We were positively surprised by this house. Bigger than expected and truly in a central location that would allow walking everywhere (if it is not raining cats and dogs). Highly recommended!

Wonderful house, with beautiful wood floors and cabinets, engaging artwork, large yard with large trees and hedge. Kitchen was great, with everything we needed. The host had provided us with suggested places to visit on our way into Arcata and in town itself. We plan to be back next year.

This house is perfect if traveling with 4 people. Plenty of space. Beautiful kitchen and property. We traveled with two teenagers and it was comfortable for everyone. This home has very nice furnishings, flooring, etc. Location was phenomenal. Walking distance to downtown and Cal Poly.
Host was extremely responsive. Listing is very accurate. Literally can’t think of anything negative to say. Will definitely stay again.

If you get the chance to stay here do it!! This place is so nice! Spacious, nice, close to all things to walk, friendly neighborhood. I can’t say enough positive things about this house and area. Even my mom liked it and she never likes anything lol. The yard is huge. It’s near the road but when inside you don’t hear anything.

Saying goodbye to our freshman and moving him into his dorm was rough (emotionally) but this most lovely house situated both so close to campus and to downtown Arcata was the best.
We walked to the Saturday farmers market our first morning and then my husband and I walked to a wonderful dinner right off the plaza our last night there.
The house is beautiful, definitely read the history behind it. Communication was great and we will absolutely be staying there again - already booked our next visit up!
