The house was very comfortable for 3 adults for 5 nights. The kitchen was small but had everything needed to prepare meals. We appreciated the AC since we weren’t used to heat and humidity. We Didn’t feel safe walking in the neighborhood. Would recommend this house to others. C and G from Minnesota

We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens, which ensured a good night's sleep. The house has an old-world charm, but it could benefit from some updates and maintenance to address its aging condition. The lotto/liquor store is across the busy street, which is only an issue if noise is a concern. We found the host to be accommodating and responsive. This cute place has alot of potential!

The home is charming and we enjoyed our stay. Centrally located and just 15 minutes to Fort Moore.

Nice house and clean. I appreciated that I could bring my small dog. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy, although I was glad there was a Dollar General within walking distance so we could pick up a few things we forgot.

Our stay was so lovely. We came for my oldest son’s turning green ceremony/family weekend. Hoping to book again. Thank you!

This was our 2nd stay at this cute house. Home is as described. It was like going back to Grandma's house. It is close to the historic part of Columbus and whatever you need is within a 10 min drive. Instacart and Walmart deliver so that was helpful for groceries. The downstairs bathroom is ample size with the claw foot tub and a walk in shower. The upstairs bathroom is convenient and is a half bath.
The beds are comfortable and the rooms are minimally furnished, but provide all that is needed. The home has a lot of character and I'm sure has lots of stories to tell.
Make sure to read the The Butter Bean Lady children's book. This adorable house is on the cover of the book. Make sure to ask Bonnie (owner) for the story about the home.
I also love that this is a pet friendly home. Be advised that the backyard is not fenced on all sides. We will definitely that there again.
Bonnie is quick to respond and her care of the home is quite evident.

We were in town for our son's Army Infantry Graduation. We travel with our dogs so it was nice to see they were welcome. The house has charm and character. There are details that show how old the house is, from the layers of paint to the original floors, old style kitchen sink, claw foot tub, fireplaces (not for use). Modern touches such as the walk-in shower and bedroom furniture. Several nice antiques add to the charm. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated.
The owner was very quick to respond to any needs or questions. If we needed something she was quick to get the items to us.
The full bathroom is downstairs and is quite large. Towels are soft and very clean (no stains). One small bottle of shampoo and conditioner was provided (2 uses, possibly). I will bring my own next time, but this is not an issue.
The kitchen had paper towels and napkins, dishwashing liquid and cleaning supplies, just in case they are needed. The kitchen had plenty of dishes; however, being an avid cook I did find the kitchen lacking in items such as mixing bowls, serving dishes, cooking utensils and steak knives. We managed, but I will bring my own next time...or, use this as an excuse to eat at any of the really good local restaurants.
Washer and dryer as well as detergent and dryer sheets are also provided.
The backyard is not fenced at the back or front/sides near the house. Keep that in mind for your pooches.
We are returning for Labor Day wknd.
