For the price the place was really not what you would expect. Non functioning amenities, loud clientele in and out of loud doors. Water pipes making loud noise throughout night. Just not a really well kept up place.

The hotel was not well maintained. Carpets were ripped and frayed, the toilets clogged easily, wallpaper was coming off the walls, and it just a very seedy place.
The staff was friendly but the interior needs a lot of work.

The hotel is a bit runned down but basically clean. Looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years.

The price we paid was absolutely not worth the stay we experienced. While the bedding and towels were clean, that's about the only thing clean. Rust in the bathtub and sink. Faucet dripped throughout the night. Wallpaper falling off the walls. Very disappointing.

Poor lobby, no handicap ramp, not what I expected, bad breakfast

Our stay was for two nights from August 23-25, 2024. This inn is not quality. Almost everything needs to be upgraded. The condition of the room, while clean, was marginal. The wall paper is failing, there was mold in the bathroom, the remote for the TV didn't work, and the room was not refreshed and the bed remained unmade with the pillows moved to the chair when we returned to the room for our second night stay. I worked with the front desk to get a remote for the TV to work, we never did, but I got one where the one/off worked and I used the buttons on the side of the TV to change channels and volume. The mold in the bath would have been a non-starter, but we did not notice it until the second morning when we opened the shower curtain and so it was too late to request a different room. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Nick who was great. The breakfast is very basic and the only hot menu item was except waffles. They smelled very good in the morning, but we don't eat waffles. The hallway carpets are worn and our room door was weathered looking, even though it is an inside door. I would not recommend this place until it is remodeled.

This hotel needs a major renovation. The price that they charge is too much for the way the hotel looks and smells. They left dirty towels hanging behind the door from the previous client in the bathroom, the walls had stains dripping down, the room floor had gum stuck on the rug, the room was dingy, There is no elevators so you walk up and down the stairs luckily there is only 2 floors. The second floor smelled like weed and the room smelled like cigarettes the halls are poorly lit. The ice machine on the first floor was disqusting and dirty .At breakfast they had expired yogurt, there chairs are all ripped apart , their toaster wasnt working on one side. I wouldnt stay there again.. find another place. If i could i would get a refund..

I am handicapped and they do not have an elevator and they put me in a second floor room.

Front desk service was great. Except for stairways, the hotel could use a good upgrade for the price

Convenient spot close to Cortland University. Property is old and outdated. Room was a bit dirty and had wallpaper peeling off the walls. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly

It should have been called “Low Quality Inn”. Our room smelled, the wallpaper was coming off and it looked like mold on the bathroom wall. Carpet was damp and well worn. Breakfast was available but we decided to eat at Perkins next door. It needs an update badly.

Facility is “tired” . There is no elevator to the second floor, which makes it difficult with luggage.

Nice bed! I wish the tv in the motel room had more tv channels!

I had a week booked but only stayed one night. The bath tub drain in the shower wasn't draining very good! The bathroom faucet was leaking. Spider webs in room. Wall paper was coming off the walls. And mold around the bathtub shower area.

The ladies at the desk were amazing, I have always been in in business and customer service is everything. And they were wonderful. The bed was super comfortable with that said the rooms could use some attention as far as being spiffed up. it was a safe comfortable place to stay and I had no problems, and a nice little continental breakfast in the morning. Thank you .

I paid 150$ for a hotel that should have cost 49$, I figured by the price it would be a very nice place, it was horrible , stained sheets, very worn and uncomfortable beds, the bathroom door wouldn’t even shut… never again

I changed rooms due to the room being moldy and very damp.
Now I was sitting on the bed and a bedbug just crawled on my leg !

Would never recommend to anyone
Wallpaper peeling away in bathroom
Ice bucket still dirty
No coffee available in lobby as machine "broke"
Holes in hallway carpet
Doors to rooms all worn
Not worth the little extea savings compared to other hotels

Place look run down. Inside was dark and gloomy, stairwells look like a place out of a horror film. Hall carpet was ripped & needs to be replaced. Room stunk, happy I had air freshener. Room carpet had a nasty feeling when you stepped on it, bed lumpy pillows should be garbage. Slept with the light on. See why they don’t offer refunds. Staff was very nice!

When I was checking in there was what appeared to be a prostitute or someone strung out sitting on ground in front of front door.

Probably bottom three hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. The whole place smelled like smoke and our toilet didn’t work so I had to plunge it and fix the handle myself.

The desk personal was very friendly and cordial. The hotel is not new construction but everything is clean and organized. I would definitely return😀😀⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have spent countless nights in hotels throughout the US and Europe. This was THE worst. Arriving, the key we were given was for a room that had not been made. The next room key did not work. There was no elevator, which wasn't that much of an inconvenience, BUT the conditions of the stairs were deplorable. To that point, the banister in the stairs is constructed in such a way, that large bolts on the outside of the banister snag your hand. On two occasions I thought I had cut myself. The room. The wallpaper was peeling. The bathroom door did not close. All ice machines were broken. Therefore, no ice. I can go on and on. Frankly, the hotel should be shut down and Hotels.com at the least should drop it! In fact, I want my money back. Had I not arrived until late in the day after a 250 mile drive, I'd have walked out and taken another hotel. Deplorable is the right word for this place. In fact, now that my vacation is over, I am giving serious consideration to contacting the NY's health department and the Cortland health department.

Nobody works the front desk. Rooms are shabby with wall paper pealing, building is not safe.

Hotel was falling apart- mold in bathroom and cold shower- won't stay again

The rooms smell horrible, and nothing matches the picture because the pictures are modified with some app to look fresh. Breakfast options are added but make no sense because there is nothing really you will find to eat. This facility is not only old but also stuffy and smelly everywhere. It is not worth what they charge for each day of each room. I would never recommend anyone, nor will I visit this place anymore.

The room is a bit too small

The staff was friendly.
The hotel is outdated. There is no elevator to get to the 2nd floor; the carpet is ripped in numerous places; there were water stains in the shower; the wallpaper is torn and peeling off in numerous places. The free breakfast was extremely limited and only included coffee, tea, orange juice, 2 cereals, yogurt, toast, packaged muffins, and a waffle maker. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Smelled like urin. At first I thought it was animal but then realized that the toilet didn’t flush and it was human

When we got into the room it was dirty stains on both bed sheets and the was someone else's towel on the back of the door. also, the toilet was clogged so we never got to use toilet after the first try. there were holes in the wall ripped wallpaper with masking tape over what was small holes in the wall. stains on the carpet and ac unit needed to be wiped down. lastly one of the beds was lopsided and you would almost roll off the bed when you slept which wasn't long. went down next day to check out and the manager apologized and offered to take care of me next time we weren't that hotel, but I stated I would never come back to that place again especially because it was still $150

There was much dis-repair. Curtains were ripped, carpet on stairs worn through with large holes. Surprised that there was no mattress protector on the bed.
Staff was very friendly.
