House was comfortable and cozy. Really out of the way from all the tourists. Loved hearing the creek at night. Would stay here again if in the area.

This property is absolutely breathtaking! The experience was amazing from the moment I booked, up until the very last moment. My family and I are ready to move to town after our stay. Communication was wonderful and the host was extremely helpful in all matters. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful location on a secluded gravel road. House very well maintained. Host was extremely responsive.

The whole property is beautiful and breathtaking. The creek is so peaceful and such a hidden gem. The house was great and the best location for us visiting family. We all had the best time and looking forward to staying again in the future!

We totally enjoyed getting lost in the mountains in this beautifully magical cabin. Enjoyed
the privacy, the hot tub, the creek and fishing!! Thank you!

Loved this as a quick getaway for the weekend. The running water is so peaceful and the screened in porch was a great hangout space. The windows in the living room are fantastic and the master bed upstairs was beautiful.

Wonderful rustic cabin. Would be great for families with kids.

Very secluded short distance to Blairsville highly recommend

This location was perfect for us. We had just a few requirements: a stream, a fire pit, a hot tub, and not too close to anyone else. This property hit all the marks.
We loved reading on the patio, listening to the stream rush past. The kids loved the air hockey table, and skipping stones in the stream. Not to mention the hammock over the stream.
We'll be back.

We had a nice stay. Here are my honest thoughts:
PROS
-Great communication w/ host
-Easy check-in
-Property is beautiful, creek is really nice
-Loved the firepit
-Nice deck, loved the hot tub
CONS
-Really windy highway to get there, tough if you get carsick
-No dishwasher (the VRBO description says there is one)
-Tough to get a comfortable temp, with the heat on 67 the back bedroom is uncomfortably hot while the rest of the house is still cold
-Downstairs game room/laundry room doesn't smell great.
Overall, we had a nice stay. Loved seeing the stars at night!
4.8
We had a wonderful time. Property was nice and clean. The front door was challenging a time or two. But we would rent again.

I loved the visit and I think if I ever stay in North GA again I will be staying here. Beautiful horses on the property, scenic and beautiful, hot tub, pool table, fireplace and a nice kitchen! I had a wonderful time

This was our first Christmas away from home and we could not have found a better place. It was gorgeous and quiet. The horses were incredible! They were just out and about! It was peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for an amazing time!

Stayed with two adults and two kids (9&5). Amazing place with plenty of space. The outdoors area was really nice. We hung out by the creek and made a fire. Walked around and fed the horses. Stayed for 5 days and only left to get groceries once.
4.8
Enjoyed being back in the woods. Surrounded by trees and listening to the water flowing through the creek. Loved the screened in porch.

We loved the cabin. Problems... Lighting. Several lights were blown, but we changed what we could reach. We could have called property management; however we chose not to do so that's on us. The refrigerator is poorly situated. It's a side by side and it's very difficult to get anything in the freezer. This kitchen would be better served by a freezer on top.
Now for the good stuff! It's beautiful. Was extremely clean and had almost everything you need for a stay away from home. Right down to the paper towels! The hot tub was awesome. My son enjoyed the pool table and we made use of the washer dryer.
The property is beautiful. We used the porches, the grill and the fire pit down by the river. My son and his girlfriend even used the hammock stretched across the river (creek). There was so much to explore on the property.
A lovely pasture had several horses that were fun to watch. I wish we could have rented for a ride. They were beautiful.
We did hear coyotes. The sound is beautiful yet ominous.
We absolutely plan to rent this cabin again next fall. We loved it.

You cant control the weather. Even though it rained most of the trip, I would return again and again, rain or shine. This place is a one in a million and i wish i lived here permanently.

We get to the place and we find out that it's all dirt roads but that part was not too bad because my husband has a truck but i didn't see that in the description of the property. They could give people a heads up. I cook, we don't go out to eat as much. Kitchen light didn't work. I go to the bedroom, the closet light on the bottom floor is out. We looked for the washer and dryer on Sunday. So, I went downstairs. As soon as I opened the door, that room smelled like rats. TERRIBLE SMELL. There is no way anyone can stay on that floor washing and drying with that smell. I look for rentals that have washers and dryers because we work the next day and I don't want to do that late at night the day before I go to work the next morning. So, we had to leave early to go wash. I tried to take my dogs out so they can run and play but the backyard has overgrown, you can't go out to the hammock and table outside in that type of yard. I know it's the mountains and you can expect that before going I read the reviews where dogs can play in the yard, run around on the property. That part where the hammock and table are by the creek is nice and families would have a nice time in that area if it was clean. The back porch has 4 HUGE piles of turds. The king size bed goes down on the head area and up on the feet so we go to use the twin beds and they are very very hard, those 3 beds are very uncomfortable. I notified these people just for their information but this is all i got;

The property was amazing! The creek and fields were fun to explore and feeding the horses was very neat.
Will stay here again.

Perfect place to get away

This house exceeded our expectations! We had no idea there was a game room in the basement, the kids were so excited to find while exploring. This place is secluded, which is what we loved most. The children loved playing in the river, and the weather was lovely. Cold, rainy, and sunshine! The horses gazing in the mornings and evenings was magical. Bring carrots! Truly a wonderful stay for 5 nights, and so sad we had to leave. Many blessings! Thank you so much for having us!

Nice little cabin

The Riverhouse in Suches is one of our favorite places in North Georgia!. The house is charming and comfortable. It has a spacious screen porch overlooking Suches creek which winds, splashes and sparkles through the surrounding woods and pastures. It is a lovely property with plenty of privacy and 130 acres to explore. Don’t miss the shops at Suches Life, just a mile away from Canaan Valley Rd. There are other places to discover, so try out the “16 on 60” which has something for everyone!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The online pictures don’t do it and the surrounding property justice. We loved exploring the woods and creek that runs behind the cabin and along the property.
4.8
Everything is exactly as it is listed but when you drive up to the cabin everything just stops. The view is breathtaking as I look over my surroundings and the creek is a welcoming song that is so peaceful. We will return so that we can enjoy the hammock over the water.
Very clean but WiFi signal is not stable. The truth is it didn’t even matter because of how nice everything was.
4.8
Cabin was amazing, porch with swing even more amazing. We had enough room to all spread out and just relax. We had a great time! We will definitely be back!!
4.8
This place had all the things we were looking for: Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, decks with incredible views, trout streams, property to hike and even horses to feed carrots to. Would come back again and again. The hosts were very responsive and would highly recommend.
