Nice experience over all.

Very great place to stay! Very clean close to the beach and tons of food options. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone !
4.2
Greeted with a portable ac unit that barely kept the room cool; Jerry-rigged the exhaust portion of the unit that was taped to the window(also was escaping inside the room) and was also very loud.
Comfort of my stay wasn’t the greatest because of its location and noise but it has its perks that places were near and convenient.
4.2
Pleasantly surprised. The parking was a little complicated but not bad. Well explained and easy to follow. Room was like a retro apartment with lots of space and charm. Nicely maintained and an excellent location near shops, restaurants and clubs. Will definitely go back.
4.2
Fantastic location, with good sized rooms and facilities. Bed is very comfortable.
The building is very nice and the decor is in keeping with the style.
Staff are helpful, even if that’s on a call.

The room was clean enough. The carpet was very stained and could definitely use a professional cleaning! I’m not going to give this hotel a bad review, because I knew exactly what kind of building it was before my stay. It’s an old building with no elevator. It’s very close to the Long Beach Conv Ctr and there are lots of eateries in the area within walking distance. That being said, the area around the hotel is heavily populated with homeless people. The windows/walls were so “thin” (2nd floor) that it sounded like the homeless people that were fighting and yelling outside, way after midnight, every night, were inside our room. And you could hear every step the people above us took, Thurs night and Fri night. This I know because they were walking around at 2 AM and 3 AM, both nights. Mind you, they were not being obnoxious. They were not stomping around the room. It was a family with small children and a baby. They were simply walking around their room and the building is very old. So, there is not very good soundproofing between rooms. Other than that, if those things do not bother you, It was a good rate for the area and having the kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker, and a small size refrigerator with a separate freezer, was very convenient! Also, the beds were comfortable. I would not stay here again simply because I am an over 50 female who is not in the best of shape. But, if you’re in good shape, this would probably be a good option for you.

Amazing

I gave a review earlier. It’s a great place to stay except for seniors who are not well enough to carry heavy luggage upstairs.
The kitchenette is basically a fridge and dishes. No hot plate, toaster or kettle. So eat out, pick up local takeout or buy prepared food at the nearby Von’s grocery store. All very clean and comfortable!

Good and comfortable !!!!!!!

The manager of the property was absolutely nasty the place was trash like terrible do not rent here it is a scam
4.2
Location near shoreline - LOTS of homeless, noisy most of the night- there is a window in the bathroom with no lock on it, I open it and it is a crawl space I could see the windows from the upstairs- creepy
4.2
The information shared about the facility including location, entrance and exit were clearly communicated. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. The only downside was the odd smell in hallway and stairs. This did not affect our stay.
4.2
Such a great and affordable hotel in Long Beach. Definitely looking forward to stay here for future visit. Everything is close by

The room itself was spacious and the bed comfortable. The wifi was reliable. The room wasn't very sound proof, so you get a lot a street noise. However it is more like a boarding house rather than a hotel. The airline lost my bags and becuase this hotel doesn't have a regular staffed reception, I had to waste a day waiting around for my bag to arrive. This is not a fault of the hotel really but more of an inconvenience if something goes wrong, which it did for me.

We loved this vintage hotel. Everything was clean and we had a kitchenette. Just pay attention to whst your luggage weighs as there is no elevator.

It was awesome the place was amazing
4.2
Great downtown location and historic character.
4.2
Staff was awesome when communicating things!!
4.2
While it was a good price and close to downtown. The mattress cover had an unknown stain upon arrival. The bathroom had NO AC so it was so humid and hot showering. The window didn’t open. The floor and tables in the suite looked like they had not been cleaned for weeks. Lastly, the cleanliness looked like it was not taken seriously. The place needs serious cleaning staff.
4.2
I booked a room with 2 queen beds, but when we checked in, we saw that there was only 1 king bed. When I tried to call, they did not answer, and when they did, they hung up on me. Additional problems were that they said that there was a microwave in the room, but there isn't one and that the WIFI does not work.
4.2
Pros: Room was clean and staff was very helpful when there.
Nice price for the area.
The code they gave us worked and they let us store our luggage before checkin.
Cons: Staff is rarely there, which is great if you want to blast music all day. If you want relaxation…not so much.
Hotel windows are also very thin and you can hear a lot of street noise, especially when the bar closes at 2 am.
You can also hear water pipes anytime someone flushes or uses water. Bring earplugs!
4.2
No elevator. Had to tote luggage up 3 flights of stairs. A/C in room didn't work. No parking structure. Had to circle the block numerous times until i lucked up and found someone leaving. Overall the entire experience was a disaster.
4.2
Super convenient location, and great homey and safe stay! If you’re in the area for a couple of days, I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Location was convenient

Though very modern and artistically pleasing, this hotel is in a very old building. As such, there is no elevator and worse no insulation between walls and floors. I have a medical condition that makes it difficult for me to climb stairs, and the lack of elevator was not called out clearly in the Hotels.com main description and was instead buried under one of the sub sections. This should have been called our much more prominently being an accessibility restriction. Even more problematic than the elevator, though, was the noise. I had an upstairs neighbor that walked very heavy footed and dragged chairs around constantly from 4 AM to 5AM. Even with earplugs I was still kept up for that bout every morning. The staff was apologetic and even reached out to the room above me, but the resident just said "it's not us" and kept making noise. Finally, note that there is a reason you are paying such a low price. 1 ply toilet paper, no hangars, and no way to turn off the ceiling fan without turning off the light are just a few examples (the chain was broken). Having said all that, the hotel is in a good location and was clean. If you can look past these sorts of issues, the cost savings may be well worth it to you.

Everything was nice at the hotel some things didn’t work like lightbulbs and I think the lights need to be brighter in the closet and of course there’s no elevator but all in all I enjoyed my stay.
4.2
Love this little hotel. Clean updated rooms with a cool historic vibe to it. Nice little night life happening in the neighborhood. Will definitely stay again.
4.2
The hotel was lovely and very clean. Staf was remote, but very responsive.

Walkable to dining and beach. Convention Center. Nightlife in the area was great. Close to grocery store.

Was great for one night stay.

Comfortable and clean rooms😀

Very nice location

The place is a fraud . You should take it off your site . We got there couldn’t find it . The pictures are all fake . Even the outside of building doesn’t look like pictures. No person on property looks creepy and scary walking up stairway. The room was horrible. We didn't stay. What a waste of our time and money. It was a big inconvenience we had to look for a hotel to stay. That's how bad it is. No wonder they do everything thru email it's fake.
4.2
Friendly staff easy access to get in great location

The staff was there when we got there. They let us check in early and saved us from having to carry around luggage for hours. The morning after there was poop, urine, and trash around the neighborhood and homeless people. The hotel does a great job at keeping it clean around them. You do have to carry luggage up and down stairs, that is challenging if you pack like me! The walls are thin because if it being an older building the bar sounded like it was right outside our room and the street racing keeps you up a little late. Overall it was a great stay!!!! Again, the hotel was clean and the staff was sooo nice!

I really enjoyed my stay. Cute and clean. Perfect location.
