About this house rental

Newly refurbished single floor accommodation situated on a quiet cul-de-sac minutes walk from the Winterton Dunes nature reserve and to Winterton beach. The property consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms with large kitchen diner and separate spacious lounge with log burner. The property has parking for two cars and an enclosed garden at rear. Suitable for couples, friends or family looking for a peaceful break by the sea. Dogs are welcome. There are five steps from the kitchen to the rear garden. The property is accessed from the front door which is on a gentle slope from the road. Outside access direct to the garden is via four steps. Please see photographs.
The property has a spacious central hallway with coat hooks, all rooms accessed from this hallway.
The main bedroom has king sized bed with 100% cotton bed linen, towels and robes are provided. En suite shower room (thermostatic shower) off the main bedroom. 32” smart TV.
The second bedroom has two twin beds again with 100% cotton bedding, towels and robes. 32” smart TV. The main bathroom, with thermostatic shower over bath, is situated next to the twin bedroom accessed off the hallway.
The large kitchen diner consists of electric oven and halogen hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and plenty and pots, pans and crockery for cooking if you so wish. A assortment of glasses, tumblers, wine glasses, gin goblets & champagne flutes. Full size fridge freezer and plenty of general storage space. A dining table which comfortably seats 6 is situated in the kitchen area together with 42” smart TV. Down 5 steps from the kitchen is a separate WC and outside door access to the rear garden. The rear garden is laid to lawn with shrubs around the edge. It is fully enclosed and secure for dogs. There is a side access to the garden through a gate to the side of the property. From the rear garden there is access to the garage where garden furniture and beach toys are kept. Please note the garage also contains the boiler, electric meters and storage of other maintenance items such as paint and garden equipment. Children should not be allowed alone in this area.

The bungalow was spotlessly clean and well presented. The location was excellent, in a quiet setting and close to the beach and village amenities. We all had a relaxing and very enjoyable time and the 2 dogs loved the beach and the dunes.

The bungalow is beautiful, spotless and spacious with everything you could need for a holiday. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog.The location was ideal with being just 2 minutes away from the sand dunes which you can walk over to the beach. Winterton is beautiful with pretty properties a shop, coffee shop & pub with beach shacks providing hot,& cold drinks & food and icecream. The whole place is a doggy heaven.

Amazing! What I say. Great cottage in Winterton by the Sea. Very impressed. Immaculate inside and out. Loved the sand dunes which were very close for walking the dogs. Gorgeous beach and surrounding area. So clean and tidy everywhere we went. Our highlight was a trip on a ferry boat from Martham Ferryboat hire.

Stayed earlier in the year for 3 nights, liked it so much we just had to have a week. Us and the dog love the location, couldn’t be closer to dunes and beach. Saw some seals nearly every day 👌. Winterton fish & chips is a must… Great location, great break - Thank you x.

The property is in a lovely quiet location but within very easy reach of the sand dunes, beach and the village. Excellent for dogs with the enclosed garden and local walks. The property is also very well equipped. Large screen smart tvs, modern comfortable furniture and much more. The area itself didnt hold a great interest for us regarding days out but the property and Winterton on Sea itself is lovely.

The property was especially clean . Dressing gowns were provided with extra towels . It was a great location close to beach and close to the main square. It was lovely and quiet. Very private . Amazing time . Sorry to leave .

My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach for our two dogs and a lovely secure garden when at home. I had the perfect stay. Thank you.

We travelled to Winterton on sea to stay at the excellent Larners Lodge. The accommodation is excellent in all aspects with everything you want and is located just off the village centre with all amenities close by. The excellent beach at Winterton and the sand dunes are just around the corner which is fantastic for walking on the Norfolk coastal path. We traveled with 2 dogs who enjoyed everything about the location. This was our second visit to this cottage and it as excelled both times we have visited. Winterton is well located on the east coast with various coastal towns within a short distance if you want to venture away from here.

Can’t fault this cottage at all! Great location, very clean with everything you may need, welcome pack I have to say was amazing and the best I have ever come across❤️ fantastic walks in every direction so our dogs were very tired each day, lovely pub, cafe corner shop and chip shop all within walking distance, the steps down to the garden could be an issue for small children but there was a stair gate provided to solve that if needed. Very quite and relaxing place to stay, we will definitely book here again.

Couldn’t fault Larners Lodge, it has everything you need for a great holiday. Beautiful accommodation, everything new and immaculately clean. Very well equipped kitchen too. . Perfect location close to the dunes and the beach. We were a party of four adults and two dogs and there was plenty of space for all of us. We will be back!

From the moment you arrive you know this wonderful bungalow will tick all the boxes . Furnished to a very high standard and tastefully decorated. Comfy robes,thick fluffy towels and a generous welcome pack just add to the feeling that nothing here has been overlooked., even our little dog had its box with bowls and towel .Situated in the idyllic village of Winterton on sea with its local pub,corner shop ,post office and chippy what more do you need apart from the short walk across the dunes to the beautiful beach Larners Lodge Well appointed Well situated Well recommended

A fabulous modern flint bungalow situated close to the dunes, village store, post office, chip shop and pub. It’s set down a private newly topped road with driveway for two cars, garage and fully fenced and enclosed garden. The accommodation is fully equipped with all your needs and a lovely welcome pack was provided on arrival. ( thank you, much appreciated) The property has been newly refurbished, tastefully decorated and furnished with comfortable quality fixtures and fittings. Bathrobes are even included for all guests. There are two bathrooms, one en-suite, and no less than 3 toilets! The whole place is light and airy and the kitchen breakfast room has a fabulous vaulted ceiling. Sam, the owner was very helpful and responsive Best of all it’s dog friendly with towels and bowls provided for our furry friends. Would highly recommend and return in the future.

What a treat this property is, everything is brand new as it has just been re-furbished. The towels a thick and fluffy as are the dressing gowns. The beds and bedding are of top quality. Two bathrooms, 3 toilets , all fully tiled with brand new fixtures and fittings, loads of hot water with good showers and lighted bathroom cabinets. The kitchen /diner is fabulous with a vaulted ceiling , good cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, the kitchen is stocked with every utensil you could want, Great enclosed garden for the dog or children, in the garage is all the garden furniture for you to use. The lounge is big with a large corner suite, arm chair and rocker, all brand new as are the carpets in lounge and bedrooms. Good central heating, log burner I could not fault this property in any way, its location is also amazing 2 minutes and you are on the dunes , 5 minutes from the pub which is open all day and serves food. A stone throw from the fish and chip shop and tea room. This is probably one of the best properties we have stayed in for price location and quality. Book with confidence you will not be disappointed. We will return and have recommended to all our friends and relatives.
