About this house rental

Tree-lined downtown location, pristine with high ceilings and elegant trimmings
This perfectly positioned and well cared for Victorian is stunningly beautiful inside and out and well-positioned in a quiet, tree-lined downtown neighborhood. Being located on a dead-end street, there is little traffic noise during the day and almost non-existent noise at night, making it one of the more coveted downtown respites.

This beautiful Victorian Bungalow, built in 1890 and fully renovated a few years back with no detail missed, includes AC, a main bedroom with en-suite bath, walk-in closet and vanity and a second bedroom with great light.

Just blocks from the Public Market and the new car-less State Street Promenade and fifteen minute walk to the beach (Stearn's Wharf and Marina too) you won't need a car.

The home features a king, queen, twin and two twin foam floor beds adorned with fine linens and comfortable beds. The front covered porch with bench swing is a treat for morning coffee or tea or lazy afternoons reading or visiting with loved ones.

The gated back yard is petite yet well-planned. The back yard is both private and very lush with a tall border of lush greenery to provide a cozy location for private conversation with loved ones, a meal, gaming or reading, Two cozy arm chairs are perched just above the back yard. The lower elevation (few steps) includes outdoor dining, bench and BBQ.

Two baths (one for each bedroom) feature brand new tile, shower and shower/tub combos. High ceilings create a feeling of elegance and space and bring history into the home. The living room boasts a comfy couch w/chaise, flat screen TV and room for games or chatting.

The dining room is set for six but can accommodate an addition two guests if needed.

We love this home, one of the favorites in our collection, and know you will love it too!

We look forward to welcoming you.

This home is in beautiful condition and the decor and furnishings are very upscale. Located in a quiet neighborhood only a couple of blocks from State Street with all Santa Barbara has to offer. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.

This house was exactly as described! The house was super clean and well stocked with all the amenities I have in my own home. It is minutes from State Street and Public Market. I loved soaking up the sun in the front yard and really enjoyed the neighborhood. Erin was a great host, She was very communicative making check-in and out very easy. I will definitely be back !

Really well presented, spacious and comfortable home- all walking distance to the action on State Street. Other than the noise from passing vehicles in this nice residential street, it is very quiet and the neighbours friendly. A great choice for a stay in SB

We love this cottage for its comfortable size and location, sweet backyard with heater, nice and fully equipped kitchen. This is the second time we have rented this home and it was great to be back. The location is right down from the Public Market and upper State Street, which is particularly wonderful. The only drawback is parking can be tricky at times and you might need to circle the block to find a place. This was not a big deal for us.

This is a very comfortable, well-equipped house with a great front porch. In a 6- week stay I rarely needed a car. Quiet neighborhood but close to shopping, restaurants, film festival and more. Great linens, dishes, etc. Convenient laundry. Nicely decorated. A top find!

We rented this property for our youngest son's wedding to his high school sweetheart. Not only was it exceptionally clean and comfortable, it was extremely convenient to down town and the wedding ceremony and venue. Lynn was so gracious to us and answered ALL my questions, even the really crazy one like was some of the decor was purchased. I would highly recommend staying in this beautifully updated older home.
