About this house rental
Artist’s Home is located in the lively creative buzz of Brighton’s North Laine, with its friendly independent shops, galleries & a great choice of outstanding cafes, pubs & restaurants - it’s the coolest neighbourhood in the city & it remains our favourite part of Brighton! This unique & superbly stylish 5 double bedroom townhouse offers everything you require for a home away from home stay with everything could possibly desire, moments from your front door - it’s a true central Brighton gem!
Artists Home is a stylish & spacious 5 double bedroom property. On the ground floor you have an open-plan kitchen/dining room with a large antique dining table, large enough to seat up to 10 guests. Off the dining room, you will find a charming terrace space with an outside seating area - a rare find in central Brighton!
The property comprises of 5 double bedrooms all with luxury double duvets, pillows, scatter cushions & throws for your comfort. Please note, all beds are double beds apart from the basement bedroom which is made up of 2 x twin beds pushed together make 1 large super king bed which can be separated if guests wish.
Guests will share the two large family sized bathrooms. The first bathroom is on the ground floor & has a large walk-in shower, WC & laundry appliances. The second family sized bathroom on the first floor has another large walk-in shower & a beautiful cast iron bath for evenings where you just want to indulge.
Guests have the whole property to themselves for the duration of their stay.
A note from the owners: We have owned Artists House since 2019 & for three years it was our family home. We particularly loved being just two minutes’ walk from the station making our car almost redundant. All Brighton’s attractions are within easy reach on foot with the Royal Pavilion and the town's Museum & Art Gallery at the bottom of the hill & the seafront only ten minutes away. The Komedia Cinema is in the centre of the North Laine, while the Odeon is close by on the seafront. With the Theatre Royal, the Dome and Corn Exchange also a few minutes distant there is frequently a choice of world class fine art, dance & music just short stroll away. The seafront arches offer a more bohemian and eclectic mix of small workshops and studios, and many of them have been converted into bars and joined Brighton’s thriving club scene. If you’re tempted, it’s only a short walk home to Over St. The South Downs form a dramatic backdrop to the city providing opportunities for country walks in case you need to clear your head the next day!
Getting around could not be easier due to the central location of the property - you are a few minute’s walk from Brighton station! You can easily access all parts of Brighton on foot or hop on one of the many busses to travel all around Brighton & Hove.
Travelling by car: There are very limited numbers of pay & display on street parking bays in central Brighton & none within easy walking distance of Over St - due to the property being in a such a prime location. There are several large car parks locally, including one behind Brighton Station. The nearest car park to the house is Trafalgar Street car park with entrances on Blackman St & Whitecross St. Please check each car parks website for further details on the cost of parking.
Travelling by train: The property is a short 3-minute walk from Brighton station.
The property is managed by our managing agents, Air Home Lets. They are available 7 days a week between 09:00 - 21:00 should you have any property questions/queries during your stay.

Good weekend had by all
5.0
We stayed as a group of 2x couples and 3x singles. There were clean, characterful rooms for all and we used the lounge and kitchen / diner too. A friendly welcome and all we needed. The location was excellent with restaurants and shops on our doorstep. A great place for a weekend getaway. And the artwork by host Fiona made it unique (in a good way!)
