This place is a dream. You might think the pictures make it look too good to be true, but honestly the pictures don't even do it justice. The view is beyond breathtaking, the house is immaculate, the owner provided helpful instructions and was super responsive to communications. Truly the stay of a lifetime. When we arrived the whole mountain was in a cloud. (it's in a cloud forest after all). You couldn't even see a foot or two past the deck. At first I was bummed, thinking we wouldn't get the view we had hoped for. And then, soon after, and so much faster than I have ever experienced clouds moving, the fog just melted away down the mountain, revealing the mountain and far expanse little by little like they were lifting a curtain for us. It was such a cool experience, and honestly made the view even more dramatic afterwards! Also, we went in August, which is not a time of year when the monkey's are out much. Our two kids were pretty sad they didn't get to see any during the whole first part of our trip. So when they awoke to find 5-7 monkeys playing around on the porch and trees and even bouncing on the net they were beyond delighted. The owner has a pully with bananas on a rope about 10 feet out from the porch and it draws them in. Nothing like relaxing in a hot tub watching monkeys eat bananas all around you. It was wonderful and I was so grateful they had set that up!

We only stayed here one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Quiet out of town location with amazing views. Kids loved the net lounge and hot tub above the jungle.

From the moment you walk to the front door and everything after is amazing. The hot tub with the view brought a new level of relaxation to our journey. You can’t leave out the comfortable bed and shower with an outdoor view. Everything is thought of and the host provided great communication. We will be back.

Words can’t describe how amazing the house was! The views were beautiful, the hot tun was amazing and there was a lot more space then I thought there would be. It was also really easy to find and just minutes from the town area. The host was extremely responsive and gave wonderful area suggestions. Highly recommend! Don’t miss out on this unbelievable property!

Absolutely amazing location and property! Wonderfully private, with an incredible view. Howler monkeys will wake you up in the morning, saw capuchin monkeys and coati as I drank coffee on the deck in the morning! Everything you need for a relaxing stay, the hot tub was perfect to watch the most amazing sun sets! Afternoons get a bit hot without air conditioning but made for perfect time for a trip to town. Host was super helpful with recommendations for tours and restaurants. Highly recommend sloth experience at Selvatura, make sure to book ahead, mornings are better!

Absolutely beautiful and cozy villa, with incredible views. Super comfortable. Just wish we'd stayed longer. Five stars for sure.

Great communication with owner who made sure we found it. Attention to detail is outstanding. Property is a very special and unique experience and there's no way to explain the visual experience unless you see it for yourself.
