Our family stayed here for a summer vacation and it was absolutely lovely! Thank you!

The location is perfect, the cabin is very pretty, there's a lot of deers 🦌 wondering around, they are very friendly. Everything was clean, I highly recommend this property.

We loved the home. It was very spacious for 7 people. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare meals. The jacuzzi was very clean. We enjoyed our time here and will rent again.

House was advertised as ski in ski out but it is definitely not. After bringing this to someone’s attention we were simply given directions to the nearest ski resort. We have small children and the whole reason for booking this particular house was to make it possible to ski with the kids without the packing and loading required to ski with a bunch of small children. We also brought firewood on to find an out of order sign on the fireplace when we walked in. Anyway, we ended up leaving 10 minutes after arrival to go find a better option for us but was still charged for the home. Other then that I think it’s not a bad place if they just be transparent so that you know what your getting.

We arrived on a Sunday around 3PM. There was no welcome information or property introduction information. Shortly thereafter we discovered that more than 3 of the 6 beds had dirty sheets and comforters on them. We also noted that there were very few towels and only 2 washcloths available for 6 people for 3 days. I first called customer support and a ticket was made, no one was available that day to fix the problems. We removed the dirty sheets, comforters and throw pillows and went to buy laundry detergent. After washing the sheets I found the remainder of the cabin's towels and washcloths wet in the lint-filled dryer. The customer service rep did come out the next day and add water to the hot tub and bring extra laundry detergent.
We also noted that the lower floor was very cold while the upper floor was hot. After a few hours we were able to regulate the temperature a bit by using the numerous space heaters that we found on the bottom floor. Of note the fireplaces on the bottom and main floor were both out of order and could not be used for temperature management.
In general the house was not clean - old coffee/filters/pods in the coffee makers, food bits under the table, dust and dog hair everywhere, and dirty beds. The whole cabin needs some TLC - sinks don't drain, numerous broken tiles are trip hazard, unusable fireplaces, firepit unusable with broken surrounding furniture, dated furnishings which suffer more from being dirty.

Location: This was the best part of the cabin. It is a 5 minute walk to ski, and makes it easy to come and go.
Cleanliness: The bathrooms and sheets were clean, but the whole cabin needs a deep clean. Cobwebs and dust bunnies. There were leftover chips and goldfish in the living room on the coffee table.
Issues: When we arrived there was a sign on the fireplace that let us know that it was out of order and that it needed to be inspected before use. On a cold weekend, this was something we were all looking forward to. The next day we were notified that the upstairs fireplace actually did work, but we missed out on the first night.
Next was the hot tub. We opened it upon arrival and it was green and smelled absolutely disgusting. I notified the owner and they sent someone promptly. Maintenance said it needed to be drained. He came the next day, drained and refilled it, and let us know it would be ready in 3 hours. By midnight day 2, it was not warmer than 60°. This was especially disappointing to our teenagers that didn’t ski, and were looking forward to it.
Overall experience: When you go on vacation, even to a rustic ski cabin, you expect things to be in working order and decently clean, esp. when paying premium $ for a peak ski wknd. They did let us know that we’d be refunded for the hot tub but didn’t specify amount. We have not seen that come through and it’s been a week. Overall it was an underwhelming experience and place to stay and we will probably not stay here again

We took a group of 9 people and it fit everyone with ease. It was so comforting and very much needed for a getaway trip with your friends! The hot tub was our favorite thing about this place. 10/10. Although if you’re a tall person, you may hit your head a couple times lol!

I went here mid/ end of October and it was perfect! The kitchen is fully stocked with any utensil or pot/pan you’d need. The place was very clean and spacious. Would definitely return!

Loved every second in Beech Mountain. The cabin is absolutely adorable and has plenty of space for everyone! I felt like Snow White as I was completely surrounded by wildlife! The little fairy lights outside gave this space an extra sparkle! Can’t wait to come back!

We love the location of this house....East to reason to everything we like in Beech Mountain like Fred's Mercantile, the Brick Oven Pizza place, the brewery, and the dog park! Beds are comfy, and the hot tub by the creek is super relaxing.

Loved the decorations, string lights, hot tub, porches, and overall feel. There are a few maintenance issues with toilets and old heaters I think that need to be investigated for safety but great stay.

A-Frame-of-Mind is so well appointed, you will immediately feel all the comforts of home while enjoying a relaxing vacation amongst gorgeous views! The hot tub is icing in the cake!
