Beautiful, modern, second level, condo in a historic building overlooking the Mississippi River by lock and dam 12. View barges locking through, fishermen, eagles, and more. Located in the quaint and quiet town of Bellevue Iowa and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and River Ridge Brewery . Take a stroll along the beautifully landscaped riverfront, drive a short distance or hike to Bellevue State Park overlooking the river and town high up on the bluffs. Play golf on the river view golf course. Spend a day at the Off Shore Water Park. Dine Cajun style at Potters Mill in an old grist mill. Drive 10 miles to visit the Gehlen Barn, over 100 years old, and now a brewery. Visit the Mines of Spain, Crystal Cave, and Dubuque, Iowas first town. In winter, ski at Chestnut Mountain across the river. Large open kitchen/living room space, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Ample off street parking in the rear and street parking in front. Balcony to enjoy the river with grill for cooking.

This property was simply perfect for a vacation on the Mississippi. Views were wonderful. Owner was very quick to answer our questions. There was only one thing I would mention.. no Live TV so not able to watch Olympics, but It did have Roku/hulu… minor minor complaint. I will most certainly return!

!! Excellence !! Wonderfully furnished in a great location for a peaceful getaway. Quaint little town very quiet even the train down the middle of the street behind is quiet. Apartment is awesome bed is comfy with great sheets. Highly recommend!

Loved waking up each morning and having coffee on the balcony while admiring the Mississippi River. The house was updated and had everything we needed for a great stay. Location was great as we could walk conveniently to the locations we wanted to go. Host was great at communicating and check in process was very easy. Highly recommend.

Stairs too short and too many not Barbs fault. Lovely two bedroom. Please get rid of noisy fridge and polyester sheets. Other tan that great place!

This condo is located in a historic building with an excellent view of the Mississippi River. It has wonderful amenities- everything you can possibly need. The town is very picturesque. Would definitely recommend!

This is a very clean, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked, and there was soap and shampoo in the showers. The location is wonderful. We loved being able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The deck was great. It was fun to watch the river. The walking/biking path along the river is great. There is a nice state park nearby. Loved it here. Host was friendly and was quick to answer questions. Thank you for sharing your property!

Couldn't ask for better communication from the owner, several times we left messages with questions about the area etc... and most times within 5-10 minutes they replied. The place was very clean and updated real nicely and you couldn't beat the view of the Mississippi from the balcony. There was an occasional train, however it wasn't bad at all, it was so quiet and peaceful all the time there that it was noticeable when it was going through town. It was a peaceful and easy 40-45 minute drive to Galena either thru Davenport or Dubuque. We would encourage others to try this spot out as it's far enough away from the tourist craziness but yet close enough to go to it if you wish to. We will definitely stay here again when we get to that area again. Thank you for sharing this delightful place.
