About this house rental
Perfect base for trades coming to work in Hervey Bay. Enjoy this private and modern home, the backyard of which leads to a path which takes you on an easy walk down to Dundowran beach. This home sleeps 8 people in existing beds. A master bedroom with King bed and ensuite bathroom area upstairs and three queen bedrooms downstairs. There is a shaded alfresco area with BBQ on site for outdoor entertaining. This a great base for teams needing to base themselves in Hervey Bay for a job or project.
This home has been comfortably furnished to maximise the enjoyment of families and groups of friends who choose to come and stay so close to beautiful Dundowran Beach. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast for the crew, which might include some fresh seafood from the local fish market which is only 10 minutes’ drive away, or bring back some fish and chips and pop down to the beach to watch the colours at the sun sets on the day.
The kids can watch a movie on Netflix in the lounge, whilst you and the other adults enjoy a beverage in the separate outdoor entertaining area.
Grab the esky full of beverages and oysters with a picnic blanket and head down to the beach to enjoy the last of the sun for the day, then wander home by what feels like your own private path back to your home. The beach is so close, you could even prepare breakfast at home and walk down to the beach to eat then start the day with a cook ocean swim.
The kitchen is well equipped but if you’re in holiday mode, grab some takeaway food, a bottle of your favourite drop plan an evening stroll along Dundowran beach with your beloved…. and the kids!
If you’re staying for work, this property is well equipped with fast unlimited wifi and a desk for you to use with your laptop, with a beach close by to inspire and refresh you when you need a break.

• Great Straits Marina to board your whale watching cruise – 15-minute drive
• Take a day trip to K’gari to snorkel and swim with the kids (Fraser Island)
• Reef fishing

• Feed ‘Sam’ the Green turtle at Reefworld Aquarium
• East out along the Esplanade – the Spotted Goat Kitchen, Salt Café, Odyssey to name a few
• Close to key amenities such as Stockland Shopping Centre, Hervey Bay Hospital, St Stephen’s Private Hospital and the Fraser Coast Airport.
Guest have access to the house and gardens. There is no access to the garage.

EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS:
May be possible however we do recommend you to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. If a guest is checking out on the day of your arrival, housekeeping needs time to prepare everything and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:
May be possible depending on bookings and housekeeping schedules. Please reach out the day before check out to see if this is possible.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
To manage expectations, we provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking but to avoid having to immediately head to the supermarket on arrival.
LINEN: We supply hotel quality linen and bath towels for your stay.
INFANTS:
For families traveling with infants, please note that you will need to supply linen. Due to the sensitive nature of precious baby skin and the detergents often used by large commercial laundries, it is much better for you to use fabrics that are familiar to your baby's skin to avoid any sensitivities or allergic reactions.
- No noise after 10pm and refrain from causing disturbances to the neighbours to avoid having them complain to local authorities.
- Strictly no parties allowed. Infringement on this rule may result in eviction without refund. Any additional time for the housekeepers to attend or inspect the property outside of their usual cleaning will result in additional administrative fees.
- We will ask for photo ID and a selfie of the person making the booking, primarily to confirm they are over 25 years of age and match the details of the person making the booking. For 3rd party bookings we will need the photo ID of the primary guest staying at the property.
- If there is any damage to the property please inform the host ASAP as additional charges may apply.
- If the Fire and/or Emergency Services are called out due to a guest fault (including for false fire alarm call outs) the fee will be passed on to the guest to pay.
- No pets allowed on the property. Additional charges may apply to those who ignore this rule.
- In the event that keys are lost/ damaged/ locked inside the property any time during your stay or check-out, we may need to call a locksmith and additional expenses will be charged to your account. If the cleaner’s or property manager’s schedule is affected by this, further charges may apply.
- Check-out time is 10am. If the cleaner is not able to clean on time, a delayed entry fee may apply. If you require late check-out, please contact the host 72 hours before check-out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
- If you leave any items behind by accident, we are happy to post them back to you. However, we will need to compensate our housekeepers or managers for the postage fee and their time.
-We provide toiletries to get you started. Feel free to visit the nearest grocery store should you wish to restock for yourself.
- Take care of the property and avoid making a mess within the premises. Leaving dishes unwashed or having food items out in the open tend to attract pests and insects that may require pest control. This may be charged to your account as applicable.
- Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. Charges may apply for additional cleaning and deodorisation of the property.
- Excessive use of utilities such as water, electricity, and WIFI may result in additional charges. Please don’t disconnect the internet.
- Where a porta cot is provided, this is used at the guests own risk. The owner and hosts do not accept any liability should anything occur during its use.
- Only guests on the original booking may stay overnight.
- No illegal activity or running a business from the premises.
- BBQ’s - Where there is a BBQ present, please leave it clean. If our cleaners need to clean the BBQ following guest stay then an additional $50 cleaning fee will be charged.

Nice location near quiet beach. Outside nice house. Inside the house is pretty outdated and lacks standard kitchen utensils etc. Poor cleaniness. Only 1 bedroom has an airco (meaning that it can be very hot in other bedrooms at nights).
Dont like push from agency for having a 5-star rating; its just overrated for us.
