Nestled in the hills of Caledonia, this modern 3-bed/2.5 bath cabin offers a true Wisconsin experience, fit for any guest. Relax and unwind while you travel the winding country roads to the beautiful place you'll call home while you enjoy your stay & all that Wisconsin has to offer. Floor to ceiling windows boast amazing water views of Lake Wisconsin and nature surrounds you on all sides, all while you reside in the charm of the mid-century architecture of this cabin. Just minutes from the bluffs of Devil's Lake which offer some of Wisconsin's best hiking, biking, walking trails, and swimming! Plus, a short drive from Baraboo or Wisconsin Dells, where you can check out local shops, eats & drinks at some of our faves: Balanced Rock Winery, Driftless Glen Distillery, or AL Ringling Brewery Co!

Take the fun route to our cabin by getting onto the FREE Ferry boat located in Merrimac! This Ferry runs 24/7!

GUEST ACCESS
You will have full access to the entire cabin!

AMENITIES
We provide towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, and trash can liners. Think of these amenities as a "starter kit", we HIGHLY recommend you bring additional items appropriate for your stay such as extra towels/blankets/soap/shampoo/cooking spray/laundry detergent, Salt/Pepper, etc

ENTRY
There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. Entry code will be provided to you 72 hours before arrival. The code is changed after every guest.

PARKING
There are 3 parking spots on the property. There is also street parking for a short amount of time. The driveway is dirt/gravel and is steep. All Wheel Drive is recommended.

THE DRIVE
Imagine you are a racecar driver, you will experience the winding country roads with an occasional obstacle getting in your way such as deer, turkeys, chickens, and more. There will be limited service so printing off directions is wise.

INTERNET/CABLE
There is reliable high speed internet throughout the cabin.
All of the TVs are Smart TVs. We do not provide Netflix or Hulu but you can certainly log in to your own account.

GRILL
We have a Charcoal grill on the property but we DO NOT have charcoal. The guest will be responsible for providing this. We do however have the utensils such as tongs, flipper, and grill scraper.

LAUNDRY
Washer and Dryer are available for use. Please bring your own laundry detergent for your stay.

BEDROOMS

There are 3 bedrooms located on the property. The main floor bedroom holds a queen-size bed while the other bedroom is located on the second floor with another queen-size bed. The third bedroom is located in the basement with a egress window and it’s own bathroom. Each mattress has a different firmness to it. Overall the cottage can accommodate 8 people comfortably.

KITCHEN
Fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig, and all of the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/ Utensils.
Keurig- Kpods are provided with creamers or sugar packets. We do not provide salt/pepper or any cooking oil.

SECURITY
Blink security cameras are located at the front of the cabin facing the driveway and one facing the front door. The third camera is facing the backyard. We will not be monitoring the camera on a day-to-day basis, only when needed. NO cameras inside the property.

FIREPIT:
Please clean up after yourself and do not move the firepit. Where it is located currently is the safest location.

We stayed at a wonderful cabin on a hill overlooking the lake Wisconsin. Although the building itself felt a bit old, the interior was very clean and stylishly decorated. The variety of amusements in the basement kept our children entertained. The entrance being on the backside made it a bit tricky to find the way in. Overall, it was a great experience for our family, as we had always wanted to stay in a place like this. It felt like we were in a movie.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. You really feel like you are getting away with the scenic views, but still close enough to enjoy the amenities of Madison and Wisconsin Dells. Our pre-teen boys also loved the basement game room!

The Lakeview cabin exceeded our expectations. To wake up each morning and see the view of the lake with Autumn colors from all the windows was like attending an art gallery of Creation. The hosts were EXCELLENT communicators, responding to our questions. We enjoyed hikes at Devil's Lake State Park and other natural areas over our stay, and then cozied up in the cabin for family game nights in the evening! Loved playing records as the sound track to air hockey tournaments and board game contests. We would love to come back!

Unfortunately, we picked a few days with bad weather, but we had a great time with friends in the house nevertheless. Lots of games in a very comfortable setting.

House was styled in a mid-century modern, appealing aesthetic. Nice property in a semi remote location (felt far enough away but was close enough to amenities). Nice yard and view. Updated and modern kitchen. No dishwasher and one shower, but that worked out okay for 4 of us. Could have been a little cleaner upon arrival. Charcoal grill was adequate. Beds were comfy. AC and heat worked well. Lots of streaming TV options and good WiFi if you are looking for that. Overall would recommend.

Beautiful views out the large windows and a great area to gather around the table and get all caught up with family. The stairs were a bit challenging tho for our senior citizens in the group.

Great place to be when going the Dells area if you want to be a little more private than in town. Very unique, charming place. Highly recommend !

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the house and the area. A lot of thoughtful items provided to make stay more convenient and enjoyable. We would come back!
