Just a few steps away from the restaurants & shops downtown on Avenida Del Mar and only a short walk to the beach, this home is perfect for the active family of 8 seeking to stay close to the action with a home equipped with all the MUST HAVE AMENITIES!
This single-family home has 2 Separate Dwelling Units!
Main House is approx 837 sq ft and offers:
* Bedroom 1: - King Bed
* Bedroom 2: - Queen Bed
* Living Room
* Full Kitchen
* Full Bathroom + Tub
Guest House/Casita is approx 493 sq ft and offers:
* Bedroom 3: - (2) Twin Beds
* Living Room: - Futon
* Kitchenette with sink, small fridge & microwave
* Full Bathroom

Our home includes window mount A/C in the Front and Rear Homes, 3 parking spots (1 garage and 2 driveway), in-home laundry, bed linens, beach & bath towels, boogie boards, beach chairs/toys, sand umbrella, 3 Smart TVs, WiFi, Propane BBQ, Fire-pit, and to top it all off a private JACUZZI!!!!!

- Home has 4 stairs to enter and exit the Main Home.
PETS
This property accepts one (1) pet with a fee of $399 plus tax and applicable fees. All pets must be disclosed at the time of booking. Please note, not all breeds will be permitted on property and will be subject to the discretion of the property manager. Pets are not to be left unattended at any time. Should your pet become a nuisance due to excess barking and/or cause a threat/harm to other residents or guests, we will ask that you remove the pet from the property immediately or cancel your reservation without a refund of any kind. All potty accidents must be reported to the property manager immediately. Additional charges may be applied to cover the costs of repairs or damages caused by any pet.

The pictures online are very cute but we were disappointed. We stayed only 2 nights and moved to a hotel for our 2.5 week family vacation in OC. The house was very hot and the windows couldn't be opened. The backhouse was too hot as well. The portable AC units didn't work well. The owner promptly brought more portable AC units but they barely cooled the extremely hot house. The power in the back house kept going off. And the house was overall grimy and in very poor condition (everything was very old and haphazardly painted over or in need of replacement/renovation). The owner responded quickly at first, then quit responding when we asked for a refund. He immediately relisted the property once we left. The owner refunded us for one night of our stay, but we would like a refund for the remaining 17 nights since the property was uninhabitable. Our visit at the hotel was cool, clean, comfortable, close to the beach and half the price. We won't be renting from Tower 17 again. Hope this review helps others not to make the same mistake.

Our stay was great. The location is hard to beat and the property was as described. Tip: There is no dishwasher, so bring disposable plates/cups.

This house is wonderful. The location is incredible - it is steps from the heart of Del Mar St in San Clemente, and a short, easy stroll to the beach at the pier. It is perfectly appointed, very functional, great hot tub, and handy driveway and garage. 10/10. Highly recommend.
