So close to the water. Love the full wall of windows. Bathroom update is great.

Had a great time.

Fantastic location, lake right outside the door, fantastic view with wall of windows. Older unit, adequate but could use upgrades. We were there during some colder (40's) nights. Space heaters helped but couldn't run them and microwave at same time due to breakers tripping. Unit has no insulation. I'm sure summertime would have been much more comfortable. Some spiderwebs in closets and remote areas otherwise cleanliness good for an older unit.

The location of the property is amazing! Literally steps from the water. There isn't any heat, and it got a bit chilly during our stay. However there are space heaters and lots of blankets. We're campers so we definitely were ok bundling up just go enjoy the view. The kitchen is small, but we'll stocked and there are plenty of beds! Would love to stay here during the summer when we can have the windows open!

We felt this property was not up to VRBO standards. The cabin may have been disinfected, but it was not clean. Floors were dirty and there were many spiders and crickets. The pans hanging on the kitchen wall had cobwebs inside them along with webs elsewhere in the unit. Bathroom walls were loose and should be redone. The electrical wiring needs updating esp where there are loose wires. We felt bunk beds were not safe for children due to lacking rails and close proximity to wiring. Be prepared to drive over the grass to get to your unit. Otherwise, the view of the lake was beautiful from inside and out.

My husband and I just stayed the weekend for an anniversary getaway. The little cottage was just what we needed and the view was phenomenal. We loved reading the history and memories this place holds and made us appreciate this little piece of property that much more. The view again was amazing. We enjoyed our coffee outside and just appreciated the peacefulness.
We would definitely love to return.
Thank you!

Enjoyed our weekend very much and spent a lot of time along the water. Awesome to have paddle boat available. Cottage is older, but charming. It was like walking back in time. Cold and windy when we arrived. Our first night was spent under blankets and in front of space heaters that were provided. No TV so a lot of water, star and animals gazing. Will visit the area again!

The property is fairly basic but with very comfortable beds, a small but very adequate kitchen well stocked with table service and utensils. But the view is spectacular! The entire front wall of the cottage from floor to ceiling is jalousie windows with a panoramic view of the lake and is only 20 feet from the shore. I look forward to going back. Nearby vineyards are also a draw.

We wanted to try out a late May lakeside visit and this cottage worked out very well. The cottage is small as is clearly stated in the description, but the entire front of the cottage is a window looking out to the lake maybe 15 feet away. We enjoyed the view from inside and outside the cottage. It really is a very private beachfront in a nice location even though as is true of most lakeside cottages there are nearby properties. I'm sure the area gets busier later in the summer but if you are looking primarily for a place along the lake for a small group this is a good choice at a good price. Access to the water is easy either by walking in (as we did with our kayaks) or swimming from the dock (which we did not do as it wasn't that warm). We enjoyed kayaking and seeing wildlife to the south as we saw bald eagles, osprey, deer, and blue heron. Checking in and out was easy and we had no need to contact the owner as everything was in good order during our 3 day visit.
