There is no elevator in this hotel, so be aware. Rooms did not feel secure, doors had a physical key and a large gap under the door. My room only had one tiny window up high in the living area, no window in the bathroom. On the first day, one of the lights went out in the bathroom so I had to move one of the side lamps into the bathroom for more light. One day when my room was cleaned, the cleaning staff left the bathroom trash on my bed, so unprofessional.

I have expected more from the Hotel in this Price range, overpriced Hotel.
Minus points: very loud and you can't sleep, the hotel is in the main touristic street, the hotel is renovated old house with old noisy flooring and lots of stairs without Elevator, the dousche was'nt working properly, paperthin windows and either too cold or too hot during the day despite of having airconditioner, bad internet connection with disconnection, and 1 day completley power shutdown.
Positive points: near the main street and Metro and touristic places and the sea, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, relative clean place with extra closetroom, shared well equipted Kitchen.
Conclusion, if you are planing to stay all night up and partying in the center, it's the choice of hotel, otherwise there are many better places with less price and greater service that you could reach them within 5 min Metro ride.

Terrible experience. Expedia did not state that my room would have a public bathroom in the hallway. I cannot expreas what people did to the toilets. The hotel acked as if it was common sense and said they would fix on Expedia (4 days later and not fixed). I did want ro make sure, as I do with all of my overseas hotels..I emailed them 1 month, 2 weeks, and 4 days prior to my arrival with no response. I was told I could not lock the door to use it as a private bathroom, being its in the hall. The amount of people with rooms there and private bathrooms that were too lazy to walk to their rooms and decided to destroy "my" bathroom was insane.
I was told i would be texted when room was ready, I was not. I did read that you had to check out hair dryers, unfortunately there was no time limits so no one ever returned them. The staff said they would communicate from one to another but never did.

Stayed in the Family Room. Only one window, located in the separate bedroom — would not recommend this room for claustrophobic folks. Hair dryers kept at the front desk. The shared kitchen area is awesome and beautifully decorated.

Hotel was lovely and very central location, only things to note are there is no lift up to the hotel but wasnt too much of an issue, and there wasnt a hairdryer in the room asked at reception but every hairdryer was taken.

Front desk staff was above and beyond helpful!

We forgot a jewelry bag and they called us and returned. Very nice staff.

The hotel staff were excellent and friendly. The hotel is on a very active street closed to all traffic, so things stayed very busy and noisy until a little after midnight every night with many outside cafes and seats right under the hotel windows. Not the hotel's fault, but a traveler should be aware it is a very active place and you can expect to not sleep until after midnight every day of the week. It was great value for the money compared to other hotels I researched. Older visitors (or people with mobility issues) may want to also note there is no elevator in the place and the stairs are steep and quite lengthy going up and down. As the hotel is also on a street that is closed to traffic, make sure you have EXACT directions before you arrive as taxi drivers cannot get to the entrance at all. You do have to walk with your luggage for a block or so, at minimum. Bottom line, its a simple nice hotel in a great location for the price, but there are some drawbacks as outlined above. Remember the saying of "you get what you pay for."

I decided to book a replacement hotel for my trip as the single basic room I booked had a shared bathroom facility - this was my own fault for assuming it would have it's own bathroom as it did not explicitly say this. I considered staying the first night and reassessing in the morning, but checked out the shared shower and the lock on it was VERY flimsy, as a solo female traveller i just would not feel safe showering in there.
The other downside was the room only had one plug to charge devices.
That said, it was very clean, good location and the access to a kitchen is good if you dont want to eat out all the time.

Absolutely loved my stay here. My room 204 was looking out in street which was buzzing at night time yet quiet enough in the room.
The room was spotless and the staff were super friendly.

The location is perfect in a safe street with nice restaurants. Take a note that there is a lot of steps from the street to the rooms, no elevator. The shower is tiny, so might be difficult for a taller/bigger person. We enjoyed our stay. Compact and clean hotel. We only hoped there would have been a fridge for drinks, in the room, that would have been perfect. A little noisy from the street, but we like the sounds of life so it was fine. Would come again!

It was very close to city center, and good for a weekend trip, but I didn't have my separate bathroom which I didn't like because it wasn't mentioned on the booking. Staff was very polite and friendly.

Like: AMAZING location, big bedrooms, nice style.
Be aware: can be very noisy at night! I don’t mind but if you can’t sleep with noise it’s a no go.
Improvement suggestions:
Hair drier, safe, trash bin in the bedroom (not only bathroom), glass in the bedroom (to put toothbrush/drink water).

We were very disappointed with our hotel stay; so disappointed that we left a day early and moved elsewhere. On arrival we were advised by the Front Office Manager that they no longer had our reservation for the dates we had booked and paid for. Following our protestations, 10 minutes later we were found a suitable room. The room had no towels, and despite the FOM promising to get these delivered to the room within a hour, nothing appeared. The only towels available at Reception in the evening were still damp! We received no further communication from the hotel throughout our stay, no apology or explanation why they did not have our reservation. The room itself was quaint, but the old single glazed windows were unable to block out the street noise. Double glazing or internal shutters would have made such a difference. The street noise from the restaurants below our Windows’s did not stop until after 1.30am. Sadly the TV had not been programmed properly, and no channels were available to watch. As the stairs are very steep, and there is no lift, this property is not suitable for anyone struggling to climb stairs. Overall, this is not a property that we would recommend. Much better properties, offering better value and customer service, can be found elsewhere in Lisbon.

Very clean Great location staff very friendly and helpful people

The hotel is in a great location. Close to a metro station to link to the airport, and near to all of the main tourist attractions. The rooms are clean, modern and air conditioned, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful.
Our standard room was very small, the bathroom was cramped and it was a struggle using the shower as it is so narrow. We had a room facing the street, which gets very busy at night so be prepared for noise. We brought ear plugs and weren’t disturbed too much, but definitely consider this if you’re a light sleeper — especially if you’re staying over a weekend. Entrance into the hotel isn’t the best, located up a side alley with people often sat on the doorstep and who you have to ask to move each time — not the hotel’s fault but something to note.
We enjoyed our stay overall, the hotel is a good base for exploring Lisbon.

Entry to hotel is not the best and no elevator

My group had two rooms on opposite sides of the property. The room on the street was quite loud at night so keep that in mind if you go to bed anytime before 11 and are a light sleeper. The room on the alley was quite. The location is wonderful. Close to many things and a lot of lovely restaurants.

We got the room right across reception, it was super noisy both from construction outside our window and from every person that came in through the door. In the middle of the night, there was a person ringing and banging on the hotel's door for about 15-20mins to be let in, it appears maybe the person in charge fell asleep? It was a terrible night as we could not sleep at all. Next morning we asked the receptionist to please give us a different room away from the main entrance as the noisy was too much, the response was simply it was not possible as the hotel was fully booked. The person did not try to sympathize or offer any other kind of compensation/help, so believe some better customer service would be great.
A good thing: the location in the city was great and it was super convenient to have bars and restaurants nearby, it was a nice area.
In addition, it was very humid and the bathroom floor would not dry after having taken a shower.
Given the amount paid per night, the room and very noisy experience was definitely not up to expectations, so in the future we would not stay there :(

All went well. Like so many hotels in old neighborhoods, it looked a bit dingy from the outside but was clean and renovated in the inside. Bathroom was large with good water pressure. Street noise was a bit loud but easily drowned out by a fan or other white noise. Easy and friendly checkin and checkout.

Great location, walkable to centre, train station and plenty of shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff

Positives:
Great place to stay for the price point.
Easy enough to find and close to the metro to access places around Lisbon.
Great staff - everyone was super friendly and helpful.
Comfy beds
Negatives:
Our room was located facing the plaza - so a bit noisy at night if you’re trying to sleep.
Our room - again was right over a restaurant and the smell would come into our room - not necessarily a negative but I can imagine the smell getting to be a bit much if you’re sensitive to it. It’s not bad - I just don’t like the smell of food if I am not eating.
The room and bathroom was a bit small - I’m not a big person (5’4) but the shower was TINY.
Our shower was clogged and it grossed me out.
I couldn’t figure out the AC, but I just cracked the window open and it was glorious/perfect for me.

Great Friendly staff and a full kitchen for guests to use

Great surrounding area, easy to get to from the metro, clean and cozy room, and awesome staff.

Very small room with a tiny bathroom. Clean and well located. Friendly service. Not good value for money.
