This was a great getaway. Very clean and cozy. The view of the lake was great and the view of the mountains from the dock was very nice. We look forward to a return stay and would definitely recommend.

The cozy cabin was a nice weekend retreat.
Hot tub, fire pit and easy lake access were great. Cabin and bedding was dusty, but nicely decorated. Took a boat rental from next door and the lake was great, even though the fish weren’t biting.

Nice property and close to marina and noc

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and indeed cozy. The large dock was perfect for sun bathing and fishing and the private outdoor hot tub was the icing on the cake. And the location: Wow ! You could easily walk to the marina next door for every kind of boat craft rentals and the marina restaurant was superb - plenty of outdoor seating and “out of this world” catfish and prime rib. Whole experience: awesome.

There were pros and cons to this place. The pros were it was very clean and has very up to date amenities, soaps, cooking products, dish satellite reception. Very quiet. The cons were it had a dampness odor initially, The screen door would not latch closed, the light over the sink is too low. I banged my head several times, the spa breaker tripped everyday and had to be reset in the bedroom.

This is our second time at this property and we had a great time once again. In the winter it feels very isolated (which is a good thing) as the marina is closed. They also have Christmas lights up which we love. We used our kayaks, the fire pit, hot tub, and just relaxed. The place was very comfortable and clean too. Great place.

The cabin makes you feel like it's a resort lodge with a spa. Outdoors is well manicured and picturesque. The food was delicious! The staff at the marina was helpful and our pontoon was in excellent shape. The lake was beautiful. Not overwhelmed with traffic or development. We are definitely going back. In fact I wish I was back now.

We had a great time!

The drive in from Knoxville was intense. The "Tail of the Dragon" was 11 miles of twisty, narrow curves but it was also really neat to see the scenery and the sports cars and motorcycles zipping through the turns.
We were here the first week of April, so the lake was too cold for swimming and the "Lakes End" restaurant/shop/marina was closed, so conveniences such as ice, firewood, kayak rentals, and boat rentals weren't available. The timing, however, did allow us to have a peaceful, private vacation. We brought our own kayaks and had the lake all to ourselves. Likewise, we had the grounds and docks (fishing) all to ourselves. There was plenty to keep our family occupied without the "resort" being open: kayaking, fishing, campfires, hot-tub, wifi, and a huge yard for sports and exploration. I have to add - Sitting on the private dock and reading a book with the lake and mountains in view was my favorite thing (beside the views when kayaking around the lake).
The cabin is everything you need for a great vacation with four people. It was clean, the beds were comfy, the linens were soft, the cookware/dinnerware were good quality, and the hosts even provided starter paper-goods, coffee pods, trash bags, and soaps. The shower was great (plenty of warm water) and the satellite/wifi were reliable. There's limited space, but there is one large dresser, one small dresser, and hooks everywhere for your belongings and cabinet room for your pantry goods. There are also some bookshelves for indoor storage. The thermostat worked great and the windows open for fresh air. There were no appliance failures/complaints to mention.
The outside amenities were exceptional. The deck was large and the table/chairs were resin composite, so they wiped dry after the rains (no cushions or absorbent wood to dry out). The hot-tub was awesome! It was clean, large, worked perfectly, and the cover was super easy to remove and replace. The structure over the hot-tub was lighted, provided an awesome gas fireplace, and provided a huge counter to store your outdoor gear. The firepit was great, too! There is some starter firewood, a picnic table, and four large seats around the pit. The charcoal grill was clean and well designed. A grill brush and ash can are provided.
Last, we took our dog and she had a great time. There is a hose for bathing and the was no dog poop anywhere when we arrived.
I get the impression that the place is very lively and fun in the summertime.

It was late and rainy when we checked in. The rivers were raging and ice was on some of the mountains at higher elevations. Very neat place in the winter time. We enjoyed out stay.

Nice cabin but it should have been cleaner. "Dust me" is written in the dust on the blinds and there are some giant spider webs at the top of cabinets. The fire at the hot tub worked 2 of 7 nights - a bit disappointing. Other than that, it is sufficiently stocked, and we had a nice time.

We rented this cabin for a weekend getaway! My family lives in the area and we were able to see them and also have our own beautiful place to stay less than 20 minutes away. The cabin was decorated for Christmas and just had so many amenities that made it such a special trip for us. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well decorated. The kitchen had most things that we needed to cook and grill with. The lakeside location, with the marina a stone’s throw away was impossible to beat. We would return again in a heartbeat!

The weather was perfect since we were trying to get away from the heat on the coast. We loved the cabin!! I would suggest 2 things: A drip board for the dish rack would be good. Also a roof over the the deck where the table is located. On rainy days you could still get out of the cabin if you so wished and spend time on the deck !! We'll probably be back !!

The lake couldn't have been better, warm, clear and very relaxing. The lakes End marina and restaurant staff could not have been better 5 stars. The grounds were maintained beautifully and the cottage was great.

Everything was clean and truly cozy. Just about every cooking utensil you would need to make most usual vacation dishes, even a full grilling set! We didn't expect all the kitchen utensils. It was a really great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. The kitchen was well equipped which was a plus. Our only complaint was the smell of a dirty dog when we walked in. I remedied that with a scented candle which I left there. We will return to visit.

My husband and I were frantic when our initial rental on vrbo was canceled last minute. Our 5th anniversary was less than two weeks away and now we were at square one. Well I am confident in saying that it was best thing that could have happened because we ended up finding this amazing little gem in the middle of the most beautiful of forests. The drive to the cabin through Nantahala national forest is breath taking with its rock faces, waterfall views and winding river road. The cabin is tucked off the road on lake Nantahala. The mountain views from the dock are amazing, made for beautiful pictures. The cabin itself is quite adorable with a more rustic exterior. The front porch is nice for morning coffee (there's a keurig!). Then once inside you feel transported to somewhere more modern and lavish. If you are still reading then I am about to get to THE BEST PART! There is a covered hot tub!! And I don't mean just any old hot tub under an awning, this is a legit, luxury hot tub under a wooden structure that has walls blocking you from a distant neighbor but open to the amazing lake views. I must also mention that the owner was very nice, accommodating and overall pleasant to deal with. We will definitely be back!

We appreciated the comfortable place to stay and that we were able to bring our fur babies. Nice fire place, porch, view, yard, parking and staff. Every member of the staff we came in contact with was exceptionall! North Carolina Nice!!
We ordered Thanksgiving Dinner - which was delivered to our cabin the night before - and WOW! The food was amazing AND enough to feed my husband and I for 3 days!
All our questions were answered when I texted the manager and extra care taken to make sure we had everything we needed.
Love this place!!

This was our first stay at Lake Nantahala, and we could not have chosen a better location for our 20th Anniversary getaway. Our two bedroom cottage was ideal for the two of us and our dog (they've even got a waste station out in the side yard to pick up after your dogs). Virtually everything we needed was provided, including an all-important Keurig with plenty of pods for our morning coffee. The hot tub was incredible, and the cabin's proximity to the marina and restaurant was perfect. The owners were kind and accommodating...couldn't have asked for better service. We will definitely be returning here for future trips!
