I'll not be doing justice if I'm rating our stay only 10 out of 10. Everything, starting from the property, to the facilities, the host and the staff have really exceeded our expectations. The property which has been built to perfection, is located in a breathtaking location, surrounded by tea gardens, has got the royal touch and has been maintained really well. Hosted by Taj Sir and Mam, it's worth mentioning their warm welcome and hospitality. Personally taking care of all the guests, treating everyone as family members, their attention to detail is really appreciated. The cherry on the cake was the homely food cooked and served as per your pallet. This is definitely going to be my home for my next visits to Ooty. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Orchard Valley View Homestay to everyone visiting the Nilgiris.

There is absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

What truly stood out during my stay was the genuine care the hosts showed towards their guests. They were eager to share local insights, recommend hidden gems, and ensure that I had the best experience possible. It was evident that they put their heart into creating a memorable stay for each visitor.

Property was outstanding.All rooms were occupped with modern amneties and very well maintained.Views from the outside were mesmarizing. Our host was there whenever we need them.He was "Supercool".

The only difficulty i found was getting into their location.

Everything. Be it the location or the staff or the facilities. All good.

Location. Even if you miss that toy train for that scenic journey ( u shouldn’t though) if you are at this location you get that. It’s beautiful.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the magnificent view that stretched as far as the eye could see. The tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings provided the perfect escape from the bustling city life. The owners, Mrs. and Mr. Taj Mohamed truly made the experience exceptional. Their warm and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. They were incredibly attentive to my needs, ensuring that I had everything I required for a comfortable stay. Their love for their home and the area was evident in the way they shared stories and recommendations about nearby trails and attractions. And let's not forget about the food! The in-house cook Umesh whipped up the most delectable meals, each bursting with flavors that showcased the culinary treasures. From hearty breakfasts to mouthwatering dinners, every dish was a treat for the taste buds. They were also considerate of dietary preferences and provided options to cater to different needs, especially for my 1 year old daughter whom they've treated like her own granddaughter. Rooms were cozy and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. Waking up to the sight of majestic mountains from my window was a surreal experience that will stay etched in my memory. The homestay provided all the necessary amenities, ensuring a hassle-free and enjoyable stay. Location is awesome , its like picture perfect.Owner Taj is very down to earth. He made sure we are always comfortable . We reached very early but he did give us room without making us wait for check-in time.

Pillows were very thin

We had a fantastic stay at this place. The house, view, ambience and interiors are exceptional. It’s less portrayed in the picture. All those who come with no expectations are going to have a pleasant surprise. The service given by Mr. Taj and his housekeepers are phenomenal. You would feel like you are with a family. South Indian breakfast by Javed, Spicy Chicken Curry, Lemon tea, coffee and fruits, cooked according to our preference. Camp fire is not be missed. I would book this place again. I rank this place the best among all the home-stays i experienced.

Everything is exceptional. Do not give a second thought. This is safest, cleanest and most serene location. Especially host Hussain uncle and Shahida aunty were best part of the stay.They make you feel utter comfortable and at home. It's amazing how they manage all guests so well. They ensure privacy at the same time they do not let you feel lonely. Trust me, you won't find better stay than this in Ooty even if you pay huge amount at any hotel. Clean wide spacious rooms with personal garden, Best home cooked tasty food , beautiful location, best host. What else can anyone ask for. Totally worth every penny. I am female and went along with my mom. It is safest place to stay in Ooty.

The house was well equipped with all amenities. Clean and well maintained with good hospitality. The homely meals were delicious, and overall ambience provided by orchard valley homestay was mesmerising. The stay was a great memorable one.

Homely atmosphere. The hospitality of Mrs. and Mr. Hussain will be cherished forever. They made us feel at home. Very calm location and the view around is spectacular. The food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Glad that I found the property after a research of more than a week. The stay is just as in the photos.

Excellent, very clean and standard, good hospitality

It was an amazing and comfortable stay.Stay is surrounded by tea plantations. It is 5 km from city centre. So very peaceful and calm environment. Cleanliness is so good .Room has basic amenities such as water heater, toiletries, blankets, wifi etc. Food is prepared in the house by the maid which was so tasty and of good quality. 3 rooms are available with common area with smart tv. Owner and his wife stays there and they were so welcoming. We felt like home.

Orchard vally view Home stay is located at absolutely scenic location. I must say this property is much better than what is posted at booking site and definitely u ll get way more than what you pay. Waking up in a place like this, definitely gives you a good vibe. Mr&Mrs Hussain are really nice host and ll definitely make your stay pleasant. You ll be served with home like breakfast and dinner with very minimal price. Their kind gesture and fabulous hosting will remain forever with us. I had three awesome days stay there and felt very satisfied. And lastly dinner with complementary bon-fire was cherry on top. A strong recommendation for people looking for a peaceful stay within nature.
