Booked hotel as I was attending Conference. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from Conference Centre and ideally located to several bars and restaurants. In house Indian restaurant is highly recommended. Great hotel, very nice rooms and great service. Competitively priced and good value for money.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, they were always cheerful whenever we saw them. The hotel itself is very conveniently located, and there was an umbrella in our room for those rainy Manchester days.
We found the bed a bit too soft for our liking, but that's a personal preference.

Had a slight issue the first night of my 2 day stay, but hotel responded very quickly which is a good indication that this is a great hotel this listen to their customers
Thank you

Well styled room, but very small compared to other hotels. Small bathroom and shower too.

I stayed here for 1 night as a treat to myself. The hotel emailed offering me to upgrade (for a fee) which I did and paid extra for a suite.
Upon arrival the staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful can’t fault them at all. The reception is gorgeous and smells lovely!
The suite however I was surprised with - there was no coffee for the coffee machine, no sugar, no blue tooth speaker which was advertised with this suite. There was an iron but no ironing board. For the price of a suite you would assume there might be a free bottle of water atleast but absolutely everything in the mini bar was chargeable.
The paint was chipping off in some places in the bedroom but other than that it was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy too, however you could hear very clearly heavy foot steps in the room above which made the light fitting above the bed shake and make noise too so it wasn’t the most restful of sleeps.
Beautiful hotel, but for the price I would expect everything to be spot on and unfortunately it wasn’t for me on this occasion

Nice hotel, very conveniant location. Room was clean and tastefully decorated with good amenities but too small, almost brushing up against the wall just to get around bed. Room felt stuffy with poor ventilation. The location is always likely to be noisey, we expected that but our annoyance was with the cleaners who woke us up before 9am with constant banging doors and talking loudly in the corridoor, unacceptable. At £160 a night one should not expect to have to pay extra for bottled water. Staff were nice. Light switches are a faff. Didn’t eat in restaurant. A few similar reviews it seems with lovely replies stating these issues will be addressed, quite clearly they haven’t been. Overall an average experience at a much higher than average price.

I had a lovely stay at Forty Seven. Gorgeous hotel and fabulous staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a beautiful hotel, the bar and staff were amazing the only issues we had was i had to rinse the bath out first; you can hear absolutely everything outside from taxis to stag/hen dos so barely slept and the thermostat for heating lit up the room all night. Was definitely worth the upgrade to the suite, cocktails were great, id just pre plan with ear buds and eye mask next time

Hotel staff were super friendly and standards inside were nice. Had a suite booked but the door to the living room was locked so i had no access to the mini bar or any lounge areas which was disappointing.

Amazing. Rooms beautiful and cosy and the beds were the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Great location. Thank you

Was disappointed that I didn’t get the upgrade on check in for hotel members. And think I was supposed to get free drink per guest which also got skipped

I LOVED this room, we stayed here for my birthday & it couldn’t have been better, the room was gorgeous, so cosy & the hotel was close to everything & everywhere we wanted to go. I felt very welcomed to the hotel by the reception staff who were instantly very pleasant. Wish I could’ve stayed longer! Will definitely be back, gorgeous hotel!

Room was comfortable if a tad “bijou”.
The receptionist was very welcoming, personable and full of information about the hotel and connected history.
The cocktails named after local historical characters were lovely if a little slow in their preparation.
Not much room to manoeuvre in our room hence “bijou”. Comfortable nonetheless.

Great stay, ideally located in the city centre, we had a function at a different hotel, and did not want to stay there. Roomwas small, but ideal for me as it had black out lining, coffee machine and mini bar /fridge in room, however I did not use either of these. L'occitane toiletries, so not to be snifffed at. Wasn't disturbed by noise. We didn't have breakfast , or eat at the restaurant on site, but would definitely consider staying again if we had a function on. There is also a bar, but again as we were rushing out, we didn't try it out. Staff were very welcoming and helpful

Modern well appointed small bright bedroom with trendy decor. Bar and lounge continued trendy theme with cozy comfortable seating. Restaurant on site had excellent food and service. Walking distance to train station and museums.

All rooms in my apartment were stunning. Beautiful decor, it looked very professional and clean. Rose petals through the rooms were worth the additional. All the staff seemed very polite and friendly.

Lovely swanky hotel with lots of mod-comms in the room! Good location for where we wanted to be in the city!

Current ratings are a little harsh. Location wins over room size otherwise stay was great. Very clean, modern and comfortable boutique hotel. Water pressure a little low otherwise I’d state significantly better than competitors in the same are of town.

Nice hotel but rooms very small, and athroom. Room smelt of damp, no fan in bathroom. Appreciate its only just opened.
Lighting in room poor.
Staff were nice and efficient.

This hotel is a case of style over substance.
Tiny room, no desk, no cupboards, cold dribbling shower and they couldn’t even invoice correctly let alone offer something off the bill for the cold shower. It’s the first and last time for me.
