An excellent property, nicely maintained and wonderful host. A must have experience for home stay.

Stayed at Colonel s Abode at Agra on our way back from a long road trip. It was a home away from home. Aesthetically maintained property and everything was very neat and clean. The hosts Mrs and Mr Group Captain.Dr Kunwar Jai Pal Singh Chauhan were very hospitable. We got late but they waited for us , giving us directions for locations and offered us hot tea at 10 pm. We are touched by their sweet gesture and have become friends for life. Looking forward to to see you both in Delhi. Thanks and regards

Home away from home

Sir and Ma'am are very considerate, welcoming and warm. Pretty house with so many antiquities and exceptional hosts. Food was good too, esp. the tea, my family is a tea lover. It was a pleasant experience.

Bathroom could have been cleaner but it was good.

Home like feel.

Food was like home with utmost care of hygiene. Room was well maintained and clean. All the amenities were there. Owner is an ex-airforce officer Dr JPS chauhan is a gentleman and very soft spoken person. Both uncle and aunty try their level best to make guest comfortable. Small fridge was there in the room contained many drinks. Really enjoyed. Smart TV was in the room. You can watch it after connecting to wifi. Wifi speed was good. Jacuzzi was also there 😌😌. Very good and maintained garden. Greenary all sides

Exceptional

We had an amazing stay at Colonel's abode. The photos were accurate of the property. Colonel Chauhan and his wife are very welcoming, immediately you will feel at home. The rooms are clean, food is delicious. You can ask them anything at anytime. We would love to stay with them in future as well.

Exceptional

I liked everything about this property, the nature of owner, the rooms, the cleanicity nature, the beautiful atmosphere, we stayed here for 2 days only but we feel like we should live here some more days... Overall everything is perfect actually perfect is very small word for it but seriously I loved it nd would be loved for future stays also.

7 star experience with 5 star facilities . . . :-)

It was a seven star experience wrapped in lots of love and care. Best experience till date. Specially the food, we will miss it for months . . ..!! You will feel like at home . Chauhan Sir very swiftly arranged for Doctor and medicines early in the morning in a medical emergency. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Uncle chauhan (owner of the property)was very helpful in nature and was very friendly. He helped us a lot by telling us about the local food and at what time to visit the tourist places. He treated us very well and also asked our feedback to improve the services.

A wondrous experience !!

I booked this hotel for my parents for their stay a week long stay in Agra and wanted the best stay possible. After reaching this place, we truly felt the meaning of the word "HOME"stay, the BESTest place possible in all over AGRA. Uncle, Aunty and everyone treated me and my family like their own... Not exaggerating, but They really made the tastiest food all around in here. They maintained a top notch hygiene & service quality. They were always available for any type of need. They even personally assisted my parents during their tour around in AGRA. We not only shared a week with them, but now I think, we share a bond of lifetime with them. Thank you for hosting us and making this special trip for my parents much more than exception and memorable for all. Hope to spend such weeks again with you :)

Best place to stay in all of India! Highly recommend this gem!

I can't even put into words what a special place the Colonel's Abode is. From the personalised welcome and the care for my safety as a female traveller to the little details throughout the house (toothpaste, toothbrushes, mini-fridge, hair dryer, etc) the family had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It felt like home but equally it felt sad to leave. The food was some of the best food we have had in India let alone in all our travels! We really enjoyed spending time with the whole family and exploring Agra in our free time when I wasn't working (the room was very comfortable for remote work too). This places really is a gem and I can't recommend it enough!

Wonderful stay- Highly recommended!

Everything and everyone! Perfect hosts - smiling, courteous and very helpful. Food was delicious, prepared with love and a good culinary hand! Rooms were large and well fitted, comfortable. Loved it - Highly recommended!

BEST HOSTS EVER. Amazing house with all necessary facilities. Hygiene is taken extremely well care of. Peaceful and green surroundings. Captain Chauhan and Asha Ji are the best hosts I've ever had. Extremely cooperative and motivating. Desperately waiting to visit them many more times. Colonel's abode is the place I'm going to choose for all my Agra stays.
