The Surfside is a very quaint establishment right on the water. It has a small restaurant/bar I did not have a chance to go into, there were complementary bicycles to use as well. The room was decorated simply and very clean!

On return, post concert, we had to wade through a flooded road due to significant rainfall. No issue of the hotel, but apparently a problem in that locale as there is a flood measuring post planted roadside, at the end of the seawall. Front desk girl was courteous and efficient. Bartenders were spot-on. All in all, a nice spot.

Beautiful location. The staff in the restaurant is absolutely great. We showed up late after a show when they were about to close but the gentleman working took our order, and delivered it to our room. Great food, great service. I wish the girl checking us in told us about coffee in the common room. Would have made the morning brighter! Lovely place.

It was adorable. Check in was seamless and we were able to upgrade for a nicer view. The little restaurant is cute and is also walkable to Riley's next door. Family friendly and perfect for a gals or adults weekend. Recommend!

What a lovely quick one night away. My husband and I just wanted a quick local overnight. We had dinner and drinks at Little Pub and then enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very clean and comfortable.

Cool place on the beach! Loved the decor and or room. Beds were comfortable and the coffee bar was awesome complete it’s own beach balcony. We were only there for one night so can’t say about the restaurant, but it looked like a nice place to eat.

Lovely spot. The rooms have a hip but comfy feel. Right on the ocean (Sound). Decent little gym and free coffee bar. Some negatives: Coffee bar has only dairy (boo and welcome to 2023). Bath tub did not work. And the set up is wonky where you can only turn on shower and get wet, due to unmovable glass wall. Little problems. We will go back next time we see a concert in Bridgeport

The property was nice, clean and convenient to Hartford Amphitheater. The staff, when staff was available, was very disinterested. I called at 10:10 to ask if it was possible to get late checkout and the answering service told me to call back because the desk did not open until 10. When I said it was 10:10, I was told they must be running late. Then a friend staying at the same time went to the desk because she was having the same issue and wanted to request late checkout and the two staff members who had just arrived were complaining about another guest who had requested extra towels. Cmon. The hotel is not cheap. If you want to keep specific front desk hours, so be it, but please make sure that 1. Staff is there when they are supposed to be and 2. They are courteous. We liked the room and restaurant but strictly because of these staff issues, I probably would not stay again.

It was a perfect beach vibe , great food at the pub, but they should open at 11:00 am , the coffee station is perfect , and the ice water and ice machine are great extra accommodations, I recommend 💯

The decor is so cute. Loved the coffee bar. The beds were firm. Excellent beds! Best bed I have ever slept in for a hotel. The walls are a bit thin. You can hear people pretty easily above you, but overall I loved this spot. Great place to stay if you are going to a concert in Bridgeport.

I booked this specific hotel for the view of the water, however, when I arrived, they gave us a room that had no view and was facing the parking lot. I think they did this because we arrived late, which should not be the case. If I reserved a room with a view, I should have that no matter what time I arrive. As soon as I was taken to the room I called the front desk and asked if they had a room with a view and they said no. I then asked if anyone was checking out over the weekend, could we be moved to a room with a view, they claimed they were fully booked through the weekend. However, we saw many new cars and faces on Saturday that was not there that was in the rooms with a view.

We planned a trip to visit college friends and did not want to stay in the run of the mill corporate hotel. Surfside was the perfect spot! From the beach side setting, unique design of the rooms, the awesome food and drinks at Little Pub and the complimentary bikes, we had a great visit.

My wife and i had stayed here in the past before it became The Surfside. It was a nice place to stay but the hotel itself needed a lot of work to be a nice comfortable stay. I think they did an excellent job in every aspect and i'm looking forward to going back for another few days. Very clean rooms and the entire building is as inviting as can be. The staff was friendly, courteous and engaging.
