This comfortable and refined apartment is perfect for your holidays in Porto!
Upon arriving at the apartment from exploring the city, you will relax on the sunny terrace enjoying a Porto wine, against the background of the beautiful view of the “Duques” district with its tall trees.
The apartment is located in an Art Nouveau style building of Porto. Its restoration work is the result of our commitment to this family project.
On the entrance floor you will find a lounge where you can prepare your drink (we provide drinks to our guests), choose a book from the shelf in the hallway, listen to music, and breathe the atmosphere of the period, the typical atmosphere of a bourgeois house. of Porto from the turn of the 19th century to the 20th century
Via the elevator or stairs you go up to the apartment floor.
The apartment is very comfortable, bright and functional, even for longer stays.
The openly eclectic decor is punctuated by pieces from different periods and origins.
All these pieces are authentic and have been recovered.
This is the only way to achieve true sustainability of the planet and respect for nature.
All the old wood and beams in the house that had to be replaced were reused to make some furniture, namely the beds and headboards.
Among classic furniture, an antique chest of drawers, a 19th century Portuguese settee, and an antique Chinese chest, you will find Portuguese furniture from the 70s and the iconic chair that the Portuguese designer José Espinho designed in the 60s for Olaio.
The lighting is designed for you to enjoy great comfort. You will find different lamps from our collection, from the Hungarian wall lamps from a hotel in Budapest, to the Portuguese lamp from the 70s on the living room ceiling.
The "Duques" neighborhood is the ideal option for your stay, it is the coolest neighborhood, with soul and charisma in the center of Porto. The Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto is located there. Here you will find quality local shops, art galleries, excellent restaurants and vegan options if you wish.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! This beautifully remodeled apartment was in an old beautiful tiled building from the 1930’s. They have a sitting parlor as you come in so we were able to leave our bags and relax, Manuela brought up a beautiful bowl of fruit and many bottles of wine and port. She went over our map and recommended several good restaurants. Best VRBO I have ever stayed in!!!

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful big apartment. The owners provided us with every possible resource for our stay, and even did laundry for free. We sat down with them for an hour and learned the history of the building (built in 1911) including their history of purchase, and the 7- year renovation project by the architect owner.
I can't recommend this properly more highly. It is superb!

One of the nicest vacation homes we’ve stayed in, this apartment in the Bonfin neighborhood was perfectly appointed, impeccably maintained, and felt like living in an aristocrat’s mansion. The hosts were amazing, extremely knowledgeable, obviously had high standards, and couldn’t be more cordial. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the apartment. We highly recommend staying in this lovely building!

One of the highlights of our time in Porto was the wonderful 5 night stay at the exquisitely restored Art Nouveau building hosted by Jorge and Manuela.
The corner building is located in Os Duques of Bonfim a quiet and safe neighbourhood, just a short walk from Porto’s many attractions in the more touristy downtown area.
We were astonished at the detail and authenticity of the restoration and were lucky enough to book the Terrace Duplex apartment for our stay.
On our arrival at the Terrace, we were warmly greeted by Manuela who took the time to give us a detailed list of the best of Porto’s museums, parks, restaurants and incredible attractions.
The huge 2 floor apartment is an eclectic combination of high-end amenities along with early 19th century light fixtures, furniture and art, all reflecting Art Nouveau design.
The main floor of the Terrace has a large ultra modern kitchen, loaded with amenities and a big terrace off the living room. The 2nd floor has another bedroom and bathroom.
The Terrace and our hosts were just awesome.
It was probably the most enjoyable and relaxed stay of our many travel experiences.
We highly recommend a stay at Jorge and Manuela’s very special Terrace apartment.

This was a VERY relaxing and welcoming apartment, far from the tourist noise yet super close to all you want to see if you enjoy walking. Very neighborhood like with good local restaurants which Manuela is eager to share with you!! She was very very gracious and helpful and the parking garage was super close

So many amazing things to say about our experience. Jorge is an incredible host. The unit was lovely and every detail has been taken care of. The bowl of fruit is the finest we have seen anywhere, and most appreciated. Give this apartment a try. You will not be disappointed!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Good space for two couples traveling together--each couple had privacy and their own bathroom, yet there was a good living room/kitchen/dining space where we could hang out together. The second bed/bath was up a narrow staircase that was difficult to haul up any larger suitcases but otherwise a nice space. The apartment had everything we needed except for our own food but there was a great fruit bowl available upon arrival that lasted us for a few days. Walking distance to groceries, coffee, restaurants, bars, sights, and a short Uber ride to everything else. There is a washer in the apartment but the dryer is downstairs and shared by other renters (5 total units in the building all operated by the same people). We did have to fight for dryer time and it took awhile to get things dried. Overall a great stay! We would definitely stay here again when in Porto!

Absolutely loved our stay, and the hospitality provided by our hosts Jorge and Manuela. Restaurants, grocery’s and transportation nearby. Uber is very reasonable, and good way to avoid the hills of Porto. Stayed a week, and just touched the tip of the iceberg. Weather was wonderful, and not the crowds of summer. Highly recommend our accommodation.

Sometimes you can have it all. This flat was wonderful with enough space to have some privacy and cozy at the same time. The balcony was a real bonus. The owners were very accommodating and there was none of the non-sense with "guest chores". The kitchen was fully stocked, and they thoughtfully provided a giant bowl of mixed fruits which we thoroughly enjoyed. The best part of this rental was location, location, location. This flat is in a quiet neighborhood so if you get too much sun or sangria you can easily nap. It is close to many restaurants and markets. Plus, many tourist sites are within a 10–20 minute walk. The metro, cable car, and river are equally close. The owners helped us arrange our airport transfers to and from the rental. We enjoyed our time in Porto very much and the thoughtful touches of the rental helped us unwind.

We booked this apartment based on the write up and upon arrival it was exactly as described. The area had a butcher, bakery and local grocery store within a 4 minute walk and a larger grocery store a 15 minute walk away. We took several day trips as well we did a 3 day trip to Lisbon by train. The owners of the apartment were fantastic and anticipated our needs due to an early arrival. Should we choose to return to Porto this is the only place we would stay. Thank you Manuela and Jorge

Our hosts were wonderful. Jorge personally checked us in, and gave us invaluable information on where to get food, what would be open the next day as it was Sunday, and about the apartment and the local area. Every evening, complimentary selections of Port and cookies were available for their guests in the communal sitting area.
This beautiful apartment with luxurious linens, elegant furnishings and two roomy private spaces with nice bathrooms is located in a quiet neighborhood. There is everything here for 4 adults to relax, cook, dine, and sleep. You can have your breakfast and coffee, or a glass of wine in the evenings on your terrace overlooking the neighborhood. Jorge and Manuela provided an assortment of fresh fruits and a bottle of Port for our enjoyment.
There is a Metro stop a six minute walk from the apartment, or you can just walk to everything; restaurants, gilded churches, monasteries, gardens and open air markets. You can eat inexpensively (or extravagantly) in the neighborhood: traditional, sushi, steak, seafood. The locals are friendly, helpful and many speak English.

I cant say enough great things about this rental! Not only is it in a perfect location (quiet street just on the border of Old Town) and in walking distance to everything. Grocery, Restaurants, Bars all close by. But its the charm of the renovated building and the kind and thoughtful host that made this so special. Manuela met us as we arrived, showed us around the apartment to explain how everything works. And she even gave us a detailed map of Porto and told us where all the great places to eat and drink and shop are. Our Host in Lisbon did not even meet us when we arrived. You will absolutely love sipping wine or morning coffee on the beautiful terrace that wraps around the building! I would highly recommend booking with Manuela. You will not be disappointed. We would highly recommend staying here! The check in process was seamless, we were met by Jorge and he walked us threw the apartment and took the time to provide us with local places to eat and where to shop for groceries. There was a lovely fruit basket, wine in the fridge and also some local port to try. The apartment had everything we required for our 8 day stay. I can’t think of anything they missed. The locations is perfect, you are able to walk everywhere. Thank you so much for everything, I will be recommending your apartment to our friends and family and if we ever make it back to Porto we will definitely be contacting you! This was one of my all time favorite properties. The location was perfect, walkable to everything but right outside so you had some quiet. We hung out on the balcony every night. The upstairs bedroom/spare living room was perfect for 2 couples, we felt like we had our own space. The space had everything needed, fresh fruit, wine, a few beers in the fridge. I couldn’t say enough great things about this place. Don’t think twice and book it, you won’t regret it!!

The apartment is lovely and exactly as we had hoped. No details are missed by the hosts, including fresh fruit, coffee, Port wine, sparkling wine, toiletries, everything you could need. Our host, Manuela, spent time with us upon arrival showing us all the highlights on the map as well as some special local restaurants that were fabulous. The apartment is well located, in a quieter neighbourhood, just a short walk to the city centre. We also enjoyed downtime on the balcony, sipping wine and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend without hesitation.

I really enjoy this property it was well equipped for 4 guests. We had 2 young adults with us and the upstairs bedroom was perfect for them. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking breakfast. Having access to the patio outside was a plus, we enjoyed sitting outside and having some port and wine. The place did have a washer and dryer which came in handy. We enjoyed the welcome special in the parlor a common area which had some nice treats and port wine. I would recommend this apartment it was very very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful apartment Jorge has created, with amazing furnishings and features, such as the corner balcony with lovely vista. And what a lovely hostess Manuela is! We felt fully attended to and cared for by her the minute we arrived, including wonderful suggestions on sites, directions and restaurant options. Manuela was available to assist with every matter, big or small, urgent or not - could not ask for more from a host! Highly recommend both the delightful property and lovely people who will host you.
