About this house rental

A one minute walk across a reserve to Beautiful Ruakaka beach!

Clean and tidy 3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 Toilet home with sleep out on flat, fully fenced section. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO Linen provided. Please make sure you have sheets, pillowcases, duvets/blankets and towels.

No car access to this part of the beach keeps it nice and quiet all year round!

Plenty of room on the reserve out front for the kids to play, ride bikes etc without the worry of cars.

Outdoor shower to rinse off after one of the many trips to the beach.

Full insulated with Heat pump and HRV ventilation system keeps the house dry and warm/cool when you need it.

Original Kitchen with F&P appliances, Stove, Dishwasher and Ice & Water refrigerator.

Huge wrap around deck with 4 burner gas BBQ and a Kettle BBQ if charcoal is more your thing, please bring your own charcoal etc…

Multiple outdoor entertaining areas so you can follow the sun throughout the day.

Hopefully not, but if you feel the urge to do a bit of work or you just want a break away to work there is unlimited Fibre broadband at your disposal.

Enough parking for 6 vehicles outside the gate keeping the kids away from the cars.

If boating is your thing, a super wide gate makes backing the boat in a dream.

A 2min drive or 10min walk to Ruakaka shopping centre which has everything you need! Bakery, Fish n Chips, Sushi, Cafe, Butcher, Supermarket, Kebab/Pizzeria, Doctors…

Next to the shopping centre there is a playground as well as a skatepark if you get sick of the beach.

Only 90min north of Auckland or 20min south of Whangarei makes it so easy to get to.

Nearby we have the Waipu caves, Waipu golf course, plus all of the attractions of Whangarei.

The property is truly a 1-minute walk from the beach, and this was great fun for our two kids. We appreciated that there were boogie boards and a nearby toy library for the beach. There are also board games, fast WiFi and television for those rainy days. I would note that the property felt more run down than in the photos (trampoline broken, roof leak in bathroom when raining, stained/worn out furniture, piles of construction materials/leaf litter in the yard) -- though some of this may just be due to visiting in the winter during rainy weather. Neighbors were also a little noisy our last night. However, we did have a great stay and would recommend this spot, especially for its proximity to the beach.

Cozy, comfy, everything you need and out the gate a few steps to the beach. We watched the sunrise with our coffee every morning and slept like logs in the comfy beds. Kids had a blast, already planning when we can come back. Thank you

We had a very nice stay. The bach met expectation and the beach location was fantastic. Could have used a few more basic sundries (tea towels, TP), but overall nice comfortable bach.

The house had everything we needed and more. The only TV we could get to work was in the front bedroom and only 1 channel so that was a bit disappointing. It was a very quick car trip to the main beach, which is quite stunning. There was every shop we needed locally and we especially enjoyed our take out Indian. Plenty of hot water for showers and huge fridge. Would recommend.

Everything we needed for a relaxing holiday by the beach. Good outdoor areas with plenty of space for relaxing or playing games. Great location just a short walk from the beach. Spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage to unpack if you want to. Overall a great place that we would be keen to visit again.

Lovely tidy property so close to the beautiful beach. We really enjoyed the stay and were grateful for the air conditioning and the outdoor shower. We did have some trouble with a tv in the bedroom and couldn't get it working (maybe user error) One recommendation I would make is for there to be more cleaning products on hand for the departure day. I did my best with what there was on hand but I would like to of done a better job. I looked for the vacuum for 20 mins. lol

Great set up would make really nice base for a beach holiday. Only conern was many of the cleaning produces were close to empty. And i'm not sure mopping the wooden floors is the right treatment for them.

The location is amazing, right next to Ruakaka beach. The house is a nice small location for a gathering and having friends. The property is well maintained and has a great sense of getting away from the stress of work and technology. Overall had a great time and would love to visit again.

Place was well suited for a fishing sojourn as plenty of space to park a boat , quiet and private but close to shops and the ram as well as a very short walk to the beach. Cupboards were well stocked with the condiments ( very much appreciated) and all other amenities were just fine

Our family were attending a tangihanga in Whangārei, and this lovely place was our home away from home for three nights. We'd originally booked for two nights, but when we found out the burial was another day ahead I contacted the owner and they very kindly allowed our whānau to extend our stay without charge. We were blown away by their generosity and will definitely be returning for summer holidays. Thank you so much!

Had an awesome weekend away even though the weather wasn't the best. We still made the most of it with our little family. Great location close to the beach and small shopping center near by was handy. Toddler bed in the master bedroom was great to have for the little one. And having Netflix was a bonus. Overall was a good experience, thanks again for your hospitality.

We had a very nice stay here as a treat for my wife's birthday. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more. Location was great and the house was very well equipped. Comms with Rikki was prompt and very easy. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the fully furnished single storey friendly 3 bed home with outdoor barbecue deck. There were 5 of us who were able to stay. Unfortunately 2 extra family members couldn’t because they brought their doggy ('thems' the rules) otherwise we had everything we needed, so comfy and quiet and within walking distance to the beach. Highly recommended for families/groups.

Loved staying here, such a quiet area and super close to the beach. Great house, plenty of room and facilities. I was here by myself but next time will be bringing the family. I would definitely stay here again and Rikki was very accommodating with some of the date changes we had to do. Highly recommend.
