children so we found beaches along pamlico sound side for them to play in. The big kids enjoyed Kayak and paddleboard they played in canal on them. Surf fishing was good when you found a decent spot like the tip of the island but we were shocked when we had to pay to drive on beach which costed 50.00 for a OPV permit, but it did make things alot easier but a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle is your best option for that we did see alot of people get stuck. All in all house met our expectations no issues there and most importantly everybody got to relax and we will do it again.

This is truly a great place! my family, dog and my best friends family stayed at Mr. Foley' place for 5 nights. The house had everything we needed to feel right at home, from all water toys, to tv's, games, a huge ice machine and a great kitchen where everyone was able to gather every night. Very clean and well kept. The house is right on the canal on the sound side of the island and here's a boat ramp about 1/2 a block up from the house, very convenient for boat/fishing lovers. The location is 6 miles from Cape Hatteras lighthouse and 3 miles from beach access. We were able to take the free ferry to Ocracoke island and bike ride to Cape Hatteras. Truly a fantastic vacation. Mr Foley was very polite and prompt to answer any questions and concerns. We definitely be back next year! Gina

The reality of this house is better than the listing! We were in Frisco primarily to fish. The house has a first class dock facility and a marina 200 yards away to put your boat in. It has an ICE MACHINE! If you fish, you know how valuable that is! The deck space is nice, and generally in the lee of the wind. The house is really right on the sound, and the kids loved the kayaks.
The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The common spaces are large and comfortable. The front room is AWESOME! There is nearly a constant breeze that makes it comfortable just about all the time. The upper level kitchen is modern and well equipped. There is a small, lower level kitchen too...we just used it for the 2nd refrigerator. The garage was really nice...particularly to bring your stuff in and stage it for moving in and out. Nice new propane grill.
The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home!

As all of our family came down and stayed for the week we throughly enjoyed this great house. We looked at alot of other houses that had alot more amenties but what we found out that the location makes a vacation. My family had a great time catching many fish off the dock. And kayaking in the canal and the sound was great. And what was the best thing of all was that we could tie up our boat right to the dock right behind the house. It was nice, clean, and well maintained. VERY LIVEABLE. For a family or families this is a great house to rent.
