Used the home to have a bunch of teens get together before going off to college. They loved the pool and the cinema room. They all brought over their own gaming systems and tvs to add to the chairs in the cinema room to have their own world. We bbq’d and swam and just enjoyed a place to hang and relax. It was really nice that we could get a big group together and it be ok!!! Not a lot of places allow gatherings! Thanks for sharing your place with us. There was some damage to the place which I think is the cost of them sharing their home with people who misused it at previous gatherings. But overall great place to have a get together with the space to spread out!

Property is nice enough but was not clean when we arrived, dirty floors, counters, walls, well everything was dirty. Goats , swine and roosters surround property so lots of noise and odours. Everything outside was under layers of dust, pool table had 1 sort of usable cue the rest were severly bent or missing tips. Lots of the kitchen cupboards were broken, the living room furniture was basically trashed, loose bricks around the pool causing one fall thankfully no injury. All of the bbqs need cleaning, and there was only one half full propane bottle available. Burned out lights everywhere inside and out. Just general disrepair.
Owner said they were going to block off the rest of the month to make repairs, i hope they did, it has lots of potential.

The pictures of this house really do not give it justice. It was even bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. The back yard was amazing!! We came to visit many family members and wanted a house for a hang out spot and this house was perfect! The host was very responsive and helpful. We hope to visit again!

We very much enjoyed staying and having a mini-family reunion vacation at your property. It had many essentials that helped to make the stay more accommodating. The dart board, pool table, hot tub, grill and bonfire gave us hours of entertainment. We also loved making friends with all of the neighboring farm animals. We went to daily Spring Training games and White Tank Mountain Regional Park hikes. Thank you for being great hosts, we would choose your property again if we return to Surprise in the future.

We were 3 couples wanting nice weather ... & we found it (nice 75°). We each wanted our own bedroom with bathroom & a gathering space to socialize, build puzzles & play cards ... & we found it. We wanted to watch movies & programs together & separately ... & we found it (including a media room with a popcorn activities).
We wanted a place to enjoy the sun & have room to put up a pickleball net ... & we found it (there were tables with chairs, lounge chairs, a pool which was a bit chilly in February for most of us) & a pool table. We wanted a location without too much traffic within a good distance of a variety of golf courses as well as other activities ... & we found it. Our host Max was so pleasant, helpful & quickly responded to messages ... an example is that the kitchen is fitted with filtered water & its filter needed changing - 1 message to Max & it was fixed. Note that there is a dirt road with potholes to the house ... no challenge for SUVs & pickups but drive extra slow with low riding vehicles so they don't bottom out. The house was PERFECT for a month away from Northern California's cold weather & snow ... with a 3 car garage!!

Suited our extended family stay over the New Year, with comfortable beds and room to spread out. It has a slightly threadbare quality throughout and sturdy furniture has been used well, but the host is in the process of updating for future guests and was highly responsive, including arranging for popcorn for the theater room popcorn-maker. There is a great grocery store a mile away and the kitchen has all manner of small appliances - we enjoyed cooking together and had everything needed. While on the north side of the Phoenix area, the location put us closer to Lake Pleasant which was a great day trip for boating. Be aware that this is adjacent to ranch-style properties with all manner of livestock, and the roosters start crowing well before dawn - which was noticeable but charming in its own way and did not disturb our group's sleep overall. Dirt roads with potholes for access, but there was recent rain so the bumps may not normally be a problem. Pool/hot tub are lovely and clean but not heated so we did not use. We did enjoy fresh pickings from the backyard pomegranate, lemon, orange and pummelo trees, and the backyard is fully contained - our dog was delighted with things to sniff. We used the backyard grill one night but were mostly inside due to cool weather/ There are closets full of old blankets if a group might want to sit by the firepit. Also a new washer and dryer in its own laundry room.

This property is very spacious with many amenities. The property manager was very responsive with any maintenance items that needed addressed. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Very "grand" estate. Beautiful grounds for entertaining. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy, eat, party. We had a birthday party with about 20 adults and their children of all ages. It was april, so the pool was still cold but kids didnt care. Temp that day about 80. 4 bdrms, 4 bathrooms gives plenty of space. Tvs in every room and a theater room. Lots of old world charm!
