This two-story home sits on the banks of Silva Branch, which meets up with Happy Hollow (an inlet of Douglas Lake) just up the road. If you're looking to fish for crappie and largemouth bass, head to the boat ramp at the TVRA Flat Creek Access (eight miles) or visit Sevier County Park (nine miles) on the lakeshore. Watch your kids explore, teach them to skip stones on the pond, and roast marshmallows all together around the firepit each evening.

Cute place. Clean and neat.

First I'd like to say that I reached out to the Vacasa property management group about all of these issues to which there was no resolve.
The unit was severely overpriced for what it is. The Vacasa group charges WAY TOO many fees.
Arrival:
The check in process was easy.
Cleanliness:
I got a text saying the unit was spotlessly clean and ready for us but when I arrived there were dirty linens, the floor had stains, the comforters were nasty and had stains. I opened the packaged sheets/comforters as extras and they all smelled moldy.
Home itself:
Door handle is falling off the door so front door is hard to close.
The additions on the house make it so awkward to navigate. The stairs are very steep (as a warning, we were ok but VERY steep). The hot water kept running out. I reached out to the group to troubleshoot and they told us to wait for a technician but no one ever showed up.
I know the house is old but the floors were so uneven.
Kitchen:
Dishwasher was out of order had a sign on it.
There was a sign that stated please don't use all of the amenities- there was only dried up spices on a spice rack to use. There were 4 ketchup packets and No coffee filters. Pans were caked and couldn't use them.
Overall I'm so disappointed in this rental mainly because of the amount of fees that they charged me.
The only nice thing was the yard, pond, and creek.

We had a great time, weather didn't cooperate but can't hold Vacasa responsible for that. The family members that were our guests enjoyed it.

We absolutely loved this home. The home was so spacious and accommodating for what we needed. We loved how much land the home is on and enjoyed spending most of our mornings outside on the patio/ walking the grounds. The home itself was very beautiful and cozy. We loved the little comfort touches like the electric fireplaces and heaters to keep us warm at night. We also really loved the pet amenities like the kennel which helped put us at ease of keeping our dog safe and secure while we ventured to non-pet friendly places, and the ground hooks that we were able to secure our dogs leash to so he could roam outside hands free. We would book this home again in the future for our next trip to The Smokies. The home was within close proximity to everything we wanted to do but was far away enough from the condensed areas that we truly felt like we were tucked in a peaceful quiet area. We really enjoyed our time here.

My wife and I liked the country feel and closeness to Sevierville. Amenities were an extra pleasant addition.

We had an amazing time here for the weekend! It was clean and spacious, nice area and we love the fire pit! Would definitely rent again! Only issue we had was our GPS tried to take us a back way that's been blocked off for a couple of years. It lead us down gravel roads that weren't the best! May advice to any future renters, if the GPS takes you on a gravel road, turn around immediately and go back!

We only stayed the weekend but happily surprised with everything. The cleanliness, the size of the spaces, and how easily accessible it is to things.

very remote location but quiet and peaceful and good fit for our dogs
