The Space:
Wildacre is a cosy, yet spacious cottage in the leafy outskirts of Bristol. Its immediate area feels like you’re nestled away in the rolling countryside, but so much of the city is at your fingertips. Drive to the historic Clifton Village in just 10 minutes, where you’ll cross Brunel’s iconic Suspension Bridge, a high-street of eclectic boutique shops and fantastic dining options.
The cottage is located on beautiful grounds, with a large grassy lawn and only greenery around. On warm nights, enjoy a glass of wine in the swinging chair with a good book in hand. In the evenings, take alfresco meals as the sun sets.
Inside, the cottage is made for hunkering down and relaxing. Characterful features are found in every room: from wooden beams, to slate floors, open fireplaces and exposed stone walls. The large kitchen-dining room is the perfect spot to rustle up home cooked meals - you’ll find everything you need and more. Then it’s over to the living room for board games or chatting next to the fire. Spanning all on one level, the bedrooms are found at the far end of the cottage. A master boasts a super-king bed, whilst the further rooms have a king and two singles. All have been kitted out with tasteful fittings and furnishings. From unique antique furniture to store all your clothes in, as well as pretty artwork and textiles. A family bathroom is shared by all with a bath and shower unit.
Well behaved dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2) - we may accept more on special request depending on the breed. It is also on the condition they are kept off sofas and beds, cleaned up after and not left in the property unattended.
Guest Access:

Additionally, there are some bus routes in the area that run directly into the city centre and surrounding areas.
Other Things to Note:
‘Parker’ the free-range peacock likes to wander the garden and guests may hear him announcing his presence from time to time in the summer…

We had such a lovely time staying in the cottage. It had everything you could need and was really clean and tidy. We stayed in December and the cottage was so warm and cosy. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you!

A tranquil and relaxing getaway which is just a stones throw from Clifton and Bristol centre. Cottage was characterful, clean and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed being able to view the wild life in the garden - resident fox and Parker the Peacock.as well as deer. As a family we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this haven.

This was the cutest little cottage ever. Perfect setting, wood burning fireplace, lovely yard, comfortable and clean. Cannot say enough about the Bike Shed coffee shop just down the road. If you want a beautiful and relaxing stay outside Bristol you need to stay here.
A slight hiccup in getting the check-in information but other than that a great experience!
