As of mid-November we’ll have decorated a Christmas tree for your holiday visit! Access to Lake Charles Lakefront Promenade and Mardi Gras Museum of Imperial Calcasieu are a short walk from this unit: Olive Bayou. Take the kids to Millennium Park for Pirate exploring before walking downtown to enjoy year-round fine dining and entertainment. Enjoy the daily wildlife right outside the back door in the open green space. This quaint unit is sure to be a place you visit more than once.

We enjoyed our time at Jamie’s place. We had one issue which was resolved quickly and owner communicated effectively. The master bedroom bed was a little “creaky” with any movement but mattress was comfortable. Loved coffee amenities available. Quiet neighborhood and close to 121 restaurant

I can say this was the best stay we have ever had by all members of our party. Julie has the home looking magnificent and decorated as though an interior designer laid hands on the property. Anything that was ever thought of as a need she had for us. Everything looked brand new inside with fully furnished pots and pans with all cooking/baking utensils. The bedrooms were super comfortable and decorated. The bathrooms were awesome with anything you would have at home for your daily skincare regiment there. We were so impressed and we were not far from anything Lake Charles had to offer. We have family in Lake Charles and we will most definitely be back for a visit and staying here. We salute you Julie. Thanks a million.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The pack-and-play/travel crib was a much appreciated bonus! The location was nice and safe and the house inside was immaculate, smelled amazing, and was perfect for families. Would have loved to stay longer if we had the time!

It was a great place, very peaceful. My wife loves the smell of the star jasmine. Our place was extremely clean very easy to talk and communicate with host. It was a great relaxing time for our wedding anniversary will be back.

This is my first Vrbo experience, and I was pleasantly surprised. The house is immaculate and the decor is beautiful. I was impressed with the value as well! The coffee pods in the morning and the Dr. Teals bath products were a nice added touch!

This was our first VRBO stay and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet, all the cooking utensils we needed so we could make some meals there, and Jamie was very quick to respond to any questions we had. It was very cozy and homey and so nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

We had a fantastic holiday get away in a safe, clean, comfortable and well organized/maintained environment!! The addition of the Christmas tree made us feel at home!! This home was outstanding… It exceeded our expectations… the cleanliness was unremarkable!!! I will definitely stay here again… the owner even had a Christmas tree which was a great surprise!!! Can’t say enough good things about this property. We were in Lake Charles for a family wedding and it was the perfect place for us. The owners have thought of everything you could possible need. Lovely design and decor (Christmas tree was beautiful too), spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Will stay here next trip to Lake Charles and highly recommend it all.

The decor, furniture and location were awesome. Close to the lake, great restaurants and I-10 - we were very comfortable and it was great to have 3 rooms both our kids got their own room and privacy. We were very comfortable and the home was well stocked with everything we needed - so helpful!

Jamie's place was very clean and she was incredibly responsive in a short amount of time. We had an issue with another stay (for work) and had to find something quick. We really lucked out with Jamie's place and absolutely will be staying again our next time in town. Highly recommend inside was amazing, nice neighborhood with a quick drive (or walk) to local eats and treats.

This home is the perfect location for a weekend or exteded get away and within walking distance to some restaurants and shops. The home was very clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities for our group of six. The neighborhood felt safe and within a short walking distance to Millennuim Park, which is nicely ligthted for an evening stroll. We even met some of the neighbors who were super friendly. We will definitely book this home once again when we return to Lake Charles.

I usually look for places with kitchens to cook some meals when away from home. Most of the time, I am disappointed with not having enough pans, silverware, etc. The host thought of everything! My son asked if I packed qtips, and sadly I did not. Then we found them in the bathroom! Every host should stock the house the way this host does! The house was clean, a nice quiet area downtown. It was just a wonderful time.

The property was awesome. It was clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with anything needed to prepare a meal or to have morning coffee (kuric and k cups provided). The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms had an adequate supply of towels, soap and shampoo. We could not have asked for better accommodations. We will definitely be requesting another stay when returning to Lake Charles
