Overall the Villa it self was phenomenal <3

Everything was excellent. The villa was beautiful; the host had everything you could ever ask for in this villa, and being next to beautiful farm animals (Goats and chickens) made it that much more beautiful. On top of the animals, shout out to our new dog friends Merlin and Lilly, who are such beautiful animals who will visit you and keep you company throughout your stay. Thank you to the host for this beautiful villa.

To be honest, the main reason I booked this villa was because the pool looked amazing in the photos, and its aesthetic really drew me in. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the pool wasn't part of the villa itself but was actually located at the owner's house nearby, making it a shared pool area. While that’s totally fine, as introverts, we felt a bit shy about using the pool since it was at the owner's place. In the end, we didn’t get to use it as much as I had hoped, which was a shame since the pool was the main reason I booked the villa in the first place.

One night stay in Sanctuary Ridge

Everything we needed was provided for and more. Perfect for anyone who wants to explore the surrounding area. It was a very relaxing stay. We could tell that the host really wanted us to have a pleasant experience and they succeeded. There is also a lovely dog who greeted us in the morning which was a great surprise!

We enjoyed every part of our stay. Not much to say here.

EVERYTHING! THE HOSTS, THE POOL, THE SPACE, NATURE IS ALL AROUND, NOTHING OTHER THAN BEAUTIFUL! Loved having the hosts fur baby come pop in!

This was probably the nicest accommodation we had in the three weeks we were in New Zealand. The cabin is brand new and fully appointed. there were lots of little touches like flowers and chocolates. You are in the middle of a hobby farm with chooks and cows and goats. They all seemed friendly. Just as we were leaving we were visited by a cat and a border collie.

The pool is not handy. I don't know where it is but it was not readily available. I think it is somewhere near the main house. We were not inspired to have a swim. Seriously, the value is so good without the pool they should just drop it from the listing.

Clean, comfortable and easy.

Location was good, private and tranquil. The accommodation was very modern and exceptionally clean.

The only challenge I had was the fact that there was no wardrobe/ place to hang my clothes. I was travelling for work and had business attire...but equally, if I was there for a wedding/ social event, then I would have required a place to hang my pressed clothing.

The host was really easy to communicate with, all facilities were really clean and stoked with the presentation of the property. Will definitely be back for a stay in the future both for work and personal travel when I'm in Tauranga.

It was nice and memorable stay there.

The accomodation was clean, tidy, quiet & comfortable and it was just about 15 mins drive away from city centre.

It was slightly difficult to find the entrace at night time.

Not so much a dislike but we had assumed from the photos that the pool and jacuzzi was where the villa was not knowing it's actually up at the main house. We still were able to use it and loved it!

The villa was beautiful! It had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy! The hosts were also very kind.

The only thing I would've liked to have known before booking was the location of the pool and spa. Before arriving we had the impression the pool and spa would be located directly next to the villa. I wasn't at all aware that the hosts even lived on the property. There were also no curtains on the windows in the kitchen/living area which enabled anyone driving past to see inside the villa.

As it states.. a sanctuary. No issues. Would definitely be coming back.

Only thing I would say the description states swimming pool and hot spa.. couldn't really see it anywhere.. would recommend clear directions stated outside to find it. Other than that the place is lovely. Would recommend.

The villa is fitted with every luxury you can think of. From beautiful scented candles and soaps to thick fluffy towels, scandinavian recliners with throws to match, a pantry with much more than just the condiments, and a bed that makes you feel like your floating. The attention to detail is truly amazing! The farm animals are an added bonus and the hosts are super friendly they made us feel welcomed.

Exceptional

We arrived during a weather event, in the dark and were very grateful when Brendon met us at the gate. We were planning to go out to dinner but due to the weather it wasn't safe. Our wonderful hosts provided us with the ingredients to put together a lovely meal. After one night, due to their amazing and much appreciated hospitality, we left rejuvenated. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer, but we will be back.

Perfect home away from home

This was by far one of our favorite stays during our trip. Both the layout of the villa, the awesome hosts, and the surroundings were absolutely perfect. It's a beautiful farm setting, with a gorgeous clean quiet villa , a tennis court, and lovely garden. Close to shops and restaurants. Brendan and Janelle were always available for us and also offered us vegetables/fruits from their garden. SANCTUARY RIDGE has everything you could ask for and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Janelle, Brendan, Merlin, Hunter, and Lilly for making us feel at home. :)

Absolutely nothing, you wouldn't have changed a single thing. Just wished we had more time to stay longer
