## Neighborhood
Everything you will need is close to this place. The beach and lively boulevard are within 150 meters of walking distance. As well as the train station with direct connections to Haarlem and Amsterdam.
Zandvoort has something to offer almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, where you can have great food and drinks, to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter. Generally, all you need is close by and mostly within walking distance. So what are you looking for in your trip?
Two National Parks embed the village; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling the beach, those are two significant areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance, mountain biking around the race track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf, and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?
We also have a great race track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize many activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. So maybe you want to get your race license?
Last but not least, Zandvoort is also called "Amsterdam beach" because it's so close to Amsterdam. You can quickly get to Amsterdam by public transport, combining an exciting city trip with a relaxing getaway next to the beach.
## Transit
Zandvoort aan Zee has a train station. By train from Amsterdam Central station it takes about 30 minutes and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. Depending on your plans, public transport will get you around very well. We will share a handy website to plan your routes. Parking is paid almost everywhere in Zandvoort but you can pre-book a spot at the parking 'De Zuid' for a more affordable day rate. This parking is super close to this accommodation. We will send a link for this before your arrival.
