We booked a dog friendly get away to be asked by the owner to please keep our dogs in a small section of the property (kitchen). They provided a barrier to the other ares, but they were easily knocked over by the dogs ( mini pinschers) so it was very stressful trying to keep them out. There as no outdoor fencing so the dogs could not access outside easily.
The cottage had no keys for locking. The owner could access any time they pleased. The electricity kept shorting out so the heating would go off and it was very cold for the dogs.
The cottage was clean, but it does need some updating and we felt it was oversold for what it was. The bed was comfy.
We decided not to stay for the last night as it was just too cold. The heaters they did have were dinky and inadequate. We decided to just go home.
I would not book this place again.
