It's cute and cozy aka tiny as heck. But you're near times square and close to the subway. yes, there's a lot of high traffic in the area but I think it's worth the stay.

Great location, friendly staff, however, the room was small and the walls so thin you can hear your neighbors. That could have partly been because it had linked doors on both sides. Street noise is so loud there are earplugs on the nightstand, which I used and helped a little. The blackout shade let in so much light I had to sleep with a T-shirt over my head.

Location was amazing! Price was good for NYC. Staff for the most part were friendly and professional

Tiny room, but totally acceptable in NYC. It's a modern place with well designed rooms to be space efficient. One side of the queen bed was up against the window. There is about a foot to scoot around the end and 4 feet between the bed and start of the shower- toilet or sink area. It all works, but it's small.

The room was small but comfortable.

Perfect location for me near Times Square. Just all the hidden extra irritated me

The best location in new york. Clean, tidy, comfy.

The location is amazing and the service was exceptional. The only downfall is that the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was perfect and I have no complaints.

It was excellent!!! It was home away from home!!!

Great value for money. Excellent location for a short visit to Manhattan.

This is a great option for staying in the Times Square area. We dont spend much time in our hotel room when visiting NYC. The hotel is a great value, comfortable, and safe.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Times Square ! Lovely room , we had great time !! The staff was very friendly and nice , always ready to help ! I will be back again here for my next trip to NYC

This is truly the smallest hotel room in America. Walk in the door and you're in the middle of your bathroom -- to your right is your vanity, which doubles as a closet. To the left a toilet and shower. Three steps in is the bed, advertised as a "cozy queen"...which means a full. If you go to the lobby to escape your tiny room, you're assaulted by the smell of incense that's so intense that I fled back to my room. I wouldn't ever stay here again.

Overnight trip to see a Broadway show. Great hotel and bar.

The hotel was perfect for us! As a single mom with two kids, we really liked the room for 3, with the twin bunk above the double bed. Great location, great service. We’ll be back soon. ☺️

We had the most amazing stay...already planning the next trip because we have absolutely fallen in love with the city and the hotel and location were perfect.

So I want to say that I am not uber rich. In fact, I am an average working-class girl who's job sent her to a seminar in the NY. So, I picked this hotel because it was close to NBC universal. A 7-minute walk. I didn't quite know that the hotel was also in the center of Times Square for those tourist. Lots of food places around (just beware they are all expensive except for the Popeye's and McDonalds around the corner). I arrived at about 4pm and there was a line for check-in but it moved fast. I loved the boutique and quaint-size room. Beware if you are coming with kids, there isn't a lot of space to run around but it was enough space for me. I loved the style, decor and functionality of the room. It had everything I needed. The room felt dust free as I have a bad dust allergy. They cleaned every morning without requesting for it. I worried about the noise as my room was next to the elevator and it was dead quiet despite how next to each other the rooms were. I barely heard sound from outside. Slept really nicely. Enjoyed the water refiller on the lobby for those of us who didn't go out to buy water. I loved the extensive cable channel selection for adults and kids (you don't find that these days). Honestly, except for how expensive NY is, this was a really pleasant stay. I had no complains. Also, they have a car service to the airport so compare if it is cheaper to use theirs or Uber. Free wifi is a plus. I did not try the restaurant. Enjoyed the somewhat free water.

There for NYC Marathon. Perfect location to Times Square. Top bunk a little awkward. Stairs straight could use a slight slant. Front desk people super friendly and helpful
2.5
Very comfortable and very safe. Only downside is not enough places to put or hang your clothes, but overall would definitely stay here again.

Clean and modern. Super quiet room, awesome location. Staff was so helpful- gave us early check in and late check out and even heated up food for my baby. Would 100% stay again

It was awful and I'm sorry we stayed there. The bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. I had a bruise on the back of my leg from trying to get out of it. Not to mention the room was also small. The outlets in the front of the room were not working the first day. Because the bed was so uncomfortable, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. The only good thing about the hotel was the bar. I will NEVER stay at Hotel Motel again.

We had a lovely stay in Motto time square. The location is very good its literally in time square. However when we arrived to check in the receptionist was kind of rude and she didn't explained what she will deduct to my cc i just found out that she deducted after we got home. I didn't saw her name so I can't name dropped it but her is black. But the check out was smooth and I think its the manager who greeted she is very pleasant. For the rooms, it was very well maintained but if you're sensitive with sounds there's an earplug you can use especially at night. Finally, we can't adjust the room temperature for the AC its a lil bit warm hopefully they can fixed it.

Receptionists are very rude (almost all of the 5). Poor service throughtout my 9 nights stay. There are about 4 to 5 moments that could have turned into a fight if they had a really bad tempered customer rather than me.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing due to several issues with customer service and billing management.
Upon arrival, I was surprised to see that the price calculation was done manually on a phone, which took a more than average amount of time and unfortunately had a negative impact on my experience right from the start especially after a long flight. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, especially in terms of service quality.
At checkout, the same process was repeated, once again leading to unnecessary delays and potential stress on the client side if he or she has a flight to catch.
The room was standard and in line with the description.
Additionally, the system does not allow for the issuance of an invoice that includes the total amount, making it difficult to track all the payments especially for me since I spent 14 days. The payment itself was not processed in a single transaction, further complicating the traceability.
At checkout, the staff member, who was the manager, showed a lack of professionalism by refusing to send the invoice via email and repeatedly evading questions by only saying, "This is third party, check with the bank and Expedia" without providing any helpful clarification and most importantly without ensuring that the client is satisfied.
As European clients, we are used to booking via the platforms and it seems that the staff were not used to dealing with those clients and were more at ease with the ‘Hilton Honors’ clients.

Room was small but for the price and very convenient location in Times Square it was perfect! The restaurant was great, we ate lunch and dinner there. Having a bar in the lobby was convenient. The staff was very pleasant. The area felt safe considering you are in the city. If wanting to tour the city this is a very convenient location. Easy to catch uber.

Friendly bar staff.

Upon arrival, the receptionists were not friendly, but the next day there were different receptionists who were very friendly and helpful. The elevators are slow at specific times, causing great inconvenience. The hotel's printer was failing and made it difficult to check the final bill. Very expensive for what little it offers.

Room was extremely small! Maybe only 140 ft.²

The hotel is perfect from beginning to the end. It’s clean and friendly. The location is super. It closes to all that the visitors can ask for. Time squares, Central Park, empire building, hudson yard, 911 memorial, Wall Street, Statue of Liberty, etc are all at reachable location. The only little thing to complain about is the noise from the air con. It woke me up several times on the first night. Since I changed the fan to lo, it’s ok for the rest of our stay.

Great stay, friendly and accomodating staff. Loved it. would stay again.

Our stay here was great. Easy access to all locations. A short walk to Central Park and shopping. Felt very safe walking around town!

Super small room, no desk, no chest of drawers, no closet. The bathroom and shower are right in front of the door. I made it work because it was just myself but there’s no way you can fit more than one person in one of these tiny rooms. On the positive front, if you’re there for business by yourself - it was clean, fairly inexpensive and conveniently close to Times Square.
2.5
Had a very pleasant stay at Motto. Bed was comfortable and the room functional despite the tiny size. You must know each other quite well as both toilet and shower in inside an ‘IKEA closet’ worked fine for us - myself and my 11 yo son.
The cleaning was spotless but I wonder why towels are changed every day even when they are thoroughly hung up by us. Also it doesn’t make any sense that you book a double room pay 10$ fee every day and only get citi-bike vouchers pr. night and not pr. person. Didn’t really have much contact with the staff but they seemed very nice.
Would love to come back:)

The rooms were so small. Like, SO SO small.
The daily "resort fee" felt like extortion, and I don't believe the customer gets much for it. They made promises that they didn't really do anything to deliver on. It's also annoying that it has to be paid separately than the rest of the reservation, if you, like me, are booking this on your employer's dime.
The immediate area is awful and stepping outside felt like getting radiation poisoning. But if you're trying to stay in Times Square, maybe that's what you want?
It's one third of a subdivided building shared with two other Hilton brands, which is felt in the fact that the rooms are about a third the size what one would expect from a hotel room.
For $600 a night, not great. Not great at all.
