Beautiful view, very friendly staff and accommodating.
Bugs but not really

My wife and I recently returned from an incredible journey to the Palawan archipelago, and our stay at Perch for 4 days was nothing short of exceptional. Without hesitation, we can say it was the best resort experience we've ever had.
Perch is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of nature, boasting 5 completely independent villas perched on the edge of the sea, offering breathtaking views of the El Nido Islands. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty surrounding us.
The staff at Perch were incredibly warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the very start. The property itself is relatively new and impeccably maintained, with cleanliness maintained at the highest standard throughout our stay.
Each villa at Perch offers a sense of privacy and exclusivity, allowing us to fully unwind and immerse ourselves in the serenity of our surroundings.
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the panoramic views of the El Nido Islands, which we were treated to each day from the comfort of our villa. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the horizon was a truly magical experience that we will never forget.
For anyone seeking tranquility, relaxation, and natural beauty, Perch is undoubtedly the perfect destination. We left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and already planning our return to this little slice of paradise. Thank you, Perch, for an unforgettable stay – we can't wait to come back!

La vue exceptionnelle !! La chambre était encore mieux en vrai.
Le personnel au top, toujours souriant et efficace.
La belle plage en bas de l’établissement ainsi que l’accès simple et rapide à la ville.
Tout était parfait.

The Perch exceeded our expectations. It was located high in the hills and away from all the noise. The view was exceptional as well as our host. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Nothing was too difficult. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying and the infinity pool was just amazing.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about our stay.

- Most beautiful view in all of El Nido, especially for the sunset.
- Gorgeous & comfortable rooms. By far the best compared to all the other accommodation in the area. Bathroom is HUGE plus at it is clean, modern and opens up to a balcony overlooking the beach.
- Delicious breakfast.
- Beautiful infinity pool.
- Lovely and helpful staff with whom we had no issues communicating in English. Responsive to our needs e.g. airport pick-up.
- Included in the stay is unlimited pick-up and drop-off to nearby Vanilla Beach.
- Secluded and private. Perfect for those slow days where you need to unwind and relax (compared to bustling El Nido Beach and Vanilla Beach areas).
- No in-house kitchen (aside from breakfast, food has to be ordered from nearby shops in Maremegmeg).
- On top of a VERY steep hill; not even the tricycles and hired scooters can get up there. You have to be picked up and dropped off by the in-house driver who is contactable on WhatsApp. Sometimes they are busy and don't immediately see your message. A bit worrisome if you don't have internet reception. Longest wait for pick-up was about 20 minutes, but they usually average 5-10.
- Maremegmeg Beach is NOT walkable from this location.
- You have to climb/descend steep stairs to get to your little villa.
- As it is west-facing, it gets ridiculously hot in the afternoon (and you are discouraged from leaving the AC running when leaving the accommodation).
- Cash-only (for deposit and settling pending bills upon check-out). Make sure to bring at least PHP 10,000 with you as there is no ATM on-site.
Given the above, the property was quite pricey for what was on offer.

Breakfast was incredible, just what we felt like
Location was a bit secluded which we liked - was always able to get a lift up the hill by the shuttle van.
Pool and eating area was incredible - great views and very serene
Rooms were great and very private

View from the balcony and nets on the doors(rare) ❤️ and lady Rose is wonderful: upgraded our room and was very attentive to all details
Price for such villa is unreliable, villa is too old, tasteless, soap for hands smells like old grandma, stuff at the restaurant is unfocused and don’t really care, conditioning is so old you cannot sleep with it: felt like factory working room.

Whether you are in the infinity pool or from the bedroom, the views are stunning.
The room itself was spacious, super comfortable and the shower with a view was definitely a big plus.
The common areas are perfect to relax and have a chat if you feel like it.
The private chauffeur is definitely needed to get up and down between the beach and the property as it’s super steep and the property offers one which was awesome. The staff was absolutely incredible, always here to help to make everything easy.
Unfortunately there were hidden costs such as water bottles and whenever you would ask the chauffeur to be dropped a bit further than the usual spot. It’s not about the money but more about communication. I think it would have been better to communicate those costs in advance.

The property is situated high up on a mountain with unbeatable views. The staff are very attentive and polite, looking out for tourists every need. The room was beautifully curated, spacious, and very comfortable.
The villa isn’t situated smack bang in the town centre (~12 min drive away) which wasn’t a problem for us at all but something to be mindful of.

A lovely retreat with impeccable view. Property is located on a private part of the mountain so it’s super exclusive and quiet. After exploring a few spots for sunsets, I’d say our hotel balcony has by far the best sunset view. Overall, our room was clean, newly furnished and nicely decorated.
Despite some minor inconvenience during check in, the staff, particularly Mayette, was very attentive throughout our 8-day stay. Driver was helpful to take us up and down hill to McDonald’s which was super handy.
We encountered some minor setbacks while checking in (no on duty staff, no induction & unclear instructions). I reckon the place was slightly overpriced, given the extent of service we received.
This is a fairly new hotel so I understand staff might lack experience on greeting and briefing guests.
We had to actively consult staff to learn about the service offered and rules. Their friendliness and helpfulness has eventually made up for it.
There could be more hotel amenities to make it a more convenient stay, bathroom essentials/hair conditioner etc.

The location was magnificent: whether it was morning, the middle of the day, or at night the view from the dining area was spectacular. The food (breakfast) was delicious. We did not have a vehicle with us but the staff was always willing to drive us to McDonald's (Vanilla Beach) when we had to go somewhere and pick us up there whenever we were on our way back.
On two occasions, we had to wait for the cook to arrive to prepare the breakfast for us. Apparently he has to come from the town of El Nido itself so we had to wait for him.

My boyfriend and I had a great time in El Nido. This place and its staff were beyond what we could ever ask for. We were served with sumptuous breakfast. Everybody was so helpful even with the smallest things we needed. We felt so well taken care of. The whole place itself is just amazing especially the sunset is crazy beautiful! It is romantic :) Glad we’ve found this place
The location itself is above the hill. It is not for the faint of heart but at the same time, that makes it unique. If not for this location, we would not experience the beautiful views. I really value a little seclusion and quiet. It suits us better than dealing with party noise all night. The nearest places to eat and drink are reachable in 5-10mins so weren’t really missing out.

Loved our stay at Perch! These are luxurious villas, the most beautiful views, great pool and amazing breakfast. The staff is wonderful, Rose worked for many days with us to book a private boat experience (that was very specific haha), and the hotel manager and all staff were kind and super helpful.
Loved the location but it's quite remote and up a big hill! The staff make it super easy and will give you a lift down the hill to where you can easily take bikes/tricycles (tons to pick you up) so it wouldn't be a deterrent for me just something to be aware of.
