Would not stay again

Breakfast was ok. Location was convenient

No staff anywhere, the room was tiny, the bed/pillows were hard, ac was not working properly, i had to complain about the noise.

Paid to much for the 3 night stay for the service that was given.

Very noisy over in the AM. Desk clerk attitude was unacceptable. Not enough breakfast for guest posted breakfast from 8am to 11am out of food at 8:15. Balcony was not clean.

Beautiful space for a great price,

Excellent location. It had a nice view with a pier. Beautiful building and rooms. Comfortable bed. Impressed with the space and pool.

Overall, my stay was a little expensive for the experience.

Room was very pleasant. The place was right next to a seafood restarant which was great also. Jacuzzi was clean and worked well. A/C worked really good.

Minor decor issues like the unmatched lamps on each side of the bed. Walls were thin and noise traveled a bit through them. The pool is very small and just three and a half feet deep. Bed was memory foam mattress.

Bliss by the Sea could not accommodate a guest with asthma because our room smelled like marijuana.

I never write bad reviews because I’m a business owner, and I understand how detrimental a bad review can be for a business. Because of this, I always try to handle any concern I have by first approaching management. This is the first negative review I have written about a business in years. When I arrived at Bliss by the Sea, my room and the entire hallway where my room was located, smelled like marijuana. I realize this may not be bothersome to many people, but I was traveling with a friend who has very severe asthma. We weren’t even in the room five minutes, and she began having trouble breathing. I called the receptionist (because no one was physically on the property), and I asked them if we could be moved to a different room. I explained the situation to her, and she said there were no other rooms available. Within the few minutes I’d spent on the phone, my friend’s breathing became so bad that we had to go outside. I called the receptionist back and told her we needed to cancel our reservation. She informed me that she could cancel the reservation, but she could not refund my money. I asked to speak with a manager or owner, and she said no one would be available until the next day. I asked what time to call back the next day, and she said she didn’t know when they’d be available to speak with me. I asked if she could have someone in management call me, and she said I would have to call them. The receptionist reiterated that their policy would not allow a refund even though the room and hallway were filled with marijuana smoke. I’m now in the process of filing a complaint with Booking.com to try and receive a refund. Severe asthma is a life threatening condition that is protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and a hotel that does not follow or enforce its own non-smoking policy and then keeps the money from a customer who cannot breath in the room they’ve reserved is in clear violation of complying with the ADA.

Das Haus ist spooky.

Die Lage ist toll mit schöner Terrasse.

Es gibt keine besetzte Rezeption. Es steht ein PC-Bildschirm am Empfang. Über diesen kann mit einer Dame gesprochen werden, die auf den Philippinen sitzt. Soll das die Zukunft in der Hotellerie sein? Insgesamt wirkt das Haus spooky, da nur am Morgen eine Dame für das Frühstück vor Ort ist, ansonsten nur Videoüberwachung. Die Fenster wurden wohl seit Jahren nicht mehr geputzt. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Over the years of traveling it wasn’t the worst place we’ve stayed, but we won’t stay again.

The location and view were great! The surrounding area and convenience to restaurants and beach. We were in the area to look for a vacation home. The breakfast buffet was ok, some real coffee creamer should be added. (Besides oat milk and almond milk) Beds were pretty comfortable.

The Inn needs Personalization. Inn staff were virtual-on a computer screen in lobby. Cleaning staff were present & kind. Not a cozy, inviting Inn. Our room was a bit small & cramped. Ice machine was very small/empty. No ice bucket, small tray or disposable cups in room.

The location

No water for almost 3 hrs and pounding most of the night. Room to small for two beds. Very uncomfortable mattress. Hardly any breakfast food. I asked for refund management said something threw my door about refund but haven’t got any confirmation.

"Love Unplugged: The Unexpected Soundtrack of the Night"

Loved the location and it was super clean.

My stay was fantastic, but just a light-hearted warning: the walls are more 'social' than you might expect. Prepare yourself for some unsolicited audio adventures, as you could be treated to the enthusiastic soundtrack of other guests' nighttime activities. Let's just say, it's a live performance you didn't know you had tickets for! LOL.

Lit confortable, frigo. Un beau style et Il y a beaucoup de meubles antiques dans l'hotel.

Il n'y avait pas de fenêtre sur l'extérieur a part celle de la chambre de bain qui est avec des vitraux. Le déjeuner très limité et pas de jus, juste café et thé. Même si on avait donné notre no de carte de crédit à la réservation, il fallait passer par un autre lien pour faire le paiement avant notre arrivée.

Awesome time and will be back

It was good, would have liked a bit more fresh options. Even if I had to purchase. A breakfast buffet type service with hot food would be perfect at this location given its proximity to food options.

The breakfast needs to be attended to. We had no napkins no silverware and no half and half for coffee. Container was empty! Who ever set it up did a very poor job

Huge and very clean room!

The property is located in a beautiful building. Our room was big and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated. About a 20 minute drive from St. Augustine historic center. Across the street from the beach, in a quiet area.

Neat boutique hotel. Decor is amazing .

This hotel was very different from most. It is very neat and well decorated. Great showers, very comfortable beds.

Front desk staff not helpful at all. Breakfast , on this visit no coffee available as advertised. The food options were subpar and the Lady handling the breakfast was not friendly or helpful to any of the guests.

It’s like home away from home.

The breakfast was muffins cereal fruits and yogurt and Jimmy deans breakfast sandwich. The coffee was ok. We can’t complain. There was something for everyone

Great value for the price!!

The decor was absolutely amazing. The huge back balcony was great for watching sunsets. Even though the shower was difficult to figure out how to adjust the temperature, the shower was greatt. The room was very spacious. Loved it.

Thete was no in room coffee, nor none available in the lobby. We had to wait until 8 a.m. until the continental breakfast was ready. I texted the front desk to see if we could possibly get some coffee, and they answered no, we had to wait. Believe it or not, the bed was actually too soft. As a side sleeper, it was almost suffocating. The reception area was a little hidden and hallways dark.

Parking was inconvenient, mediocre at best.

The building and room were recently updated. Cute decor.

Small parking lot. There were two larger vehicles there the whole two days taking up valuable space for patrons. One night the large cargo van was in a spot unevenly making it impossible to park near it in our vehicle, a medium pickup truck. Room was small, bed frame was refurbished, broken in places, creaky and loud. Mattress was memory foam but not a comfortable one. Walls were very thin. Not enough hot water. No beach access for a mile in each direction.

Lights shine through stain glass windows all night. Shower water temperature goes from hot to cold frequently. Front door slams can hear it all the way in the back.

The view from our balcony was spectacular!

I don’t like the code system to get into the hotel and into our room. Someone was given the code to our room and opened our door right after we went to sleep….luckily we had the second safety lock.
