About this bed and breakfast
Luxury private retreat with lake & golf views on the McCracken Golf Estate
Londolozi Lodge is an enchanting intimate bed & breakfast with a seductive blend of personal hospitality, charming architecture with striking decor situated on the scenic McCracken Golf Course.
An extraordinary B&B with intricate design elements inspired by nature created by the elegant and exotic host Ro London (Australia's Wildlife Crusader) a fashion & interior designer who raises funds for wildlife.
Enjoy freshly squeezed fruit juices from the orchard with a traditional home cooked breakfast in the Rhino Bar which has spectacular views to the lake and golf course. The exquisite Elephant Walk courtyard, a place to relax and unwind is encircled by crop rich fruit trees where an abundance of birdlife festoons the property, including the enchanting New Holland Honey Eaters who feast on the native Australian bottle brushes. The gorgeous gardens display exotic statues, wall art, mosaic benches, bird & bee baths with an elephant fountain reigning supreme!
This property is magic, a peaceful sanctuary. You can read all the 5***** reviews on my alternate property for 6 people. This property is a more economical version.

A Tranquil and Luxurious Retreat
If you are after something a little different then I urge you to experience the opulence of The Lodge. Ro's fine attention to detail, right down to the black porcelain panther salt and pepper shakers that watch over you as you devour a delicious home prepared meal while enjoying the stunning garden and birdlife, to the superbly designed bathroom, ensures an enchanting experience. We were even treated to parting gifts that are both educational, environmentally ethical and lasting. Do yourself a decadent favour and stay with the ever gracious Ro and her furbaby Oberon.

Had a relaxing African-style holiday in this quirky lodge without actually having to fly to Africa... Highly recommended for something a bit unusual in wonderful Victor Harbor! Hostess Ro was very gracious too...

We had a relaxing and lovely stay at this gorgeous house with our two teenage children. Rolanda was a fabulous & welcoming hostess, and her beautiful dog Kutu was very gentle with our tiny toy poodle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away and relax with or without their pet. Breakfast we delicious. Thanks so much for making us feel at home.

The theme is beautiful African animals, statues , fountains, paintings, even napkin rings? all facilities great, quiet location. Attentive host Ro cooks a mean omelette. Great walks nearby along the Hindmarsh river. We had a delightful stay.

Amazing African design features, African artefacts and generous welcome.
As a bed and breakfast we were given all of upstairs to ourselves, and extremely generous freedom of use for most of the rest of the house. Our daughter joined us and we were able to pay for an extra room.
Ro was a remarkable host. Offering a beautiful shirt and a package of CDs as well as an amazing meal for brekky.
Remarkably hospitable! Ro and her aunt Wendy who lives across the golf course the property adjoins worked on brekky.
The place is on two building blocks in the suburb, but it seems to be a whole different world. The golf course extends out behind, and at times there is a small what you might call waterhole there, but it was dried up at the moment... again the waterholes drying up in Africa came to mind.
The gardens were fantastic. The African theme predominates. We were amazed on the one night we srayed at the use of solar powered lighting in the garden to highlight so many of the features.
There is an outdoor bar area that was very African.
Inside lighting was also remarkable.
It was like a whole new world.
This was a gift from family, and a new experience for us.
We enjoyed the place immensely, and appreciated the care Ro showed. We understand some of her profits go to supporting African projects and conservation.
