Lage ist sehr gut, Zimmer mit Blick bis Madrid und 3 Min zu San Lorenzo de El Escorial und den vielen kleinen netten Lokalen.
Sehr ruhig gelegen, wenn man Zimmer Richtung Madrid bucht.
Frühstück war ok, frisches Obst, regionale Spezialitäten, Kaffee, Tee-Auswahl etc.
Lieblos eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr kahl. Man könnte doch zumindest ein Bild von dem unglaublich tollen San Lorenzo Palast-Kloster in die Zimmer hängen.
Sehr eckeliger alter Plüschstuhl. Minibar stand quasi offen dar - nicht in einen Schrank integriert.
Im Bad keine Ablagemöglichkeiten. Silikon grenzwertig alt.
Kein Parkplatz. TG kostete 30 Euro/Tag.
Obwohl das Hotel aus dem letzten Jahrhundert stammt und eigentlich viel Flair besitzt, wie und Frühstücksbereich.
Eingangsbereich und Rezeption wie in einem 2 Sterne Hotel so geschmacklos.
Keine Bar, keine Möglichkeit, Tee oder Kaffee oder Getränke zu bekommen.

Hotel clásico pero con habitaciones modernas, cómodo y muy bien situado, al lado mismo del monasterio.
El desayuno buffet muy amplio y variado.
Demasiado alta la calefacción pero se soluciona abriendo la ventana un poco.

Very helpful receptionists. Excellent position. Good sized room with balcony overlooking parkland. (Though we couldn't see far because of weather!). Breakfast ok.
We were quickly and easily moved to a quiet room when we complained about noisy neighbours.
I highlyrecommend the pizza restaurant just along the road.
No restaurant on site in the evening.
Lounge areas unavailable when we were there.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The reception staff was helpfull and nice. The hotel is well located, near the main sights and restaurants.
The breakfast was not included in the stay.

The hotel was very convenient and close to all amenities. The staff were very courteous and helpful.
The rooms were not as pictured on Booking.com. decor is tired and not well finished. the aircon wasn’t very efficient. Tea and coffee making facilities were lacking, although we did request it to our room, but had to change rooms initially. The mattress and pillows were a bit too firm. Overall our stay was just ok. not the 4 star stay we had hoped.

it was very close to restaurants and shops
it was very basic and tired looking, breakfast wasn’t included in our room rate so we paid for it extra, but again it was just really basic.
the bathroom needed attention and so did the room.
we asked for an iron and they brought up a very old and burnt one. bare in mind we were wanting to iron out outfits ready for the wedding we were attending.

Location is perfect. Easy to walk around the center and visit the Royal Site. Although the hotel looks a bit dated, it is comfortable, clean and the rooms are pleasant. Slept very well.. :-)
Breakfast is awesome with great selection at the buffet.

Beautiful 18th century palace, excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast.
The reception, common areas and bedroom felt they needed an upgrade, not quite the standard I would expect for a 4-star hotel. No car parking available on site.
