Our stay was great, the house and grounds were perfect for our group of 19. Lots of space, very well equipped. Ideally, we would've liked the pool to have been available.

After our summer 2020 plans to Africa were cancelled we found this gem in Cote d'Opale. It was a wonderful find, the weather was magnificent and the house well equipped for our large group (we were 17 but there was still space for more). The place was close enough to home, that friends could come for short time and the hosts were extremely accommodating, arranging for fresh linen as our guests changed. The area is fascinating with loads to do - from history to beaches , or just staying at the house, playing pétanque and having long summer barbecues. A magic 10 days, and still lots to discover! I led a group of 21 to a stay here. Everyone raves about the beauty of the home and the landscape. The owner is extremely kind and provided everything we needed. I would have stayed here longer had I known how relaxing it would be! Thank you for an outstanding time!

This house is such a wonderful place. It was better than we expected and the hosts, Suzy and Bernard, are absolutely reliable, caring and lovely! The interior of the house is so well conceived. Especially for a bigger group of people. The park around the house welcomes you with old trees, flowers and the terrace invites you to have a rest outside with the group. Also the barbecue had the perfect size, as we were a group of 23 people to celebrate my 40's bday. The kids had much fun in the park and also the field for playing boules was in use. Enough spaces to park cars in the shadow as well. As I said, this beautiful little piece of paradise is very well-conceived...

Most enjoyable. The house is lovely but more bedroom storage e.g. Wardrobes, drawers, would have been appreciated. We were also surprised by the lack of mirrors. Wonderful garden.

A group of 14 of us stayed in here for a week and the photos do not do the place justice. The property was clean and well maintained. We had a problem with a dishwasher blowing the fuse but this problem was sorted out quickly. Rooms and bathrooms well laid out and plenty of room in the grounds to play. Lots of attractions nearby and even a trip into Belgium did not take long. Close proximity to village shops also useful. We have been to a few larger properties and this was by far the best in terms of layout and facilities. Definitely thinking of coming back again!

Nous avons aimé les grands espaces ,le sobre,le beau.Vu le printemps,nous avons surtout vécu à l'extérieur dans ce splendide parc aux arbres centenaires,jouissant de toutes les nuances de vert et rouge et des fleurs.Nous avons cuisiné ensemble dans la grande cuisine bien aménagée et pourvue de tout le nécessaire. Notre plus jeune fille veut absolument revenir à cet endroit , de préférence avec quelques degrés Celsius en plus

Nous avons passé un EXCELLENT weekend, le Château est très convivial, avec beaucoup d'espace et surtout le jardin, ce fut le paradis pour les enfants (en fait ils étaient toujours occupés dehors). L'infrastructure était vraiment faite pour nous, même le chauffage était de mise si la température baissait et étions surpris de ce confort fort agréable. Très facile d'accès, parking privé pour 8 voitures, possibilité de décharger la voiture devant la porte d'entrée sans difficulté (un must quand il y a bébés et enfants en bas âge avec tout le déménagement que cela suscite). Domaine superbement entretenu. Les lieux étaient propres avec du linge de toilette en quantité. La literie de bonne qualité ainsi que les draps très doux. Nous n'avons pas grand chose à dire quant aux attractions extérieures car sommes restés dans la propriété, tout y était pour le bonheur des petits et grands. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour tout évènement familiaux ou entre amis, dans un cadre paisible où rien ne manque. Merci :)

The photos do not do the chateau justice. It is huge! and the rooms are very large as well. The village is unusually busy - two cafes- two boulangeries etc. Nearby lots to do- I would recommend Randorail in Nielles, borrow a donkey for a day at Ergny (10km south) and it can carry your pic nic, the V1 V2 rocket launching site near St Omer is very interesting and for a lazy day on the river hire a boat from Isnor. You will not be disappointed in the chateau - there is a reason why everyone gives it 5 stars

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week end en famille pour les 20 ans de mon filleul. La maison est somptueuse, confortable, très bien équipée, la décoration raffinée, les photos ne sont qu'un pâle reflet de la magnificence et de l'élégance du lieu. Les propriétaires se sont montrés très arrangeants, disponibles et ont toujours répondu rapidement et avec gentillesse à toutes nos interrogations et nos demandes. Vous pouvez également leur faire confiance si comme nous, vous avez besoin de connaître les bonnes adresses des environs. Nous n'avons eu que de bonnes surprises, notre crainte était d'avoir froid dans cette imposante maison car il avait neigé dans la semaine mais en arrivant il y régnait une douce chaleur. Les commercants de Nielles ont été également très serviables et d'une grande amabilité. Je ne peux que vous souhaiter d'avoir la chance de passer un week end ou une semaine au Bon Plaisir.

Pour la deuxième fois, nous avons passé un très agréable weekend dans cette superbe villa entourée de son magnifique parc. La villa est bien entretenue et très propre. Calme garanti. Propriétaires organisés, sympathiques et très discrets. Endroit idéal pour réunion de famille ou weekend entre copains.
