La vista sullo stretto
La posizione- distante da tutto
I servizi - nemmeno una navetta per accompagnare gli ospiti in centro
I costi - tutto molto costoso ma non rapportato come qualità ad un hotel 5 stelle

Close to Messina ferry. Easy and free parking. Good views over water.
AC did not work, it is controlled from Reception and as it was not officially Summer then no AC works in the rooms. Opened windows to cool off 2nd floor room and got mosquitoes inside. Restaurant is huge and formal, nowhere to have an A La carte meal - just fixed menu.

beautiful view, great service. A complimentary taxi service to Scilla for dinner was helpful with my disabled husband.
The water was not fit to drink. the hotel provided complimentary bottle of water which was kind.

The location was beautiful, the breakfast was good.

Beautiful facilities. Clean.
Lack of information for non Italian speaking visitors. They need booklets in the rooms to let you know what is available. otherwise it’s lovely.

Overall, the property was beautiful and the rooms were nice, with great food.
However, it's basically impossible to go to the beach as the property is on a cliff, although it claims to have its own private beach. Which it does, but when we asked to go to it, we got thrown in a van that dropped us off in around noon on a rocky beach with no towels, no chairs, and no water. We had to walk back up as we called and they never picked us up and didn't even apologize to us. Later, we discovered they had a REAL beach with chairs but then these scammers tried to charge us extra to go. Honestly, the staff here is lazy and rude and I'm never coming back. It's also impossible to get to the nearest town, Scilla, without the staff having their "friend" pick you up and charge 50 euros for a 10 minute drive.

the location is fantastic
Not a 5 star Hotel anymore. Rooms need to be refitted.
In the restaurant was not possible to have a simple snack al 8 pm.
Not a 5 star service

- The Hotel prepared our room because we travel with our dogs
- We just stayed 1 night
Almost nothing, yet particularly the reception was unfriendly and didn’t explained a thing.

Location was amazing...gorgeous.
Breakfast buffet servers, and pool person (for towels) were VERY impolite. Difficult to get to/from your cara for excursions; no desk staff in building with rooms; no instructions on amenities.

View food pool entertainment! Very romantic
The bed was atrocious! Seriously a torture device!!! The room should have coffee making facility even though we are in Italy a five star hotel should have a decent coffee tea making facility and bath robes !

Could have had beds more comfortable. Not an issue but would have been nice. And more gym equipment. No weights whatsoever.

The front desk was not at all welcoming . Didn’t have maps, couldn’t help me buy ferry tickets on line...couldn’t give directions to the port. I found the maîtresse rude though she spoke English perfectly. The room’s safe deposit was broken. The restaurant always asked to sign a blank check ( couldn’t add up the bill before signing)one doesn’t see the total restaurant bill till checkout .i I don’t think they are used to foreign tourists and do very well with the local clientele. Would NOT recommend.
