It was 3.5 miles from area we were going for Celebration of Life..Phantom Canyon. The place itself was good had room to move around and visit Victor and Cripple Creek and be close to area to visit where Celebration of Life was held.

Saw the pictures on booking.com so aware of step up to the bed..also aware of the shower area .Called prior to booking to see if there were steps getting into main area..My husband( 82yrs old) has a walker...so was not able to get up to kitchen area much..I had also called to see if we could attach hand held shower head to shower brought with me..was told probably could..no one got back with me..get there note in bathroom "do not move or adj shower or shower head..so obviously.no shower for my husband for 7 days..sponged bathed. Found lots of nails on the wall which on some removed of put bandaid on them.. my husband put palm on one while leaning on wall. Was hoping for microwave.instead some type of oven that gets very hot on top..no ice or water from refrigerator.. Lighting was bad couldnt see at the table or sitting on couch..brought light from downstairs for end table. Need light by each side of bed.. We were there for 7 days and there was no comfort able place to sit at night..we had to pile pillows up on the couch to sit.I changed the sofa cushions from one side to other seemed to help..the recliner and couch should be replaced..so we sat on dining room chairs most of time.couldnt get fans to work in dining and living area..lighting was just bad.. i also switched the mattress around from head to toe.toe to head..slept better after that..was sinking in middle..We loved the area and the place..I just say we were camping or roughing it inside..My husband sat outside most of the time on the chair I brought from Florida for outside. So he read and drank coffee enjoyed the deer and fox..Would stay again..Yes because its convenient to my friends place ..i would bring a crockpot.maybe small microwave and some lamps and another chair for me!!
